Hi I am having 1200 calories a day but I am stuck in a bit of a rut of same foods. Any ideas where I can get weekly menus for 1200 per day please

    You could delete 200 calories' worth of things from each week's menu, I suppose.

    Feel free to add me and check out some of my recipes. I have a small farm so I raise, grow or hunt for a large portion of my food. Here is a low calorie clean healthy meal my family loves.

    Turkey sausage stuffed peppers
    Servings 4

    7 Ingredients

    • 8 oz, Turkey Breakfast Sausage
    • 1 Jalapeno Pepper
    • 1 White or Yellow Onion (diced)
    • 2 tbsp. A1 Steak Sauce
    • 4 large Peppers ( yellow, green or red
    • 1 cup, Royal Blend Rice Blend ( or your personal favorite )
    • 1 cup sliced, Mushrooms, white, raw

    -Cook sausage, onion, jalapeno, mushrooms and A1 in a pan.
    -Cook rice as directed.
    -Cut tops off peppers and remove all seeds. If you like your peppers soft boil them for 4-5 minutes. If you prefer them a little crunchy oil boil them 2-minutes.
    -Mix rice and sausage mix and stuff peppers and enjoy.

    Here is a little higher calorie dinner. You can substitute the goat meat for lamb if it is not available. If goat meat is available I HIGHLY recommend it.

    Spicy Goat Curry

    • 3 lb(s), Goat Meat (Raw)
    • 1 tsp, Ground Cumin
    • 2 tsp, Cayenne Pepper
    • 2 tsp., Coriander, Ground
    • 0.25 tsp (1.2g), Kosher Salt
    • 1 Onion
    • 2 jalapenos
    • 2 cup, chopped, Peppers, sweet, red, raw
    • 1 Cup, Chopped, Yellow or White Onion
    • 4 Red Potato
    • 2 cup, Royal Blend Rice Blend
    • 6 tbsp, Spices, curry powder
    • 3 cups water

    - Take chopped goat meat, cumin, coriander, salt, cayenne pepper, 4 tbsp curry, 1/2 cup chopped onions, diced jalapeno and marinate over night.
    - Brown the meat mixture.
    - Add rest of vegetables and spices **(except potatoes)** with 2 cup of water and simmer for 60 minutes.
    - After 60 minutes add chopped potatoes and 1 or 2 cups water depending on desired consistency and simmer for another 60 minutes or until potatoes are slightly firm.
    - Start to cook rice in separate pot.
    - Pour curry over rice and ENJOY!!!

    1,200 is the bare minimum calories for a woman on MFP. It's possible your goal is too aggressive.

    1000 is the minimum for women on mfp but I agree, to aggressive.

    I believe 1200 is the minimum calorie goal they will give a woman. 1,000 is when they will start to warn you about undereating.
