I hope I'm not too late to join you all because boy do I need this.!I haven't been to Onederland in over fifteen years and I miss it and all the fun I had there. Hoping to move there and not just visit this time
. Corniness aside, I look forward to being able to do the things I could do when I was lighter!
I just started mfp five days ago and won't weigh myself again until Saturday.

Made it!!! Now to keep it going in the right direction.4 -
I have a long way to go and I know its going to be damned near impossible but I want to get back to the 190s by the end of the year. I was 192 (my lowest weight ever) last year around April and I blew it due to my depression. So now that I am no longer in a depressed state, I am trying my damnest to get back to that weight and to keep going beyond that number. My ultimate goal is 128 but right now Onederland sounds great!

25lbs down so far in 2 months. If I can keep this up, I will get down to 199 by the end of the year, but its all about my willpower and determination.
I know loose skin is a risk factor, but I'd rather deal with the loose skin than deal with another year of being obese.2 -
I'm not sure how often others are logging but I'd like to join.

If I can do this YOU can do this. I have been 210-230 pounds for over 20 years with one dip for about 6 months where I got down to about 190. Then I made some bad choices by giving work control of my life and bounded right back up. I'm too old for that *kitten* now so I'm back in command. I understand the difficulties of working and raising a family. But now that the kids are adults I have no excuses for not taking care of me. Age is not an excuse for not being successful with weight loss. I may have a few less muscles driving a slightly slower metabolism, but what a great justification for strength building. It actually feels good to be in control of something!
