I know it's 90% diet and all,of that crap... b7t I hate to diet...i just believe inputting in the work with weights and the cutting with running which normally works....but... I feel like I need a new method this winter.
And what is a good intense workout for these love handles and my back love handles... obviously, they aren't out of control... but I just want to isolate those areas so everything can come together when I get ready to cut.
INSIGHT??? ADVICE???? IM OPEN.

How exactly do you think exercise will work fat as opposed to working muscles?6
-
Calorie deficit, lifting, adequate protein, consistency and patience14
-
Yes.
You can't exercise fat, it's just a fuel store and you don't get to choose where you body will take it from when you are in an energy deficit anymore than you can choose to use fuel from the top right hand side of your car's fuel tank!
You can target certain muscles of course (which may not be a great training plan...) but that's not going to remove the fat over those particular muscles.

One pound of muscle burns approximately 4-6 more calories than a pound of fat. It's not enough to bank on, for sure tho.10 -

No it doesn't - barely anymore than fat pound for pound.
What "burns fat" is a calorie deficit.
And still it's a complete fallacy that muscle takes fat from the same part of the body.

Thing is, in your title "I want leaner abs and thighs" we are telling you what to do. Right now, you can build muscle but it won't get rid of the fat in those areas. If you want more definition, you will have to lower your bodyfat %, and the best way to do that in your case is to eat at a deficit.
If you don't want to do that and want to build a bit, lose a bit, then eat at maintenance and recomp. If you want to gain muscle (but you will gain fat too) you can bulk. All of this will take quite a bit of time and dedication and hard work.
If you are happy with your results, keep doing what you are doing. But you did ask for advice and we are kindly giving it to you16 -

you don't have to eat salad to diet, just eat fewer calories than you burn. to find out if you're doing that, you're going to have to track calories somehow.10 -

I don't do salads and *kitten*, either. (Unless I really want a salad. ) I just make sure I'm eating fewer calories per day than my body uses. This usually includes ice cream, chocolate or candy every night.

Ok well forget the word "diet" then... you have to eat less than you burn(eat in a deficit) .. you don't have to eat salads, eat the foods you love (maybe cut down the portions, go easy on the sauces, cheeses oils, etc), get adequate protein and nutrients... done.6 -

Well... I've been doing the bulk n cut method for about 3 years now... I kinda want to try something a little different. Not too much... but slightly... and I just want some new workouts to build that muscle in my abs and inner thighs before I think about cutting really... I know I'm almost there... I just want to make my stomach MUSCLES permanent and my inner thighs flawless along with the minor back fat... I mean...
I guess I just hate the idea of dieting when I lost 60lbs in 4 months without it... I just go hard and put in the work. Also... i,don't even like to call it "dieting" I just kinda like to try to eat according to my physical goals... lol.8 -

Call it cutting instead of dieting - two words that both mean calorie deficit.
If you don't like calorie deficit - call it energy deficit.9 -

I think this is a great way to put it. Your current physical goals require you eat a few less calories per day than your body uses, maybe 250 calories or so.10
