            I have a goal of losing 25lbs by my birthday, which is a shortly after New Year. I'd like to join.

            I wish I had seen this when it started. I finally got "back on the wagon" a few days ago (I tend to do it a few times a year, then give up). Since this challenge is halfway through, I'm not sure I could end up 25lbs lighter in half the time as everyone else, especially through the holidays!!!
 I'm going on a beach vacation on January 23rd 2018 for a week, and would like to slim down some by then (I ultimately want to slim down in general though too, not just for the vacation!). I'm trying to come up with a reasonable, achievable target to aim for before the vacation, and then resume on to my first goal weight. Any ideas?
 I'm a 40 year old female, 5'7"
 My highest weight was 226lbs 5 years ago
 Current weight 217lbs
 Lowest I've gotten in the last few years "on the wagon" is 204lbs. I REALLY want to hit ONEderland!!!
 First goal weight is 180lbs (don't know when), then maybe on to 160lbs.

 @Aworkinprogress007 Thanks for starting the challenge. In response to your post above, what worked for me was just wanting it real bad. Counting my calories accurately and logging my food every day.

 Hi everyone, hope you are all killing it! I wanted to log my current weight which is 358 so I’m 22 pounds down since joining this challenge! I had a bad month this last month only losing 3.5 pounds and I know exactly why. Self sabotage is my toughest challenge so far. Keep up the great work!9
