    Assuming that 20 lb loss is a realistic target for you then...

    Plug your stats into MFP and set a weight loss rate - to hit your target you'll need a 2lb loss per week (note that this rate of loss is very difficult to sustain if you're already lean).

    Do not exclude any food groups but rather eat the foods you enjoy in a balanced diet that hits your calories target each day.
    If you feel like it you can add in exercise to help with the deficit or (with strength exercise) to preserve muscle during your diet.
