    I walked in the room this morning and my Baby Boy yells "I'm 6!"

    Omg :cry: I can't believe he's no longer 5 and will never be 5 again... Glad I got his ear pierced a few days back so he can say now, that he's had it pierced since 5yrs old :lol:

    It's not the same but I definitely felt that way when my younger sisters were getting older. They were so damn cute when they were little kids and I didn't want them to grow up but while it's different, seeing them grow and mature has been really great and it's been really nice to bond on a different level.

    Yeah that's what I'm thinking, just wish it didn't all happen so fast!

    this always makes me smile:

    There were 3 moles living in a hole in the ground. One day, they wake up to the smell of breakfast cooking. The first mole sticks his head out of the hole and says "hey, I smell biscuits!" The second mole sticks his head out of the hole and says "and I smell bacon!" The last mole tries to stick his head out of the hole, but gets stuck behind the other two, so he says, "All I smell is...molasses."

    Have been nursing several injuries (calf and ankle) that have prevented me from competing in a 5k this weekend. However, this morning, I went out and ran and felt pretty good (not good enough to compete though).
    But it still felt great to run again!

    my child is a smartie pants but doesn't do well in conventional learning environments but we got his results from his standardized tests and he scored completely average so we'll take it.
