Just to say good luck. You can do this! I lost 4 and half stone in just under 6 months 6 years ago. I've kept it off (dropped another half stone after which has crept back on).0

5 stone is a lot to lose in 5 and a half months (I'm not saying it's not possible) that's a 1300 calorie deficit per day roughly. You are more likely to keep the weight off if you do it in a sustainable fashion, the recommended rate of weight loss is 1-2lb per week (500-1000 calorie deficit per day). Sticking to the recommended rates you could still lose 2-4 stone and perhaps a little more with initial water weight drop by Christmas. Wouldn't you rather do it in a way that is easier to stick to and that gives you the nutrients you need for a healthy life?0
