8/21 215.2 / Dang! We ate out yesterday, I took a nap, went for a 2 mile run, made a super delicious dinner AND had a cupcake. It was pretty awesome and so this number isn't really bothering me. Focusing on lots of water today!
8/22 / 213.7 / Well, less than my last round but I can still feel some bloating so I'm hoping with adequate water today and a run that we'll be back in the 211s tomorrow.
8/23 / 213.7 / Meh. Ran 3.3 miles last night WITH EASE dang I'm so glad I got back into running. Weather was cooler and the run was more enjoyable than usual. Was way under calories. I have this feeling my scale doesn't weigh correctly day to day because I'm the same weight with clothes on, without clothes on, before the bathroom, after the bathroom. What scale does everyone here use? Anywho I'm not disappointed with the number. I'm feeling pretty great

8/25 / 209.8 / just took my girls to the park after work. Pushing a double stroller is a good workout! Lol but I took yesterday as a rest day and was only over my calories by 30something. I'm out of the 10s!!
8/26 / 209.8 / went to a Greek festival last night after my run and ate awesome authentic Greek food and deserts. Drank a few beers. Went for a 3.5 run today after a 2.5 hour nap. I was so exhausted today for whatever reason.I have the best husband! Feel a ton better after getting my long run in. Using the 10PR method of increasing distance. By October/November I'll be in half marathon range!

8/23: 206 -- over calories (but trending downward), worked out. I think this week is shaping up to be an unintentional diet break (at it since late April).
8/24: 206 -- nothing if not consistent (weight, eating, workouts, etc.) This has been, and continues to be, an awful week on many levels so I'm happy to maintain right now.

8/21: 219.8 - I feel like I'm getting nowhere this month. I'm hoping for a whoosh and a decent drop over the next 10 days.

8/24: 217.8 - That's better lol! It's my daughter' 7th birthday!
8/25: 217.4 - It may not be much but that is a new low! I managed to stick to my calories yesterday while still enjoying some ice cream cake
8/26: 216.8 - I had two HUGE bowls of spaghetti last night and did not expect that number this morning. Another new low!
8/27: 218 - Daughter's birthday party yesterday. We had lots of fun and I managed to stay in my calories and didn't feel the need to eat a bunch of cake!
8/28: 217.6 - I haven't felt good these last couple of days. I'm thinking it's all the junk food I've been eating with the birthday party and such. Yesterday I had a mini binge and went over my calories eating cereal and cupcakes. Not a good idea. Today is a new day and I l'll ne jumping back into my old routine.
8/29: 217 - Upped my calories since I've been doing strength exercises and am more hungry than usual. I'm a little nervous about it though and hope I can keep up my weightloss.

8/21 - 170.2 -frustrated that I'm hovering at 170 the last few days. Though after a weekend of being a bit looser on my diet, it could be worse.
8/22 - 170.0 - at least there's some progress even if it's small. Actually a bit surprised since I went over my cal count last night. I did well for most of the day but caved in to chipotle tacos for dinner. I'll do better today!
8/23 - 168.8 - yes! That's more like it! Was below cal count yesterday and went to a zumba class! :-) going to try to go to the gym again tonight. Maybe work on some strength training.
8/24 - 168.0 - alright! I'm hoping to break 168 before the end of the week. Haven't gotten below that yet. I was under calorie count yesterday (though over on fat). Went to gym and burned 200 cals doing various cardio exercises (stationary bike, treadmill, elliptical). Also worked on arms. Overall a good day!
8/25 168.2 - was slightly afraid to check my weight today. I stayed under cals yesterday but had pasta for dinner and didn't exercise. A bit sad that it went up slightly, but not the worst. May not make my below 168 goal this week, but maybe by the end of the round??? Going to go try a pilates class today.
8/26 - 168.2 - I guess 168 is the new hurdle. seemed to have gotten past 170 (knock on wood). At first I was annoyed that there was no movement but I caught a glimpse of myself wearing shorts in the mirror and...starting to see (very small) definition in the legs. I still feel sore from pilates yesterday too (the good kind of sore). Celebrating the small victories!
8/27 - 170.2 - nooooooo! not super surprising though. Had a big breakfast yesterday then wine and fries later in the night. I paid for it...
8/28 - 169.6 - let's keep moving in this direction...yesterday I went swimming but ate those cals back. Now that it's Monday, I can get back into my routine again. Weekends seem to be tougher.
8/29 - 168.4 - keep it up body! I did well yesterday! Managed to stay well below cal count :-) Starting to figure out that small snacks throughout the day seem to work better for me than meals. Going to try to get to the gym tonight!

8/21 -131.5 stable. That's good. Long walk around the lake through the hills and then to the gym. I had an eclipse gathering at my house today. Hopefully not too much damage.
8/22 - 131.1 love the trajectory. Hopefully I can keep this up and reach 130 by the end of this challenge.
8/23 - 132.1 Not really sure what that is about. Although my logging has been a bit haphazard. I am hoping it goes away as fast as it came. And I will be better about logging. Taking responsibility.
8/24 - 131.8 still not doing a decent job at logging. Working out ok. I think mindful eating but who knows without logging. Tomorrow is another day. And 6 more days in this challenge. I remain hopeful & determined!

8/26 - 130.1 not sure how that happened. And don't expect to stick. But I will take it for now and behave. Let's see what tomorrow brings.
8/27 - 130.6 I am happy with that. Did my 5 mile run this morning. And had a hearty breakfast, that should take me into the afternoon. Trying to keep the momentum going!
8/28 - 130.5 Holding steady! Would love to see a steady 130 at months end. I can feel it!!! Off to the gym I go after my 3 mile walk with my dogs. I am motivated

8/22--227.0 Tonight I am flying to see my parents. I was contemplating whether I should bring my scale, but I decided I will. I'm still not sure if I should bring my food scale or not. I am sure the 5 hour flight will show up in my weight tomorrow. I forgot to stretch yesterday, but this morning after walking the dog I did my stretching.
8/23--228.6 I know this number is not accurate. Between the water retention from the flight, the fact that I have had less than 4 hours of sleep, and the fact that my scale is at a different location, I'm not surprised that the weight is up.
8/24--226.1 Another weigh in at my parents house so not sure if this is a true loss loss or not, but I will take it.
8/25--225.9 Went to the rec center near my parents house and did my weightlifting yesterday. Also did my stretching. Going out for dinner with friends tonight so I expect a gain to show up tomorrow.
8/26--226.6 Went out for dinner last night. Just got back from the gym and returning home today. I was impressed with the fact that during my four day trip to my parents I went to the gym twice, stretched every day, and, other than for yesterday, I ate at or near my calorie goals.
8/27--229.2 Ugh. A part of this is from the water retention from the flight and the fact that I didn't drink a lot of water yesterday. I also didn't plan for the almost 9 hours of travel time, so I ended up eating candy while waiting at the airport and then coming home and eating when I really wasn't hungry and now I'm feeling a little gross. So, today I am just getting back to eating as usual today and getting back on track. It will be interesting to see the scale tomorrow.
8/28--228.8 I was still feeling gross yesterday, so I lspent most of the day laying on the couch watching tv. I also didn't drink as much water as I should of. I woke up today still feeling heavy. Today it'sback to my normal schedule.
8/29--227.5 Feeling better today. Back to my normal eating and keeping myself hydrated. It's shocking how easily your body is affected by bad eating when you start eating more healthy.

8/21 - 228.8 - feeling great. Walked to and from gym. Did 12.9km walk/bike/elliptical! Almost reached my 100km in Aug goal! I've been going to the gym every day except rest days and i am not craving to go. I've been eating very well and prepping my food ahead of time. I've been motivated my Bigest Loser Team and my Buddy! I have more energy and my mood is more positive! I've been drinking at least 4-24oz bottles of water a day with a goal of 6.5 bottles!
8/22 - 228.6 - slow and steady
8/23 - 228.8 - i had a down day yesterday both mood and no exercise. I ended up binging on 90 calorie chocolate treats... so back on track today. Went to the gym at 8am. Going to clean my car. Then go for a walk later today!
8/24 - 227.6 - yeh back on track! Went to the gym this morning, didn't eat enough right before because I had errands so didn't push as hard as i normally do due to lack of energy. Walked home from the gym then to and from my dentist appt. Also achieved my 100km walk/bike/elliptical/row today!!!! I'm going to see how many more km I can get in so i can beat it next month! I also lost 2.4lbs since last week when i weighed in for the Biggest Loser Challenge!
8/25 - 227.2 - still going down! Did a 8.5km walk today and ate well! Looking forward to weighing in tomorrow.
8/26 - 277.0 - and down down Down! I wasn't feeling so motivated to go to the gym today but thankfully I already asked my dad to watch the baby today... so it was easier to have things in motion when I'm not feeling so motivated. I know i always feel so much better after exercising. I think im realizing for this reason my day feels much better way i go to the gym in the morning rather than in the afternoon when I'm losing motivation. Hoping to be in the 6s tomorrow!

8/22 - forgot to weigh in this morning. :-( This will take some getting use to. I ate left overs yesterday but managed to stay within my calories intake. To much bread though. We got these awesome buns and I don't want to waist them. I am thinking about trying not drinking for a month. Sept is pretty quite. I wonder if I can do it. 50 min of walking and 60 squats

8/29 177.6 No sleep last night. Too hot and all I can do is worry about my Mom and daughter. Mom is still in the hospital. No word on what is happening yet. They wanted her to sign a DNR form. She asked them if she was that sick and they said no. So then why would they ask her to sign one? She didn't sign it. Missed out on doing C25K again. I need energy for that. I'm thinking nap when I get home. If I can sleep. It is another scorcher today.

8/21 260.8 - been hovering here for a bit now, but i ate horribly today. too many calories in general and WAY too many of them from carbs. i expect a bump up tomorrow morning. blah. birthday cake, YOUUUUUUUU!!! /shakes fist.

8/21: 165.8 Very pleased. Yesterday was Take Mom to the Movies day. I pre-planned salted, buttered popcorn & soda into my meal log. Didn't add salt to the popcorn after all (and tasted just fine without). Proud of my changes in thought patterns. My former self would have written off the entire day as a "cheat day," throwing in a movie hot dog and/or candy too.
8/22: 167.0 Tried going to the restroom one more time after morning weigh-in to drop me in the 166's. Tee hee, tee hee. I'm so silly! If this is as high as it goes this round, I'll be happy.
8/23: 167.2 I'm sure this has *nothing* to do with the leftover 7-layer dip, chips, and pies my roommate brought home from a fundraiser on Monday. The quicker I eat it, the sooner it will no longer be a temptation!
8/24: 165.8 Good deal. Average over last 10 days is now under 167. I'm loving the overall downward trend!

8/21 205.6 been stuck on 205 forever!
8/22 206.6- started T.O.M yesterday so that weight gain is probably from that. Did weight lifting and cardio. Fitbit said I burned 967 calories
8/23 206.6- did back and biceps. Burned close to 400 calories. Didn't drink enough water or eat enough.
8/24 205.6 did a hour of light cardio country heat. Counted my calories. Ate good, but should of drank more water
8/25 204.4 didn't workout yesterday but ate very good. Ate about 1500 calories
8/26 204 -did shoulders and counted calories at well.
8/27 203.2! Omg I've never been this low since 2012! So I watched what I ate around 1800 calories. Didn't workout bc I was too lazy to! But I didn't eat bad. Had an amazing eggplant zucchini noodle lasagna last night! Going to make that again for sure.
8/28 204.2 yesterday I watched what I ate was over about 200 calories. Walked for 50 mins
8/29 201.8 yesterday was awful! I got strep throat so I could barely swallow anything down without it hurting a lot! I ate 1000 calories and absolutely no exercise. Just laid on the couch the whole time.

8/21- 159.94 I doubt the weight is correct, but I'll take it for now. Exhausted today and almost caved to fast food for dinner. Instead, I chose a refrigerated soup and half a cheese sandwich for dinner. Hoping to get some food prep done tomorrow so the week runs easier.
8/22-159.72 Another tiring day here. Haven't had energy and my sleep schedule is off. Need to get back to taking my vitamins.
8/23- 159.5 My back pain has flared up, so I haven't done much more than take medication and sleep all day. Hoping tomorrow is a better day.
8/24- 159.94 Absolutely no real reason for the gain other than normal fluctuation. Remaining under calories. Hope the scale is nicer to me tomorrow.
8/25- 158.84 Tried the scale 4 different times to make sure my scale wasn't misbehaving. I would be thrilled if I could end this challenge at 158. Still maintaining my calories and have plans to make freezer meals this weekend.
8/26- 159.06 Tiny increase today, but still very happy with my progress overall. We had dinner out with friends (Chinese) I did my best to have a small portion because I had no ideas of calories. Also, it was difficult to judge calories since we were sharing several dishes. I served up a small plate all at once so I could visually see my portion size and did not go back for seconds. I think I did fairly well, but we shall see if the scale agrees.
8/27- 158.62 Looks like I probably did ok last night. Very pleased. Today has been quiet with nothing to report.
8/28-158.4 I had a very busy day and fell asleep at 6:30 and woke up around 9:30 with no dinner made. We ended up eating fast food. I managed to come in under my calories, but only because I was so busy I barely ate all day. Tomorrow is a new day.
8/29-158.4 By the time dinner is rolling around, I am exhausted. Frankly, I would rather just go to bed for the night than cook a meal. I think I need to increase my calories at lunch because I feel like I'm on empty.

Back on track. Final weigh-in day and I am pleased that my holiday baggage is going. Last week most of my weigh-ins were not on my own scale, but it served as a guide to how weight was fluctuating, i.e. Mostly up because of treats. One has to balance these things out, and not stress about them unduly.
I will work on reaching my goal next round.

21/8/2017: 158.6 Quite surprised. Had a huge Sunday dinner, but I had walked quite a lot, and did some hiking on a nearby moor.
22/8/2017: 161.5 (NMOS) Retaining water as my knee has flared up and is rather swollen. Barely got my 6500 steps. Slightly over basic calories. But still in the green, despite having wine with dinner last night, and not hydrating enough. C'est la vie!

24/8/2017: 163 (NMOS) This is mostly water weight. We are on holiday, and I choose to have a day off the merry go round yesterday. Cause and effect! Yesterday we went on a boat trip to Rathlin Island. Although under goal, and making as healthy choices as I could, I reckon my sodium intake was way up, and needless to say I didn't hydrate enough to flush it out. Then we went to the ice cream parlour when we got back to the mainland. On top of that we had Chinese takeaway, (more sodium!) as we were knackered after the day walking in the open air and no one wanted to cook. Today I will eat light and hydrate. PS: Did I mention the chocolate?
25/8/2017: 164 (NMOS) Another meal out last night. And didn't hydrate enough. I will be drinking like a fish today. Thank goodness I am going home tomorrow and all these temptations are removed. I will have to buckle down and get rid of this holiday baggage.
26/8/2017: Travelling
27/8/2017: 167.2 Back to my own scale. This is no surprise after a week of eating out and holiday treats.- I know I logged the food but it's difficult to gauge the extra calories added by chefs to 'enhance' the taste, undoubtedly over Goal most days.
- I prepared food for some of the days, but one doesn't want to be a party pooper when eating out as a 'treat' with family.
- Some of the weight will go quickly, because of all the sodium and water retention.
- I will be glugging water back for the few next to days to flush out the system.
- You pay a price when you over-indulge on rich food (in more ways than one).
- One thing I have learned during the last 3 years on here is that being fit and healthy is a lifetime commitment.
- You can over-indulge, but only occasionally, and the scale is your best motivation to make sure it doesn't get out of hand.
- Each day is a new day, and a new opportunity to choose your path.
