Your body (including your muscles) is smarter than you think. You can't confuse them.10

@Singingflutelad I am on hear to lose weight I will try to give advice but I will definitely take it. I am on a mission to lose weight and I will. I am not asking my wife for help in this journey. I want to prove to myself I can do it this is my goal . What I did was ask a question. I hear to get help and encouragement and try an to do the same for others.3

Metabolism confusion works just as well as muscle confusion - Neither work at all.14

So you want to ask a bunch of strangers on a forum instead of your wife who is well-versed in this subject area and should, as your WIFE, be the backbone of your support system? Whatever floats your boat.7 -

Neither. It's interval confusion and muscle training.10 -

There is no such thing as muscle confusion or metabolism confusion. In general, the human body is smarter than that...

Is muscle confusion that thing where you try and change directions partway into a step and lose your balance and end up slamming into a door frame? Because that's totally a real thing.22

Cross Fit is an exercise program which takes elements of several different training protocols and adds a competitive aspect. It's a type of exercise program.
Muscle confusion is a (debunked) training concept.
To compare the two is not valid - they are different things.4 -

"Muscle confusion" is a phony gimmick to sell exercise equipment and videos. "Metabolic confusion" is a phony gimmick used to sell diet plans and supplements. So yes, they're very similar.12
