  • Does anyone know why this happens? I feel SO sick when I drink it. I get nauseous and feel like I am going to pass out.

I too usually feel nausous after drinking green tea. This morning I was feeling unusually hungry before I had a cup of green tea (Lipton bag), and actually got the heaves after drinking the tea. I had to quickly eat some toast, and then the sickness passed.

Yes. If it is brewed for too long or before eating.

I love green tea, but on an empty stomach it make me feel so nauseous. No problem if I drink it after a full meal though.

    What an odd zombie thread.

Green tea makes me nauseous because it's gross.

I LOVED everything Green Tea supposedly does for your body so I used to consume it regularly, however, recently I've been noticing that I also feel a little nausea when I drink it, as well as, I get a little shaky. I've been trying to cut down and drink perhaps 2 times a week AT MOST.
