I agree with one of the dad's. I respect all women and don't just see you all as sexual objects (you have minds and personality). I know all women want to feel and be attractive. I just think it's admirable to be beautiful to your spouse and that is all the aspiration that's needed.

It wouldn't offend me. But it's not my goal. I want to look good, but I don't really need to be turning heads all over town. But that's just me. I've been called one before, back when I was in better shape, and I wasn't offended.

I'm not a mom, but if I were/ when I become one, I wouldn't be offended. I do think the phrasing is tacky though, and would prefer to be called simply hot/ gorgeous/ etc.

EDIT: The thing with terms like MILF is, I don't think people actually mean what it literally means; they throw it around when they simply mean "hot" for moms.

If they actually MEAN they want to have sex with me, then that's a different story and I'd rather they keep it to themselves!!

It actually makes me feel more comfortable thinking about it like this. I mentioned having it said to me once, and it made me lose a bit of respect for the guy. But now thinking about it like this, and the fact that he's a college kid, I think at least in his case, you are right. It was just his way of saying I'm hot. But would rather hear that than MILF though, lol.

I actually don't find MILF an offensive thing. What I do find offensive is women who refer to themselves as MILF's. Now maybe people will understand that the comment on my profile is sarcasm!

I find the phrase offensive for two reasons. First, because it contains the f word. Secondly, because it implies promiscuity and extra-marital sex.
    Not all moms are married.

Granted. But then you could say MILK (mom I'd like to kiss) or MILM (mom I'd like to marry).

I guess depends on the context. The way most women take it is as a compliment. But there are some "vdeos" that have been done that a MILF videos. No thank you for those, but I definately will take the compliment!
  • As a dad, I'd be offended being called a DILF. It's offensive, rude, and vulgar.

    liar.

    LOL

MILM (mom I'd like to marry).
The first thing I think when I see an attractive woman is "Boy, I sure would like to marry her."

Kiss could be acceptable, I guess, but, um, yeah, calling a woman a "MILK" is probably going to get you punched in the face. Or it should.

Also, I should point out, It's not "Mom I Like to F—," it's "I'd" ... I there's a pretty big difference saying you'd like to and saying that you do ;)

Wow, I guess I'm really in the minority but I would be offended. Maybe it's because I'm a very conservative Christian but no matter how attractive I was, I wouldn't want someone to say or think that about me. I just think it's disrespectful.

i'm with you on the disrespectful part. i wouldn't be offended, but i don't find it particularly flattering. i hope my boys' friends never make comments about wanting to have sex with me, especially around my sons. yuck.

I guess it would depend on who was saying it? But as a young, single mom, I'm pretty sure I'd take it as a compliment. I'm gonna have to get back in the dating game someday, so being a MILF may come in handy.

You are right about the comment out loud. I'd like for people to look at me that way, but saying it out loud would be kind of inappropriate. Especially with the kids around. But, I'm working on it. Can't wait to be back in my body.

I guess I'm the prude in this bunch that needs to have the stick removed. :ohwell:

Nah - On the one hand, it's nice to know the opposite sex finds you attractive, but even when I was single without kids, I would not have picked the guy who came up and said -- "Hey, I'd like to **** you". Even though you know that's what they're thinking, they could at least have some manners about it.
  • I think its nice, in a perverted way. Did I mention my mind might live in the gutter?

Hahahaha @ the above comment  ......I'm on the fence with it...I think it depends on who it comes from....Being 33, i would cringe if i heard it come out of the mouth of an 18 yr old, or a 50 yr old, lol...... I mean no offence to people those age, but it would feel creepy to me, lol
