It can really get to you, this I know...That is why I try to weigh myself 2 maybe 3x a month....Stress can cause weight gain, so maybe you need to step away from the scale just for a bit...no pressure.0 -

I am up a bit this morning, that is normal for me. My progress graph looks like a saw blade, but it slopes lower over time. I used to be upset on the upticks, but now it's just how it is.
My body hates letting go of the weight. That's how I got here, so I just have to be patient and keep within my calorie goal and eventually it goes down.
Hang in there, we'll get there!

I went ahead and joined the gym last Wednesday (it truly is my escape and actually enjoy working out). Toward the end of the week, I wasn't consuming my regular 1,560 calories and I got scared because I know when you don't take in your needed intake, your body can be thrown off and thinking you're starving it. I would say 3 out of those 7 days it was like that but I just wasn't hungry--bottom line was that I went from 167.4 to 168 and I know it wasn't substantial but to me it was a gain none the less. The bright side of all of this is, is that I lost 0.5 inch from my waist and 1 inch from my thighs, so it's not terrible. I have to look at the positive I guess. I just want to see results at least by the 3 month mark but I'm so determined and a tad impatient. Just hoping that I can reach my October goal of 5 lbs and don't want to be discouraged if I don't.

Note to self don't drink a ton of water the day before weigh in... Fluctuated by 4 lbs in 2 days. Water and too much salt is not a great mix. Hope to flush out by Saturday.1

I like to weigh myself in the morning usually, but I think as long as you weigh yourself around the same time every week/however much you check your weight you'll be fine. I say drink a ton of water if you want to, it'll all go away anyway right?monokochan wrote: »Checking in for week 3.
