New month, new challenge!

Our challenge is to do 10,000 steps in a day. You can do this for any one day or try for the entire month. Jump right in at any time! You can set a lower or higher goal if you wish. Our main goal is to keep activate every day!

It's easy to join - Just post here to begin! You can also jump in anytime during the month, too.

You will need a step counter to keep track of your steps and then post your results daily here.

    I'm back in for July! My goal is again 350,500 steps for the month. That averages to 11,306 per day...

    I'm in, my goals are not as lofty.. I'm new and set 7500 a day. Bought a new garmin last night.. 11000 today.

    I would like to join the challenge. I'm new here and to exercise so to start off I'm setting my goal at 7000 steps a day starting tomorrow 7/2.

    I've been trying to hit 10,000 consistently for a while but I never made it past a week... hope this month will be the month I can do it!

    Sedentary office job so this is a challenge for me.

    Welcome! I also have a sedentary job, so I shoot for 7500 steps. Last month was not very good for me, as work was pretty busy.

    My goal is 7500 steps a day, as I have a sedentary job and like to go for bike rides, too. I'm determined to up my step count this month!!

    I'm in! Only have 5000 steps so far today. But working nights so hoping for 10,000 before midnight!

    Oh dear. I realised I've been logging on the wrong challenge. I meant to join here for my second month but ended up on a miles one. Oops.

    My goal for the month is ave of 6500 steps/day. I find it hard to log a lot of steps as I don't track my exercise. I either do strength training or I'm playing rugby so I can't have a tracker on me.

    Total 24,709 (20.72km)

    1/Jul 9723 (7.66km)
    2/Jul 14,986 (13.06km)
    June 17: 180,623/150,000 (141.47km)

    Hope it's okay to join even though I have a daily step goal of 25k steps? I'm naturally restless and generally get at least 21k steps a day. I'm a nanny to 5 year old twins so when I'm working I'm constantly on my feet.

    Yesterday was a failure at 23,432 and today I likely won't even hit 22k but I'm not giving up. I will make more time to walk, whether it's getting up a little earlier or walking before it gets dark.

    Joining this challenge has motivated me to meet the 10,000 steps today - even though 1500 steps were just back and forth around the kitchen island :dizzy: whatever works!
