Gross question.

Options
I just made a whole 3 cups worth of overnight oats, only to find out the yogurt I used was moldy and expired last month. I really dont want to waste food and that was my breakfast for a couple days. If I microwave it will it be safe to eat? I know, I've googled it but there's not really any clear answers. Your input?

Ick. Don't eat it. When in doubt, throw it out.

It's made from soy, not dairy if that helps?

No. It doesn't. Why would you think it does?

Heating it up in the microwave will make it even worse! Throw it out, and next time check the use by date

No one likes to waste food. But it's never wise to chance making yourself sick. I'm sorry...I would toss it and start fresh.

If it was just expired it would be one thing (something about our fidge keeps meat and dairy unspoiled well past the BB date) but if you can see, taste or smell spoiling, chuck it.

Would you rather waste some food or end up with food poisoning? The choice seems pretty clear to me. :) Go buy some new yogurt and oats and start over!

Enjoy all foods before expiration date. B)

Expired = Throw away for own and family / friends health.

Microwaving it will kill some of the microbes but won't do anything to get rid of the toxic (to you) materials they made so you'll almost definitely get sick

You didn't notice the mold when making the oats?? But no - I don't think you can cook out mold. I wouldn't risk it.
