    Is it too late to join?
    Losing 25-30 should put me at goal weight based upon my last weigh-in on August 1. I will be weighing again on August 31 and every week in September. I doubt I will lose that quickly, but I would love to try anyway!

    Fell off a bit,d but hit the gym today so Im back to it. We have 12 WEEKS until Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!!

    87 Days till Turkey Day - Worked till 1030 last night.... home, shower then in bed by 1130... ALRAM CLOCK thrown against the wall (not really, but I thought about it) at 4:45... feet on the floor and out the door and I got my exercise groove on!!! I am motivated and dedicated!

    MY diet was off a little bit this weekend. Not too bad. But I could do better.

    86 Days till Turkey Day - 223.5 WOW what a nice surprise. I know I’m cutting back on portion size, plus I mowed the yard last night… so maybe little bit of water weight loss.
    Today is my first day of trying some intermittent fasting (I/F) so we’ll see how it goes.

    The scale shows no movement but i put on a pair of shorts to see and they were considerably less tight than 2 weeks ago.

    I am not discouraged at the scales reading bc i know inches are coming off.

    I started tracking my weight and food again on 8/9 , so I'll do a lil' recap this first post:

    SW: 167.8 (8/9)
    GW: 135

    I weigh-in officially on Wednesdays:

    8/16 - 163.6
    8/23 - 162

    85 days 'til turkey day:
    8/30 - to be added after work

    I work out five days a week for about 90 minutes a session - cardio, strength, and core. I walk or hike on rest days.

    Finally have a weigh-in and can set some goals for the rest of this challenge!
    SW: 179
    CW: 153.8
    GW: 125

    Not sure I will meet this challenge, but I will definitely put in the effort!
    I only focus specifically on weight loss every other month, and that is my focus for September. I will be weighing in every Thursday.
    Goals are to complete the MFP fall challenge, do bodyweight resistance training every other day, and to practice IF 6 days a week.

    Thank you! I'm actually taking this seriously this time. Of course I'm scared to death of the actual turkey day. I'm normally the one making the food! Everyone is expecting all of the family traditional dishes.

    But yes, that does sound like a challenge! Actually, thanksgiving is usually when I eat the least amount of food. Since I'm vegan, no one ever prepares anything I can eat! But I turn 30 in January, and I would really like to enter my 30s in maintenance mode instead of still trying to lose! I'm hoping this challenge will really help.

    Sorry everyone, I have been preparing for Hurricane Irma.....south Florida here.

    I have been logging food and getting workouts it. Keep up the good work and say some prayers for us down here.
  • I'm in 5"11 male started in feb started at 250 got down to 210 hit few plateaus but trying to get to 190 sounds like a good challenge might get me out my slump

    Have about 30 lbs to lose. Which I think should be doable by thanksgiving hopefully!
    I lost these 30 lbs about 6 years ago but slowly gained it all back sadly.
