Anyone need to lose over 100lbs?

Just starting out. I have over 140 to lose. Anyone else feel like they have a huge goal to accomplish? Let's help each other! I need accountability partners.

I was at 335 two years ago.
I'm 296 now and I want to get to 150 in the next 18 months.6 -
I right here with you folks but I started out at 280 now 275 and I want to get down to 150 so I have a long way to go. And I have MS which makes it sometimes hard.3

Me, me, pick me.
I started at 308 lbs and am now at 280. It really is a huge chunk of weight to lose but I've split it up into smaller mini goals to make it feel less overwhelming.8 -
It takes as long as it takes.
Try not to pigeon hole your goal into a time frame.
You can set yourself up for a fall.
(It has taken me 2 years to lose 90 pounds).
Just remember, to make a lot of little changes over a lifetime. Nothing to strict. It is difficult to stick to if you feel you can't have a life.
This is a lifetime journey. Every day.
The longer you walk this path, the more you will learn about yourself, how to listen to your body and your confidence will grow the more weight you lose.
Just start with dolly steps, before you start sprinting.

It feels like a big task I started at 318lb's and last Friday (my weigh day) I came in at 225lb's it is doable takes time one pound at a time feel free to add me if you wish16 -
Currently 17 stone 6 lb. My goal weight. 14stone 0lb. Not sure how many lbs that is but it's 3 stone 6lb to loose.0

I have been overweight my entire life. I was always the heaviest in school. I was 300lbs at 16. I was 425lbs at 25. I am currently 187lbs and maintaining for the last year. It took about 4 years to lose the weight. It came with lots of ups and downs. I would lose it, then gain it, then lose it.. etc. I have found a good place with my calories and my level of activity. Toss in my cheat day and I maintain pretty well. +/- 5lbs. I didn't do any weird diets or surgeries. Just healthy eating and being active.
It's just accountability. If you are not accountable for yourself then you cannot achieve victory that lasts. I am sorry if this is controversial but losing weight is easy. I was 425lbs and I lost 20lbs my first week just because I stopped drinking pop! Keep that trend going, cut the bad foods from your diet and anyone can lose weight. Simple CICO.
Since losing the weight. I get more attention from people. Not just sexually but in general people will be more open and willing to talk to me now that I am not obese. I feel more confident. I take better care of my appearance and hygiene. I am more active because I want to be, instead of because I have to be.
I went from a shirt size XXXXXL to a S/M. I went from pant size 50x30 to a 32x34.
I know it's cliche to say but if I can do it, anyone can. If anyone needs help or advice you can feel free to message me.

I started out with 100 lbs to lose, i'm down 25 so far in 3 months.4

I started in January at 300 lbs, I'm down almost 70 now. I'd like to lose at least 30 more and get below 200 and then reassess.5

I started thinking losing 100 lbs would be impossible for me. I've lost 126 so far and aiming for 15-20 more. You can do it!7

Thanks for sharing your story! I am around 250 and I often think, "how did this happen without me noticing?!?!". I agree that all it takes is accountability and being responsible for your actions. However, I do think it's hard. I keep telling myself that being overweight is harder though.... the hard work is worth it!!! Losing 110lbs feels almost impossible right now, but hearing stories like yours helps me push through and believe in my ability to be consistent and accountable.1

I keep getting asked what my short term goals are. I'm like, I have no idea. Eat less, move more, get smaller. Lol that's all I can focus on.0 -
Me! I was at 329, now at 307. When I started MFP I was at 260, so have a bit of a yo yo problem but this time I am really serious. I was diagnosed with diabetes and I'm not messing around anymore.4

Hey there! Have been huge since I was a kid and did multilple tries and failures so far. I started out at 360,4 and am down to 308,6 about a year after. My initial goal is to be under 220 around this time next year and if I somehow ever manage to do that, then I may possibly try to reach 140s (yeah not possible).0

So I have been on and off MFP for several years... and the weight has come and gone, and come back again. As of July 2017 I weighed in at 372. I decided to join a gym and get a personal trainer (5 sessions a month). I will say it was the best money I have spent on weight loss so far. My training adjusts my workouts and food intake each week to ensure that I do not adapt to quickly. I am down to 348.5 as of this morning. I am not on any special programs or special diet pills. I just get in some type of exercise everyday... and I mean good heart beat raising exercise, and have been eating healthy. And by healthy I mean I pretty much cut out dairy and heavy starches, not the vegetable kind, but the pasta, potato, and rice kind. And the weight has been coming off.
I will say that I do use one product which is protein powder from True Nutrition (I swear that was not an advertising plug) because who wants to eat 30 oz of chicken breast a day to get in their protein.
I am always looking for people to be motivated with and even just lend and ear and a piece of advice to every once in a while because sometimes that is all anyone ever needs.

I have a lot to lose too. I lost 40 pounds before but now I've gained it all back. I will lose it and keep it off this time! Small goals.. first 30 pounds and then I'll go from there.1

I've been as big as 300 and as small as 160. Im at 247 now and my goal is 135. Ive logged in for over 760 days so im not going anywhere. Anyone is welcome to add me.4

Hi, I always seem to begin diets well and lose about a stone but then put it all back on - and more. I've never used these discussions as support so I'm hoping this will help have the long term goal due to the amount of weight I need to lose. It's good to see it can be done.2

i have lost 150lbs in the last 19months and still have just over 100lb more to lose. (my starting weight was 456lbs)

I started at 360+ (I didn't have a scale that weighed higher than 300 and this was my highest known weight at the doctors, it was likely a bit higher) and was down to 205 before getting slack and then getting pregnant with my second baby
I'm at 250 right now and am going to get down to 145 ish in the next few years.
Life happens, so long as you keep trying, you will do great!2 -
Hey there. I started at 290 lbs, and I want to be at least at 160 lbs (my lowest weight I've ever been at), but I would like to be at 155 lbs. So far I've lost about 20 pounds. The hardest part of dieting for me is sticking to it after 2 weeks (it'd be about the time I'd reach my first plateau and get frustrated), but this time I stuck to it and I'm not looking back.1

U are all so inspirational! I have at least 100 lbs to lose. My strategy this time is 10 lbs so it seems reasonable with lots of opportunity for success!0
