Well, since the sole reason for having sex is for procreation, I guess its the sex.5

Knowing I will die alone in a nursing home with no one to bear name nor my legacy.
Silence is nice, though.1 -
I'm childless and I still never have a clean house. Then again, I do have four dogs and I'd much rather my house be littered with dog hair and dog toys than children's toys.5

Before kids my wife and I had quite a bit of disposable income and we'd do random things like decide to go to Honduras for a week to scuba dive or hop on a quick 90 minute flight to San Diego for a long weekend.
Before kids my wife and I used to be able to have an actual conversation...now a would be 5 minute discussion/conversation takes about half an hour or more with the constant interruptions for vitally important things like a different Paw Patrol episode or, "look...I colored this thing."
Before kids we didn't have to work our schedules around someone being home with the kids while the other is out doing something like going for a run or a ride.
Before kids I could walk through my house without ever stepping on a lego or tripping over some toy that was left in the middle of the hallway or dining room or whatever.
Before kids I was always punctual wherever I went...now it's a crap shoot and I have to get moving a lot sooner. It's annoying to have to take 15 minutes for something that should take about 30 seconds. Strapping kids into car seats and boosters seats has also gotten very old.
Before kids I could just get up in the morning and get ready and go to work...now I have to get ready, get them ready, drive the opposite direction from my office to drop them off at school and then finally off to work.
I miss having before kid $$$
....Love those two boys though...wouldn't trade 'em for anything...

I imagine my favorite things about not having kids involve:
1. Not having to find a babysitter every time I want to go out.
2. Not having to revolve dinners around kid-friendly meals/restaurants.2 -
I value sleep, solitude, and being able to do my own thing when I want. While I love children generally, I am really REALLY okay being childless by choice and being able to put me first 90% of the time.7

This says it perfectly for me. I love children - especially my niece and nephews - but I love more having my own life.1 -
I like at least 8 hours sleep...0

I don’t remember my life before kids.
My mind won’t let me revel in past blissful kidless memories, that’s how bad kids are.2 -
Taking a shower without anybody knocking at the door. Every.single.time. To ask something that is not even important.1

All the above ^^^^^0

Never knew how annoying the word " why" can get. It's evil!0

Not having to plan dinner around picky eaters.
At Christmas I don't have to buy the latest expensive toy.

Sleep!! And not stepping on mega blocks.2

Kids are older so getting small glimpses of my life again. Nice to be able to just leave and NOT have to drag them around.1
