I'm in! It sounds like a good challenge. I"m 6'3", 279, lift weights, and go to some of those classes at the gym that are basically aerobic lifting.

Hello everyone! My name is Stephanie, 28,and I'm from Texas. I'm a day late but I would love to join in! My starting weight is 246 pounds and my goal is to be at 216 pounds by Thanksgiving! I just started a plant-based diet (today is my 10th day & I've lost 4 lbs so far) but plan on having an occasional "cheat" or include some sort of meat or dairy here and there. I will be eating at a 500 calorie deficit and committing to at least five 30 minute workouts per week, eventually adding weight training to the mix. I hope to reach my goal with hard work and some motivation and accountability from this thread! Good luck everyone!
  • I would like to join in. Been through a bit of depression and added extra weight but starting today I want to get a new healthier me. Weighed in at the dr office today at 222. I want to be 202 by Thanksgiving!

According to this app I should get 1800 calories a day and according to my dr 30 sweating mins in the gym 5 times a week.

    Let's do this!!

I'm joining in! 5'10'' female here, currently at 248lbs (down 16 from 5 weeks ago when I started!). I think 25lbs is doable by Thanksgiving. I'm going on a trip to Seattle the week before, so this will hopefully help keep me on my goals while on vacation. :) Feel free to add me!

I'm in. This is my first group! I need to lose at least 50 - 60 more overall. (Lost 7 so far and want to lose around 10 extra - planning for slight gain back/struggle range.)

100 days is around 14 weeks, so I will aim for 25 pounds and secretly hope for more!

My goals are 1) enough sleep 2) weights 3X week (I do 3 leg/ 3 arms/ 3 stomach or trunk) and since I am at the gym, I do cardio on those days. 4) walk 3 miles or swim on three other days 5) stay in calorie range

Toughest is getting enough sleep. I am not a perfectionist though and do have zero exercise days. I have just started using the walking pal app -it's helpful!

A few years ago my doc said if a person walks or runs 3 miles a day, weight will not be a problem. I doubt I will ever walk or run 3 miles everyday, but am aiming at 3x per week as a lifetime habit.

    Go for it!
