I'm 5'3ish and I started at a size 22, my starting weight was 275lbs. I'm now at 242lbs and I'm still wearing my size 22's. I'm hoping to skip size 20, maybe even size 18!. I don't want to buy new pants until I really, really have to. LOL.
These are Australian sizes, so I'm not sure if US sizing is the same.0 -
I'm very tall maybe 6 feet definitely some where in that area I'm loose in size 24's and starting to buy 22 in jeans last time I was weighed about 3 weeks ago I was 3180

I was 301 pounds when I was a size 22. Now I wear a size 16 at 245 . I am 5'8 though which is considered tall.0

This is so interesting to me! It's amazing how different people can weigh/look at the same sizes. I'm 5'7" and when I weighed 277 I wore a 3x, Torrid size 3 or 22/24. Right now I weigh 163 and wear a size M/10. I'm always looking for progress pictures for women with similar stats, and usually (even with the same or even very close height/weight/bust/waist/hip measurements) when I find them they wear different sizes than me. I guess it's all about how you carry your weight and the sizing of the brand. I bought these jeans yesterday and if it wasn't for my HUGE calves (which I hear and hope are hiding killer calf muscles) and thick thighs I may have been able to go down a size, because the waist was pretty roomy.
Something I noticed which may be helpful to someone, there is more "wiggle room" between bigger sizes than smaller ones. The workout clothes I bought at 277 fit me at least decently until I weighed around 230, so almost a 50# difference. The next pants only lasted for about a 25# difference, and so on. So if you've lost let's say, 30 pounds, and you're feeling down about not having lost many sizes or that your bigger clothes still pretty much fit, don't fret! Because when you finally cave to buy a new outfit when your larger size is falling off you may be pretty shocked at how many you really have gone down. This picture is day 1 (sorry I was hiding in the dark) at size 22 (though it was Torrid brand and it was snug, so I may have been closer to 24) and last night.

Nice work!
I'd agree with the wiggle room statement, too, yes. If I remember correctly, it took me about 20-25 lbs of weight loss to go from the size 20/22 to a size 18.
However, it took me losing about 10-15 lbs to go from a size 12 (around 180 lbs) to my current size 10 (165 pounds).1 -
5' 6 1/2" at 255 lbs I was a size 22
