    If you don't want to do IF until lunch, consider meats and maybe some cheese if you tolerate it well. If you're open to it, soft tofu can be scrambled or firm tofu can be fried - I used to be vegetarian and based on a lot of reading I did afterward, I'm now wary of excess soy in diets, especially those of men. To each their own though!

    When I lived in Egypt beans were breakfast on a lot of days. Yay fuul medammes!

    My breakfast proteins of choice are either cottage cheese or Greek yogurt.

    I like them with veggies or fruit. Current favorite breakfast is cottage cheese with butternut squash and avocado. Don't knock it until you've tried it.
