Stick to reading labels, if you can’t pronounce it don’t buy it, bullet proof coffee is life! Don’t be so hard on your self in the beginning, log all of your food! Buy, a scale, eat greens every day. People don’t understand keto so don’t listen to them with their concerns about high fat. Educate them. And research! The more you know the more successful you will be! I sent you a friend request! Keto has two types of people. Those who keep it simple.. meat. Veggies. Fat. And those that take chances cause without variety they will fail.. Keto Lasagna, shrimp alfredo, cheesecake, egg noodles, that recipe that looked totally awesome online and was definitely not keto but I bet with a few modifications can be!

Cheat meals aren’t worth it some times haha, I ate half a ice cream snickers after 6 weeks keto, and thought I was going to die. Haha2

Add me as well! I'm on Day 9 of keto, and down 7 pounds. I love to cook, so that is helpful in preparing yummy meals. I'm a firm believer in fail to plan, then plan to fail. It's definitely a WOE that requires a little forethought.5

I'm really intrigued into this keto way because I suffer really bad when I have carbs.
My whole body hurts and my stomach is always bloated.
Plus I feel really down in the dumps.

read: The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Living by Phinney and Volek
read: Why We Get Fat and What To Do About It by Gary Taubes
Listen to podcasts:2 keto dudes and Livin' La Vida Low Carb
also read some of the free stuff on dietdoctor.com (they also have some free videos I like)
you also can't be into keto literature / websites very long before you run into stuff on intermittent and extended fasting by Dr. Jason Fung.

I started keto last Monday (9/25/17) - my doctor recommended it for weight loss. I weighed in on the 25th at 224.2. I weighed in yesterday, Monday (10/02/17), at 220. I joined a facebook group that his been incredibly helpful! For anyone doing keto, please feel free to friend me. I'm not sure if it's just the honeymoon stage, but I am loving this WOE and can see myself doing this long-term as a lifestyle (probably with a couple tweaks, mainly fruit!). Having a community is always helpful and fun!8

I’m sticking with it I’m in love. Don’t crave carbs at all, I’m so much more aware of what foods I’m putting in to my body, and I’m awake to all of the chemicals they use for packaged foods. It’s amazing to me.

So today is my first time having a go at keto and I'm pleasantly shocked.
I downloaded a app which I did pay £6.99 for because it has rave reviews.
The app is amazing if anybody wants to check it out, it's called ketodiet and the pic is of a purple fish.
Today I've only eaten a 8oz sirloin with blue cheese and some king prawns. I'm not hungry at all yet and not craving sugar like I normally do.
I'm going to keep at this to see what results I get.
Up to now I'm very happy :-)6 -

Question....do you believe you can do this WOE forever? Please be honest. I was going to try Keto/low carb but I don't think it's realistic to believe I'm never going out for pizza/pasta/tacos etc? or go to an amusement park with my kids and get ice cream bars or fun snacks? I' d love to hear your honest opinions - multiple people please.4

Do you exercise as well ... I am trying to do the low carb as well.
Some times prob not as much as I should, I do walk every day. When I do excerszie I do weights2 -

Yes it most definitely can be. I mean we’re all human, I’ve been out with my friends drinking and ate a slice of pizza. It happens. When u go with the kids get a burger get no bun And special sauce.
Sometimes I’ll sneak a fry or two. Sometimes you just have to get that little taste to keep your mind happy.
99.9% of the time I do keto, and I plan sticking with it, it’s not really hard, there are alternatives for things like rice, pasta, And breads.
