It is just time. My goal is to log in daily and make this a priority. My walk starts at 830pm after kids leave for school. I have a super sedentary job but I work at home and control the food. I have no excuses. I have change my calorie intake however as 1200 is too low. 1450 is my real optimal count. Off to figure that out.

Best of luck to you! You can do this! Just remember to be kind to yourself and start over on bad days, because you'll have them. I have a lot of them still, and I've been doing this for almost a year.1

The most important thing you need to know as a newby is that weight fluctuates naturally. It goes up and down every day REGARDLESS of how much you ate the previous day. So don't freak out if you ate at a deficit and the next morning the scale goes up. I've been logging in MFP for 1.5 years. My weight drops only twice a month. This is in fact not so unusual. Might happen to you too. Might not. So don't dispare if you see a jump in the scale numbers next time you weigh. Don't reach for the Nutella jar just cos your weight went up. It's just water weight.5
