Starting on August 21 - 30, JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS, we will begin Round 14! Lets see what more we can do as we reach a total of 140 days consecutively!
Anyone else game?
Weighing yourself everyday? Controversial you may say? Well for me personally, checking the scale can be motivating. I read in a study of 3,500 people who maintained 60 or more pounds of weight loss for at least a year, researchers from the National Weight Control Registry found that 44 percent weighed themselves every day. Another study in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine found that overweight people are six times more likely to lose weight if they weigh themselves at least once a day. I don't about you, but it helps me and motivates me to keep going or to tweak what I did the day before. I never weigh more than just once in the morning. Our weight fluctuates constantly throughout the day with what we drink and consume, so only make it a 'once a day' rule for sanity sake. ~Hillcrestbaby

New to this! My goal is to see some progress in the ten days. That's all I need right now to get some more positive vibes. I've slowly regained the weight I lost in 2010 and am down about that. I finally kicked myself in the butt and said I should do something about it

Back still! Did the yoyo thing last round; ended up where I started 144.4. I vow to be more conscious this round and to exercise more - hard to do lately because of family commitments. I'm looking to get to 143 or below without bouncing back. I started midway through Round 2 at 153.9 on 4/29. Slow going but better than nothing. I'm at roughly .5 a week loss. I need to get a little more serious this round.
