Being able to deadlift almost 40 lbs of sedated dog almost several times in a 20 min time span without getting breathless. I'm on day 47 of trying to eat healthier and while the weight has not changed much yet I am finding some tasks easier Congratulations to everyone else and their NS Victories!!20

When I purchased my Thinx undies set all of them were fitting quite snug as I think I may have had to get the largest size offered or that was the largest size they had in stock at the time I can't remember Well yesterday when I put on a pair that make up the set they were actually loose and they are worn for reasons where bloating is normal....HIP HIP HOORAY!!! #teamdroopydrawers25

wore a size 18 swim suit this morning!
the old one had lost its stretch and was getting really baggy. It was a size 20. In Jan I was in a size 22. I buy them in pairs from Sports Direct 2 for £16 to save money and last time they only had one 20, so I had to get an 18 and hope I'd fit.
And I do whoot!!34 -
My husband asked me to help him start lifting!!!! I've been waiting for a year and a half for him to start doing some sort of exercise and it's finally happening!!! He's really thin, so it's all a health thing, not a weight loss thing.
Downside: I have to get up at 5 with him instead of my usual 6...but it's worth it!36 -
I have hated exercise all of my life. I only enjoy walking if there is a "purpose" such as going somewhere specific or taking the dogs.
I've tried the gym, swimming & even running but I could only stick a routine for a couple of weeks before I'd cave.
6 weeks ago I happened to see a Zumba video (the amazing RefitRev lassies) on YouTube & it looked quite fun. I did 4 songs worth & was dripping in sweat but boy, did I have a good time! Slowly building myself up I was so proud each time I mastered a routine without having to watch the girls' every move & found when I work hard, I can even keep up with them! (Crazy In Love near offed me, I can tell you!)
As I'm typing this just now, I'm soaking sweat through my (new & smaller) sportswear having just completed 8 songs - giving it my all to the highest intensity I can...back to back. Grand totalling a full 30 minute workout!
Never ever did I think I would stick something out this long & STILL look forward to doing it everyday. If I plan some time & it gets scuppered, I ACTUALLY get disappointed!!
It's even spurred me into doing strength training twice a week too ..without complaint. Not to mention I have the stamina for longer doggie walks too. My clothes are all too big & I am starting to see muscle tone under the fat all over. I don't know how many inches I've lost, but since I joined MVP 23 days ago I've gone down 2-3 on all the main body parts. A drastic overhaul of my diet has helped tremendously too & after ironing out some tweaks, I never feel hungry or deprived which I feel so fortunate for.
I know this is non scale victories, but I've lost 16lb in these past 6 weeks (7 while on MFP) & for the first time, I feel like I can keep going. My DP is me 3 years ago at my lightest in recent years. I was happy to be there but in reality, still needed to lose a lot more weight. Instead of keeping on, I let it all slide. I'm now just 3lb off that DP weight & this time, I REALLY want to go all the way. It's a long road & a hecka lotta pounds(about 100!!) but at the moment, I really feel I can do it!
So sorry for the long post, but i really am on cloud 9 today & I've not shared what I'm doing with anyone in my life except my husband. Guess I'm just worried the pressure will cause me to fail (for the umpteenth time), so if you read all of this drivel, thank you so much. It really does mean a lot!
Edit: oop & don't worry, I'm away for a shower now haha!

I went shopping yesterday and was able to be pickier than normal since I didn't want to settle for clothes that didn't look great. I found a lot of clothes and was happy with how I looke in them (and most of them were a size small!) I bought a dress that was a little too tight but I'm confident that I will fit into it soon.22

I work away from our main office and haven't been back since last year. I arrived yesterday for a visit. I was pacing around my office on the phone, and one of the women I'm friendly with stopped by. Her jaw actually dropped, and then she gave me a huge smile and pantomimed a sexy hourglass shape with her hands. I laughed right into my conference call.
When I got off the call I found her to say hello, and she said she had come looking for me because the new receptionist had seen me earlier that morning and had asked who the woman is "with the short brown hair and GREAT boobs" (complete with hand gestures). And even though my friend didn't even know I was going to be in town, she accurately guessed she was talking about me. Hilarious.33 -
Saw my neurologist yesterday. He said I looked like a completely different person, and that my weight loss made me look so much younger! I think this might be the only time I have had a non-biased party say something without prompting this far. This makes me feel better when I have overweight family members telling me that I am too thin. I am almost at maintenance!!
Also, I have become friends with this woman I work with and she just realized that I am not new, and that we worked side by side last year. I think she was a little bit embarrassed when I said the reason she might not recognize me is because I was heavier. Being overweight didn't just change my looks, it changed my personality. I was so quiet!36 -
Completed Day 1 of Couch to 5k! (Third attempt, third time's the charm!)41

Yesterday a coworker I haven't seen in about 2 months said "Are you losing weight??" at a staff meeting!
Someone noticed! I don't always, but someone did!32 -
I did the full 1.2 mile practice swim for the half IM relay I'm doing in a couple of weeks yesterday and even shaved a bit of time off my pace.32

Down a notch on my belt this morning! woooo34

Yesterday my husband underwent surgery to remove skin cancer - surgery went well, no skin graft required after all, and he's doing well today although not on top of things yet - but yesterday was a long, long, stressful day of waiting for me, in the hospital at 5 am and not home until 7 pm. And I successfully resisted the urge to throw my own health concerns out the window and Eat All the Things. The hospital cafeteria had calorie counts and carb counts on the buffet entries, which made it easy to select items within my calorie budget which would help me keep my blood sugar under control, and I brought healthy snacks. I even got in some exercise - I took a walk around the building and did some bodyweight exercises in the room while he was in surgery - which also helped with my blood sugar and stress levels. I logged everything and finished the day with 22 calories to spare, and my blood glucose was within safe levels all day. And I managed to take care of my husband too! Stress eating is a big pitfall for me so I feel good about myself, and I'm looking forward to life being normal again soon.62

I just walked (briskly for me) for 10 minutes without stopping and climbed two sets of stairs. This from a woman who takes the elevator no matter if it's one floor or ten.29

Yesterday I binged on candy at work (free snacks are the worst). I've been limiting carbs as they are my weakness, but this past weekend I went to an amusement park and the Renaissance Faire, and definitely overindulged (less than I would have a year ago, but still way more than I planned). And that mindset carried over into yesterday.
I was on my own for dinner and so very tempted to just get fast food. I was already over my calorie allowance, why not go crazy?? I thought about it for an hour at least.
BUT --- I went home and heated up a TJs pizza veggie burger and called it a night.
You'd think after that weekend and sugar binge I'd be really disappointed in myself. That's where I'd have fully fallen off the wagon in the past.
But I'm really proud of myself for reigning myself back in and getting back on track.39 -

*Kitten* me! Not only is this a great NSV it's a spectacular sight! Do you mind sharing the location, @gradchica27 ?

Seriously. Where is this???2 -
- I've figured out what makes me happy when exercising. Music! I love keeping beat with my "running".
- My heart rate is down from high 170's at a moderate pace on the elliptical to low 160's in just two weeks.
- I walked around Walmart today briskly trying to find someone and wasn't winded at all by the end. Before I would have been panting and trying not to look like the walking made me breathe so heavily!

I just love this!! The RevFit ladies (and a few other YouTube channels like it) were my re-introduction to fitness! And then it also lead to strength training and other changes! Dancing to those songs gave me such a realistic goal to pursue (I would do the same song on repeat until I felt I could actually follow along decently) and also just made the 30mins of exercise fly. Yay!! I'm so happy for you!!17 -
