The friend that told you not to do another is correct. Cleanses are a good way to waste your money and don't actually do anything for you.24

The only person that cleanse will help is the one making a profit from it's sale.19

If your body contains toxins that your kidneys and liver aren't dealing with, you need a doctor, not a detox.
Detoxes and cleanses are complete woo invented by utter geniuses who worked out they could make money from giving people diarrhea and having them pay for the privilege.29 -
I looked at the Vitamin Shoppe 7 day cleanse.
2 ingrendients: Magnesium 1,000 mg. = Enough to give anyone diahreah for days. With a touch of potassium. All this for a whopping $$22.00
All it's doing is cleaning your wallet. Magnesium is cheap at walmart. And diahreah is not good for anyone.22 -
Detoxes are stupid.
Don't be stupid.24 -

if u eat alot of processed products then i recommend doing an all natural detox by eating and drinking lots of fresh fruits and fresh veggies and a gallon of water a day.. it works try it for a week.. then from there continue eating real food and drinking plenty of water.. no need to buy a detox just eat right from here on out. or try doing a water fast once a week58

Your body is made to regulate itself. Eat right and drink water, you're set!8

Listen to your one smart friend who says not to do it.14

Can I detox my body from the fresh fruits and veggies by eating processed products? Can I call it the processed detox? I think I will do this and sell it. Anyone want to buy my processed detox starter kit? Comes with a two liter of Diet Dr. Pepper Cherry, a large bag of flaming hot Cheetos, and a bag of sugar free gummy bears. Just eat that for seven days straight, and you'll be free and clear of all those sugar laden fruits and veggies.

@bagge72 You need a name for your book kit. A catchy name. And more ingredients for variety.1

Hmm, maybe call it "Stupid *kitten* People Will Buy!" or "Stupid *kitten* People Will Do To Themselves"? Kitten = Swear word for poop.

Dr. Oz could probably help you with this.6 -
Too many such "detox" and "cleanses" can screw with your gut flora. Save such things for colonoscopy prep.8

A cleanse is good if you're constipated, I guess2 -

I don't think people consider this when they do a detox and it's an important issue to bring up.5 -
I did the 10 day detox by Hyman without the supplements. Basicly it is protein, veggies and good fats. I needed a jump start on eating healthy and this did it for me.23

Sounds like a diet of food. I approve. Not sure why a doctor's guidance is needed for that, though.3 -
