Round 12: 174
Round 13: 171.4
Round 15: 166.8
8/31 166.8 Happy to be back in the challenge after being away for a week. Business trip to NYC and I lost a pound! I will attribute that to less alcohol, more water, and a LOT of walking!
9/01 168.1 Pretty sure I know what this is from. I want to say TOM, but not sure when that's happening due to hormones and heat waves in my body... ugh. I am hot, I am irritable, there is a heat wave coming this weekend... Yesterday I ate too much, did not track, and did not do any planned exercise. I did get my water in, though, and am drinking it like crazy today. It's a new day and so far, so good.
9/02 168.1 Went running on the treadmill this morning after a restless night of sleep. Went out to the coast to beat the heat! Avoided a lot of sweets from here to the beach and back. Stuck with my lemonade water (I have the little 5 calorie packets of Crystal Light lemonade water enhancers for when I am not motivated to drink my water and tempted to drink sweet icy things like Starbucks iced caramel macchiattos).

Round 15 Target weight: 161
30/8/2017: 163 A week's holiday last round put me up a bit again, but have already lost 2/3 of it.31/9/2017: 162 Yes!!! Goals ✅ Another one bites the dust. Overdid the sodium yesterday, but drank extra water to flush it out.2/9/2017: 163.8 I was expecting that. Goals ✅ apart from a minor blowout on chocolate after dinner. Drank lots of water early in the day, but forgot to combat the sodium in lunch/dinner later in the day. Live and Learn!
1/9/2017: 156.6 or 164.2 I got both readings this morning, and a whole lot in between. Scale is being temperamental. I moved it all over the joint, changed the batteries, still going haywire. Goals ✅ Did a lot of sitting at the computer, may not have hydrated enough. Let's see what tomorrow brings. Technology can be annoying!
2/9/2017: 162.2 Phew! Scale has settled down again! Goals ✅ Had a good workout 1st thing. Lots of water. Sticking to my goals and daily plan.

Ok. This is it. 10 day weight loss challenge. I was 193.8lbs on August 30. Hopefully, I'll be at 191.5 lbs by the end of this challenge.
8/31 - 192.7.-- great! I was kinda expecting to gain weight because I overate dinner, of all meals! Good rhing I still lost a pound. Will surely exercise more control today.
9/01 - 193.6 -- uh-oh! This is what I've been afraid of! The other night was a little bit over my allowance, bit last night was really a problem. And today I'll be going out for another gathering! Hope I can still manage.
9/02 - 193-- the struggle is real! I'm glad I didn't gain weight but not minding just 2 of my meals is really scary. Still halfway of my 191.5 target.
9/03 - 194.5 -- I woke up feeling heavy so I was expecting this. But it's still disappointing. I'm disappointed with myself. Just 3 days ago, I was 192.7, and now, 4th day on my challenge, I'm already 2lbs heavier. I hope this is just water weight. But on the good side, the long holiday weekend is over so I can finally go back to my usual diet.

Main target this round (and most likely the next round) is to lose the weight I gained over the holidays...
8/31: 65.9kg - same as yesterday
9/01: 65.5kg - in a good flow, accurate logging and firmly back in the (spinning) saddle
9/02: 65.3kg - can't wait to see the back of 65kg again
9/03: 64.8kg - wow, super happy with this, looks like I'm dropping it as quick as I put it on

Although this is a 10-day "challenge," we're really comparing each 10 day block (Round) with the previous. It has been really helpful for me to look at the overall statistics of each round vs. the next and watch the High/Low weight and Average over ten days go steadily downward.
I try not to focus on the individual days an fluctuations, but I am human and they can sometimes irritate me as well. Do your best not to get dragged down with the daily results and look at the overall picture.
Hugs!!!

thanks dear! *hugsback*
I know I shouldn't be discouraged by this, I know that really. But it really irritated me, hence the harsh words for myself? I've calmed down now and all's well. This is my first time doing this challenge so I don't have a baseline for myself to compare with. Still, I'm moving on. I want to be lighter and healthier. If the scales doesn't look good today, then there's still tomorrow! I'll continue with my diet, exercise, and healthy living. We can do this!4 -

R15 SW 229.8
Goal - 225
31/08 - 230
01/09 - 229.2
02/09 - 228.6 Yesterday i had a regular smoothie for breakfast at 6 am. I couldn't eat again until 6:20 pm due to work commitments. I was so busy that I couldn't stop to eat. If I had consciously decided to fast, I would have focused on food and failed. Yet because I was focused on getting through all my tasks, I looked past the hunger (which was not as bad as a normal "can't think until I eat" day) and for once food was not THE priority. I can look at this "experiment" a few ways. 1. All my life I am mentally unchallenged so food relieves the tedium. 2. Food is a fuel not a reward. 3. I can control the times I refuel by need and not desire. 4. Get passionate about life and not endure until the next scheduled fueling point. * I am addicted to flavours hence the doorway to overeating. If I like the flavour my brain goes "more please". Chocolate, stewed meats, homemade bread, peanut butter and cheddar cheese, cake and baked mac and cheese. Sigh.
So let's see how busy I can be today. I don't work on weekends so major challenge here.
03/09 - 228.8 actually rode my stationery for 30 minutes yesterday. Second time in last six months. Felt good.

10 Day Goal: Want to get into 157's.
Day/Weight/Comment
8/31- 158.4 Still holding steady here. I am beyond sick right now, with no actual care what I eat.
9/01- 158.14 This is probably from being sick not actual loss.
9/02- 157.3 Again due to illness not actual loss.
9/03- 156.86 Feeling better today, but still a bit weak. I expect to see a rise in my weight over the next few days now that I'll be eating regularly.

Short-Term Goal weight: To be 188.0 by Oct 19th. (A special day).
R14 (1st round for me) lost 3lbs
I plan to do the same for this round. I will start with my last post from R14:
Day/Weight/Comment
8/31 - 193 I pay dearly for cheat days. Even if I don't do too badly, I'm bloated for 2-3 days. I'm so sad that I'm not likely to see the number I wanted for my Birthday because of 1 weak moment. But I'll keep being good and see what happens. At least I'm not too far off my goal for Sept.
9/01 - 191.8 I'm ecstatic! (This was recorded this morning on my mom's scale which is more accurate than mine and it has made my day!!!)
9/02 - 193.6 I should have known this was coming. I was WAY over my calories yesterday because my friends all took me out to celebrate my Birthday. I had a shwarma plate (spicy meat with loads of rice and sauce etc) for the first time and ice cream for dessert. That would have been bad enough but THEN I ate fries for dinner with my husband. So I'm bloated and feeling gross this morning. I won't be able to weigh for the next 2 days due to the fact that I'm away. So I'm hoping to be back to my low number by then!
9/03 - No Scale Did ok with my calorie to exercise ratio. Ate way too many carbs though.

Round 15 I would like to be in the 180s. I realize that eliminating the water pill from my medications, signalling better health, will probably usher in a water weight gain as my body gets used to normalcy again. I hope I deal with it gracefully... Welcome Back Friends!!
8/31 - 191.6 Well I knew it was coming, the weight gain from eliminating the water pill. I'm on a liquid diet from oral surgery, stacked 2 cord of wood yesterday and came in with a significant calorie deficit so this is definitely fluid in some capacity.
9/01 - 192.4 Day 3 of liquid diet, I seem to be salt and carb loading. Today I can start soft foods for two weeks, at least I have more choices. When it's all over I'll have a brilliant smile, it won't erase the memories but it will erase the daily reminder of a time I would rather forget. On a better note, my bp without the water pill is still running around 110/70 and I see the Dr in 6 weeks, hopefully I'll be in a downward trend by then and he can eliminate more meds. Sorry for the grind guys... feeling the stress of the scale going up when I'm on point.
9/02 - 191.8 Went over on calories but still under maintenance, pretty sure that bottle of wine isn't included in a liquid diet. Crawled out of bed at 11:30 pm and staggered around the block in my pajamas because I was at 8900 steps, and I didn't want to break my 10000 step streak. Not sure if my loss is dehydration or that my fluids have finally levelled out.

I know those two 195 weights were flukes but I am chasing them anyway!!
SW, 212 (highest recorded weight) I've no idea what my highest weight was!
R09, SW 203.4 - mean weight - 201.4
R10, SW 200.4 - mean weight - 201.1
R11, SW 200.6 - mean weight - 200.2
R12, SW 199.4 - mean weight - 197.7
R13, SW 195.4 - mean weight - 198.4
R14, SW 195.0 - mean weight - 197.2
R15, SW 197.2 -
goal for R13 R14 R15 to get under and make being under 196lbs permanent
so it seems that getting under 196 (14 stone) is proving just as difficult at getting out of the 200's was!!
3rd round lucky!!!
UGW 140
30/8 - 197.2 - pulled a muscle or strained something anyway (really not sure how or what I have done but its painful and I am struggling to even walk or get a decent nights sleep, drank my water and stayed under my calories, due to being un-able to exercise I think the calories are even more important
31/8 - 198.8 - back in pain all day so I kept the calories low, its really all I can do at the moment!
01/9 - 197 - back in a lot of pain
02/9 - 198.4 - 6000 steps (pushing myself to see if it will help my back)
03/9 - 198.4 - OK so that didn't help!! now the pain has spread into my legs also -- rest it has to be!!

Day/Weight/Comment
8/31 258.8 - ate a little too many carbs yesterday i think
9/01 258.4 - not much to say, just doing all the stuff i need to do
9/02 258.6 - got fast food for dinner last night. to be honest, the fries were awesome tasting (but potatoes are always awesome in my book), but nothing else was really. didn't taste that good, and i didn't feel full or satisfied at all. as i eat better, i can literally feel that all that fast food stuff is just empty calories. i also didn't walk at all yesterday, but sometimes, i need the extra sleep. got the family some bowling balls, going to try to start adding in some weekend bowling for a little exercise.
9/03 285.4 - saturday is my "free" day so i am glad there is still a downward trend.

Day/Weight/Comment
8/31: 192.8 – didn’t eat enough yesterday. But still walked a lot.
9/01: 192.2 – Ate over cals yesterday. I made a big mistake the other day not eating enough, because I am so tired and drained now that I ate too much and didn’t work out. I am looking forward to this 3 day weekend!
9/02: 191.8 – Ate good calorie wise yesterday, over on the sugar, but treated myself! Walked our normal 3.25 mile route. Really happy with my results lately. I can’t believe I’m knocking on the 180’s door! I’ll have to buy some new clothes soon.
9/03: 191.4 – kind of a lazy day yesterday. I will get moving today.
