this makes me feel like I've made no progress, as the previous round I had several days at 175. But It's probably still just water weight from vacation. I also am having a tough time getting back in the game mentally. I want to eat salty and sugary things, not fruits and vegetables! Ok.. enough whining. Plan for today is to stick with the plan. Measure my portions and drink all my water.
10/11 176.2 scale is moving in the correct direction. Another 1.2 and I'll be back to my low weight of last round. I really didn't think it would take this long! But oh well keep moving on! I did have a (large) glass of wine last night. Still within my calories so no problems there. Hit the gym this AM and ran a mile, then my weight program (Strong Curves) and had an amazing bowl of oatmeal with peaches, flax, chia, and protein powder. .so yummy!
10/12 175.6 I'm still not down to last week's low, but at least the scale is in the right direction

10/10 - 223.4 - moving in the right direction again. Hoping this continues. I think I have myself back on track again.
10/11 - 222.0 - had a good workout last night. Did more jogging than I have in years (1/2 mile walk then 1/2 mile jog for two miles; third mile was 3/4 mile walk then 1/4 mile jog - I got tired); lowest number so far so hoping it sticks
10/12 - 221.4 - I'm really happy to see the number continuing to go down. My daily tracking app isn't registering any loss yet, but if this keeps up I know it will. Nose to the grindstone. Another new low!

Well lets try this again I was part of round 6 and 7 was doing good. Nice weather hit and I fell off track. So hopefully I can stick with this again and stay motivated.

10/10. 219.9 - gained 2.7lbs over thanksgiving weekend. Im ready to lose that fast and then 2-3 more pounds. Gym and walk today. Within calories. Good day!
10/11 - 218.4.. in the right direction. 1.2lbs to go to be back at my lowest. Gym and food prep today!
10/12 - 217.3 - 0.1 more to go until my lowest. Out for a walk. No gym today.

10/10 123.7. Went over calories by more than 700 calories yesterday. Spent 6.5 hours on my feet with my oldest at Legoland.
10/11 122.1 !!! Finally body is responding to the exercise and calorie tracking. I did 2 kickboxing classes yesterday. Had about a 500 calorie deficit to make up for yesterday. Starting to get really sick, so I may have to take some rest days. =(
10/12 123.7 Sick, so I barely walked 5,000 steps last night and ate over calories.

10/10 - 177 - And the beat goes on! I'm pretty okay with this since I made it through the Thanksgiving weekend (Canadian) relatively unscathed and am embarking on a Whole 30. Looking forward to good things!

Feeling pretty good about myself. Walking around all braggy in my own brain LOL! I've worked out hard for three days and met all my goals thus far. Yes, it's only three days but still...
In the past, after 3 days of doing T25 or P90X3, I would give up and find something that was more "comfortable", meaning I wouldn't push myself as hard. I'm always full of excuses in my head. I don't want to work too hard and be too sore. My plantar fasciitis might act up. I'm tired. I'm this, I'm that.
I realize now that all I've been doing is getting heavier every year, month by month. I'm certainly not getting any younger, so I have to get this gone for good now. No more putting it off.

Well last round was a bust. My son was in the hospital for a week (Crohns) and tracking was the last thing I was thinking of. On the plus side, I kept my weight steady. The last time he was in I self solaced with food and gained 20 lbs over a couple of months time. I'm still working on getting it off!! So here I am again. Looking for some downward (weight) movement.

Goal R19: Last round was tough (lax tracking, going over calories, less exercise, generally not giving a *kitten* -- though I did keep walking). My goal this round is to track religiously and eat and drink mindfully (slowly, tracking hunger cues, eating less restaurant and processed food). No weight goal this time because I need to focus on getting my head back in the game.

Fantastic! Amazing transformation in a short period of time. You have obviously been putting the effort in. Way to go!!
39 pounds is equivalent to a mid-size microwave plus an average human brain. Awesome!

10/10 --- 192.4 (I was down to 191, but gained a little over the past 2 weeks)
10/11 ---- 191.2 I am trying to follow the South Beach Diet to get myself motivated again, but I can't do completely without carbs. Even though I am on Phase 1, and suppose to just keep away from carbs for 1 week, I am more just using this as a guideline as to what to eat (2 cups veggies lunch and dinner and protein, and 1/2 c veggies and protein at breakfast). We did have popcorn last nite, but I was OK with that. I am now back to where I was on Oct 1st!
10/12 --- 189.6. I am FINALLY in the 80s!!!! Yesterday my day I did not eat what I had planned, but I am practicing "mindful"eating, and being aware of what I eat. And I think the main thing is the water -- trying to drink more water.

@hjeppley Many years ago, LONG ago, I discovered that if I ate breakfast with my kids (they're current 44 & 46) I was hungry ALL. DAY. LONG! Now I have my "bulletproof" coffee and don't want to eat until at least 11AM.
