One thing you love about yourself.

I love my ability to provide for my children on my own. I defy the negative stereotype of "single mother". I provide for my two children with the most minimal amount of child support (about $50 total this past month). I've taken my kids on a Disney Cruise, a trip to Turks and Caicos, and many other adventures in the last few years. We go to Yosemite every year, and I try to take them many other places. I have provided soccer, gymnastics, tennis, and other activities for them. I make sure they have nice clothes and shoes, and healthy food to eat every day. I've been on my own with the kids since my daughter was a baby (full custody), and feel proud of the job I've done. I earned my masters degree last year while working full time. I am far from a perfect mom, but I feel proud of my ability to provide my kids with the same life experiences as many kids who come from two parent families in our community.

I love my resilience. Sometimes I don't really feel like getting back up or putting myself back together but I always do and somehow manage to make improvements along the way.
