Lose 5lbs + in November 2017

I'm going to give this my best! I hope I'm not too late to join- I meant to declare my commitment to this challenge last week I'm now at the heaviest I've been for a long time, and had enough of feeling like a lump. I'm typically a lurker, but if anyone wants support let me know- I log in every day
I normally weigh every Monday.
Starting weight - 160.4Ibs

I totally forgot to check in on Sunday! I did weigh in (I weigh daily and average weekly) so I'll use Sunday's numbers today.
I'm officially in a holding pattern. I'm where I was a month ago. I cannot lie, I'm a bit discouraged... but there's nowhere else to go but onward so while I'm not happy about the lack of progress, it's not a reason to regress.
What concerns me is that back in 2000 when I lost about 50 lbs, I got stuck. I flirted with 195 but popped back to 202 and was stuck there. No matter what I did, that's where I stayed... I managed to stay there for about 13 years but I never could stay below 200, and I have concerns that I'm going to hit that wall again.
It's better to be stuck at 202 or whatnot, than 243... or higher... but there's just something psychologically discouraging about not being able to get to ONEderland, let alone stay there.
I'm not going to let it stop me from trying, but this current stall isn't helping my angst about it. Just putting that out there, because I'm sure there are others out there with similar stories.
Highest weight ever: 254 in October 1999.
Lowest since 1999: 195.
Original starting weight: 243 in 2015.
MFP Starting weight December 25th, 2016: 233
Goals: ONEderland before the end of 2017.
180 in however long it takes, and I'll evaluate at that time. Haven't been there since my early 20s.
Average from October 30-November 4th: 210.1
Loss for November:
MFP Loss: 22.9 lbs.
Total cumulative loss: 32.9 bs.
Until next week...

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm currently at 205. I was at 196 earlier this year but put some weight back on. My goal is to get to ONEderland and stay there. Good luck on your goal as well!3 -

Started walking in the morning with a friend. Thank god she said yes when I meekly mentioned the only time I can walk is 5.15 am !!!!! By the time I start work all my exercise done In terms of eating, a pretty bad week. But happy with the 1 lb loss and looking forward to a more healthy eating week

I've got your back Jenn. It can be so hard when you're so close but this is when we kick stress in the butt and take it one day at a time. My favorite quote is: "A set back is a set up for a come back!" I guarantee if you don't give up you'll get your "whoosh!" (weight-loss)....Just hold on.4 -
