I am definitley in! This group has been such a motivation to me. Last round was really difficult between having the flu and TOM being here. I've also found it incredibly hard to do my 30 minutes of biking 5 days a week since school started back up. When I get home from work, I am completely exhausted from molding little minds all day, yet I still have to help my own 3 children with their homework, cook dinner, pack lunches, and it usually isn't until 8 that I get to sit down. I need to be able to figure out how to fit exercise back in. I thought about mornings, but I get up at 5:30 as is to get my oldest on the bus and as soon as he leaves, I wake up my youngest to get him out the door. (Staggard busing here.) When he leaves, I leave for work. Any suggestions?3

8/31 - 139.6 - I haven't been below 140 for months. Great if it's a whoosh but most likely a bit of dehydration as I didn't drink much water yesterday. Time will tell....

30/8/2017: 163 A week's holiday last round put me up a bit again, but have already lost 2/3 of it.
31/9/2017: 162 Yes!!! Goals ✅ Another one bites the dust. Overdid the sodium yesterday, but drank extra water to flush it out.

Main target this round (and most likely the next round) is to lose the weight I gained over the holidays...

I'll try this. I usually weigh myself every day, because it allows me to see how the choices I made the day before are affecting me. For example, I can always see if I've had dinner late (8-9pm) because I've been to the gym, or if I've had a bigger dinner than lunch etc. I only log my weight here once a week though, because obvs body fluctuations means if I logged my weight every day my chart would go wild lol.
I'm currently around 4-5kg (~9-11lbs) more than I want to be, so no huge changes for me food, fitness or weight wise. But it would be nice to have dropped 0.5kg in 10 days time

31/8 // 212.5 // Focusing on controlling those snacks at night. So far I've stuck to my meal plan 2/3 days this week. It's great until I get home. Burnt stir fry this morning so I'll have to buy lunch today. AND it's food market day. Will see how it goes. I actually dropped 1.7 lbs between Round 3 and Round 14. Maybe I'll set -1.7 as my goal for this round... slow and steady. WAVES to all who check in today.

Anyways, I also want to start body measurements. I have not lost even an ounce since I've started increasing my exercise and really watching what I'm eating. And it's been like 10 days.
Anyways I am 44 years old, 5 feet 4 1/2 inches and weigh 140 pounds at last weigh- in. As I've said I will weigh myself when I get home from work in a few hours.
Hubby I are going on a cruise on the 24th for our 24th anniversary and I want to feel and look healthier than I do now. My goal for these next 10 days or to be in the 130s.

Can you do anything the expedite making lunches? Are the kiddos old enough to stay home for 30 minutes? Do you have a significant other that can help? They could do their homework on their own while you bike ride and then you could check it when you get home. I know how hard it is. I'm a working mom too. Most days when I get to bike it's after 7 when my little guy goes to bed. Sometimes my husband will take our nighttime routine so I can go out early.

I'm not sure what a reasonable goal is, I've never done a 10-day challenge. Instead of a weight goal, I will focus on actions:
Log food every day
Run 5 X's in 10 days
Do strength training 3X's in 10 days
10K steps each day

Katy.. you can start at a baseline. Let's say you weigh 200, that can be 0 and if you lose you can put -1.5 lbs or gain you can move your marker up. That way you don't have to share your weight but you have a running total. Have a great round.6 -

Round 15 I would like to be in the 180s. I realize that eliminating the water pill from my medications, signalling better health, will probably usher in a water weight gain as my body gets used to normalcy again. I hope I deal with it gracefully... Welcome Back Friends!!
8/31 - 191.6 Well I knew it was coming, the weight gain from eliminating the water pill. I'm on a liquid diet from oral surgery, stacked 2 cord of wood yesterday and came in with a significant calorie deficit so this is definitely fluid in some capacity.6 -

30/8 - 197.2 - pulled a muscle or strained something anyway (really not sure how or what I have done but its painful and I am struggling to even walk or get a decent nights sleep, drank my water and stayed under my calories, due to being un-able to exercise I think the calories are even more important

It looks like I’ve gone up since starting this challenge but last round I reached my goal of 69 something however timing was bad and I had travel for work which included a lot of functions and drinking so I’m confident this ‘gain’ will come down this round after I get back into the swing of 5:2.

8/31 - 72.2kg (159.2) - a lot is water weight so trying not to stress. No exercise and have had a big couple of days of eating out and drinking due to work trip.
