11/26 - 154.4 ... This is the very tippy top of a normal BMI and a total loss of (- 68.7) lbs. Since finding my treadmill again and getting my walk on I think I’ve had a few whooshes. As per usual SO comes come in a few days so holding on to this will be extra hard. Oh yeah the stress has disappeared for the weekend perhaps that’s helped too. (20,549 steps). Off to buy a dishwasher!! Happy Sunday.
Congrats!!! The feeling of getting to 154.4 (same height) was super thrilling.

11/19 - 146.2 /It's been a rough few days. Today was also not great in terms of food. It's all these social events that are happening. Tomorrow will be a good day. Tuesday is a work happy hour. Wednesday should be good. And then...Thanksgiving.
11/20 - 145.6 /Hopefully, I can make my way down again, even with Thanksgiving and such. Ate well today. Feeling bloated and moody in anticipation of TOM.
11/21 - 142.6 /Well, this is a surprise! Had pub food and drinks today.
11/22 - 141.8 /This is nice. I ate within calories today.
11/23 - 142.2 /Won't complain. Ate a lot today for Thanksgiving...and a lot of desserts.
11/24 - 144.4 /Well, I'm not surprised. Now time to recover!
11/25 - 144.4 /Hasn't budged yet. Continued to eat within calories today. 11/22 was such a tease!
11/26 - 142.8 /Making my way back to that elusive 11/22 weight. I'll be happy staying in the 142s for this challenge. Ate within calories and went to the gym today.

OK day for food, not enough water. My goal for this round is 159.
11/20: 161.5
Did what I was supposed to do today. A bit anxious about a work event tomorrow.
11/21: 161.0
Saw this about a week ago. On my feet and outside most of the day today. OK day for calories, protein, etc. Probably a bit dehydrated although I drank over 2L. Kind expecting to be down tomorrow but I could be wrong.
11/22: 161.5
So, I was wrong on that one. Glad to have the day off tomorrow. We go to a relative's house for the holiday, not sure how I'll do on food. I pre-logged some stuff and I'm not planning to have wine or appetizers, but I'm going to have to say no a lot.
11/23: 160.5
Today was very bad, diet-wise. No surprise but I had kind of a plan I didn't stick to. Went way over on calories, yet didn't hit my goals for veggies or protein. Didn't have enough water. Definitely had sugar. I did get a little exercise at least. It's only one day, have to move forward. Hope those who celebrate had a nice Thanksgiving.
11/24: 162.5
Well deserved. I guess it's a victory that I got on the scale. Today I got quite a bit of exercise and ate pretty perfectly. I don't want to let the holiday derail me.
11/25: 161.0
Walked quite a bit plus did some other exercise, ate under my calorie goal.
11/26: 160.5
So, today... Banana bread. I did get exercise, good on veggies, protein, water but I went over a little on calories.

Days without binge eating: 15 -
@nikki062181 - I am so sorry to hear about your mom. My prayers are for you and your family. My mom passed away from cancer almost 6 years ago. It's such a hard thing to go through. Bless you for keeping up with getting healthy.4

Current Weight: 102.4kg
Goal Weight: 80kg
Challenge goal weight: 101kg
So mini goals for the next 10 days:
Stay away from Coke 0 or any other pop drink
Eat all my calories everyday, too many days under
up my water another l. taking it to 4l/day
Day/Weight/Comment
11/19 - 102.4kg - I've had 2 high sodium meals (restaurant), so I'm trying to flush it out. Rest day today.
11/20 - 102.6kg - Of course, yesterday being Sunday, I ate for England! - well, within my maintenance allowance, but that is NOT how I'll lose the weight! Had a very restless night and woke up too early. My cat was hit by a car this morning - he died on impact, just felt so out of it today. My daughter is so heartbroken she stayed home from school. Not much of an appetite really - and I feel a horrendous migraine coming on. What a Monday
11/21 - 102.4kg - Fitful night again, need to up the exercise (and buy a new Fitbit watch because mine is worn out and has decided to work part-time).
11/22 - 102.6kg - Ate below my calories and no exercise, such no-nos! I had a meeting that went through lunchtime so I was only able to eat at 3PM. As some of you mentioned feeling fuller eating a protein-based breakfast (@SheilaBoneham & @HeidiCooksSupper I think) I took that suggestion and had a veggie cheese egg-white omelet... What a difference! Helped me stay lucid during the (boring) meeting.
11/23 - 102.4kg - Well what a number's game this is! Wonder what my weight will be tomorrow after Thanksgiving dinner... nothing crazy, but still, (carby) foods that I don't usually eat
HAPPY THANKSGIVING everyone
11/24 - 102.8kg - Not too bad, considering everything! I didn't hit my water goal, had a can of Coke zero - but definitely ate all my calories
11/25 - 102.2kg - Much better! Still no appetite yesterday and no exercise and had a Coke 0 yesterday. Pandora's box has opened with the fizzy drinks it's like if I have one, I have have it everyday after that and all the bad habits come running through the cracks. ONE month until Xmas - Need to get moving
11/26 - 101.8kg - WOOHOO, finally broke the cycle! I haven't seen this number in over a year - and I had 4 McVities last night before bed, just went to town and gobbled them up before even realizing it, and didn't feel bad about it which is unusual. Then this morning
I think my mindset has changed from "I'm on a diet until I hit goal" to "I'm going to eat within my allotted calories and be mindful, but this is for life, so no pressure goal date" - I feel so much better about it... I'm still on a learning curve though and I still have a tendency to eat below my cal allowance.
It should be easy cruising (fingers crossed) until 93kg, my other plateau number where my body just sits for ages.
11/27 - 102.4kg - Annnnd we're back! ok, so I'm not going to hit the panic button yet I did see a good number yesterday. Very much under calories yesterday because I felt nauseous and had a nasty migraine due to TOM. Dehydrated as well and I was up on my feet all day until I hit the sack at 1am. I could see my sock outline when I took them off so water retention was happening. Plan for today - eat and drink (water)

R19 = 138.75. ....................R20 = 138.02
R21 = 137.86......................R22 = 137.68
19/11 - 138.2 - too much chocolate and cake. I need to make better health choices this round.
20/11 - 138.4 - So yesterday I ate all the chocolate I had left in the house. Exercised today, back on the wagon!! What is it about this time of year which makes me want to eat and eat and eat?!
21/11 - 138.0 - I have over eaten again today. I need to get a grip!!
22/11 -138.8 - too much food at work. I could not resist!
23/11 - 138.6 - I had a good chat to myself and ignored the biscuits even though they were calling my name!!
24/11 - 138.2
25/11 - 138.6
26/11 -137.8
27/11 - 138.8
28/11 -6 -
So this is my first time doing this, think it will focus me as i usually fall off the wagon for a day or two here and there. Hope these ten days go to plan
Round 23 start: 171.2
GW: 167
11/19.....171.1
11/20.....173.8
11/21.....170.8....very good day yesterday, plenty of water and healthy eating, now to do the same again today!!
11/22.....170.....going in the right direction anyway!! Had bread yday so need to cut it out again today. 167 is looking possible!!
11/23.....170.6....really wasn't expecting an increase. really want to get below 170. Won't be near a scales tomorrow so gotta stay on track with out them. Will log all food thou. 167 isn't looking as possible any more
11/24.... no scales today, gotta try log everything to stay on track and hope for a big drop tomorrow. Really wanna get to 168.
11/25....170.4....scales really don't want to go any lower
11/26.....169.4... woohoo below 170, delighted
11/27......169.4...staying the same is better than a gain I suppose
11/287 -
am in for another round. Previous rounds:
R14: start 61.3
R15: start 60.9
R22: start 60.5
R23: end weight R22 60.2. I really really want to stick to 59s!
11/19 - 60.2
11/20 - 60.0 - ran 7km on the treadmill yesterday, so all good. Ate a little bit of bread and too much cheese, but all in all was a good day. Hopefully tomorrow will go under 60 again!
11/21 - 59.8 - hello 59! Good dieting yesterday! No sweets, healthy eating all day.
11/22 - 60.3 - Don't know how this happened. I ate well, exercised at lunch, no carbs or sweets all day. Could be my salad in the evening was too bug, but still
11/23 - 58.8 - Ran 8km yesterday evening, so maybe this is just the water loss through sweat. I will see tomorrow the real weight! Ate well, had some sweets (200cal or so.. so quite a lot), but exercising seems to work well for me
11/24 - 59.5 - Quite a big difference between daily weights, but still going downward. Ate well yesterday so keeping up the hard work!
11/25 - 60.5 - so 2 kg in 2 days, not not good. It was Junk food Friday yesterday, as I had a hard day at work, but I will be back on track starting tomorrow
11/26 - did not weigh
11/27 - 60.8 - that time of month is closing in, so cravings + weekend don't make a good fit. I ran 8km yesterday but that didn't seem to make up the bread and cheese!
11/28 -5 -
SW: 90.0kg
GW: 58-60kg maintenance range
Round 22 End weight: 63.9kg
Round 23 Start weight: 65.5kg
Round 23 Goal weight: 62.9kg
The Plan - Lots of water, spreading calories across 10 day period to stay under an average of 1300.
Day/Weight/Comment
11/19 - 65.5kg - Big blow out with friends on Saturday and TOTM. Still, thought I was out of seeing the 65s! Grrrr.
11/20 - 65.1kg - Still seeing the effects of Saturday and my big Sunday dinner
11/21 - 64.4kg - Back down to my usual bump for hormonal water retention. So so bloated.
11/22 - 64.2kg - Slowly slowly back down. I want to see a 63 in there tomorrow! Had a bit of a stress eat yesterday but managed to do a bit of damaged control. Today is another day!
11/23 - 64.1kg - Still feeling like I have a brick in my stomach. Had a snack attack again last night so I am going to add a snack in for afternoon tea and see if I can avoid raiding the cupboards before dinner tonight.
11/24
11/25
11/26
11/27 - 64.3kg - Oh my lord this round has gone down in flames! My weight looks OK but I'm not happy with the food I am eating or my lack of exercise. I'm still here though, have a bag of healthy groceries for my lunches and yoga tonight. Setting aside time this morning to do a bit of reflection and planning.
11/28

Not sure if I should change my goal since I've decided to carb load again, but I was gone for the weekend and though I am a bit skeptical, the scale claims I've gained 3 lbs of water (which I believe based on the carb loading) and lost 4 lbs of fat (which I am not sure I believe). The scale has been pretty consistently showing body fat going down over the last 5 months even if I can't rely on the absolute numbers. Boy, the carbs helped with recovery from my long run yesterday though!
Goal this round 131.0 25.5% BF, start logging again regularly, do at least 4 strength workouts (I will count yoga toward this too!)
11/19 133.6 26.0% BF Ran 11 mi + PT
11/20 134.0 26.0% BF Water walked
11/21 133.6 26.0%BF Rest day
11/22 133.6 26.0%BF Rest day
11/23 134.3 26.1% BF 5K Race
11/24 136.5 25.8% BF Water walk + strength workout
11/25 Didn’t weigh because out of town Ran 10K + yoga class
11/26 Didn’t weigh because out of town Ran 10 mi + stretching
11/27 135.3 23.1%(!!) BF Water walk + PT
11/28

I HAVE the power and determination to do this.
Change in focus. In the normal range for my age height and build, on maintenance.
New Primary Goal - 160lbs +/- 2lbs.
I was ill most of Round 22, but achieved my goal.
Of course, losing a pound a Round would be ace, as I would like a cushion for celebrations.
to all the Newbies, and Hi to those returning for another Round. This has given me an element of daily accountability which is motivational.
Observations, and Previous RoundsMany events along the way will scupper our best intentions, but they merely delay the achievement of our goals. Life is for living, and one must learn patience. It takes many years to put on excess weight, so It follows that it takes much time to remove, but it does come off, bit by stubborn bit! If you stick with it! The game continues!
A lot of people get upset by apparent weight gain when they have been working their butts off. Body weight fluctuates, both up, and down, from one day to the next depending on so many factors. From my experience:- Changes often take several days to show on the scale.
- A drop is often followed by a bounce up before it settles back down. A general downward trend is the aim.
- A high sodium day usually results in a gain due to water retention, unless you drink extra fluids to flush it out.
If you are making positive lifestyle changes it will lead to increased health and fitness.
Slow and steady leads to sustainable weight loss.
But remember to live a little along the way!

I’ve done a few of these challenges now and not managed to lose anything. On the plus side I’ve not put on either - so that’s a win for me. I’m going to really focus this time round. My goal will have to be maintenance because I’m away with friends next weekend. Here goes!
Day/Weight/Comment
11/19 140.7
Good day. Met my goals. Won’t have much chance for excercise today so need to try to keep moving somehow - and drink more water
11/20 139.7
11/21 139.2
Going out for meal tonight. Need to be sensible and make good choices
11/22 139.5
Got visitors today till Friday. Controlling food intake is going to be tricky. Main goal is to try to drink lots of water and very little alcohol!
11/23
11/24 139.7
Hanging in there! Going away with friends today till Sunday so bracing myself for a small gain.
11/25
11/26
11/27 140.5
Pleased with the scale this morning. Only a small gain despite having be away. Going to be extra good today to try to achieve a small loss this round.
11/287 -
I'm in for my second round if that's ok
Round 22 start weight - 151.40
Round 23 start weight - 145.80
I'm aiming to finish this round about 143.50.......
11/19 145.70 - only 0.1lb down but happy as its the weekend
11/20 145.80 - that 0.1lb has gone back on again but really happy as it means that I have effectively maintained over the weekend which is always a big thing! I know its wasn't fat gain but often used to "gain" 2-3 lb over a weekend so a good start for me for R23
11/21 146.00 minimal 0.2 lb on - don't know why as drank usual amount of water, did my 12 mile cycle ride, ate within my calories. But I am effectively maintaining which after my losses in the last round which were so much more than I thought, I am happy with. I am still 5.4 lbs down from where I was two weeks ago - yay!!! Non scale victory today though - put on a pair of trousers for work I haven't worn for a few weeks and they were so much looser so whatever the scale says today I have definitely lost inches so all good!!! Good food day planned and 1hr PT session tonight
11/22 145.1 -0.9lbs. Obviously last 2 days were a weekend backlash (although not totally sure why - can only be my Sunday apple crumble again!). I'm in the UK so no thanksgiving for us but a night out with the girls on Friday for chinese so salt likely to play a part over the weekend - must remember to keep drinking plenty.
11/23 144.8 another .30 lb gone. Feeling motivated at the minute - not sure why or how or whats different? Maybe its coming on here every day and "checking in" and seeing everyone else's comments - not sure. But feeling motivated, feeling good.
11/24 144.80 so STS. Chinese with the girls tonight - intending to stay focused and not go mad! Also driving tonight so alcohol not a problem - going to drink plenty of sparkling water
11/25 Didn't weigh in this morning! Late night and hubby brought me a cup of tea in bed this morning - a rare treat as I'm up first almost every day and usually weigh in first thing. A controlled night last night though - did have a bit of everything including chocolate cake for dessert but drank plenty of water and on track today so hopefully no damage!! 3 days to go and mini target is around 143.50 - 144.00
11/26
11/27 147.60????? how on earth ? Had chinese on Friday and a bit of chocolate cake and then a biggish dinner last night but no different to any other Sunday dinner so this seems a tad unfair But no reason not to have a "good" day today, maybe up my water intake as didn't drink as much as normal over the weekend and see what happens. Impossible to put on 3lbs of real weight in a couple of days given what I ate and did record in MFP. Till tomorrow morning .......
11/286 -
I am back for Round 23. I've been logging my calories every single day, but it hasn't been easy. I'd forget until the last minute. I'd do it though, and I never missed a day. Both of my sons' had really messed up birthdays this last round. My oldest turned 14 and my youngest turned 9. For 2 weeks we were at the hospital with Mom, and the day after our sons' made it through their birthdays (which are 4 days apart), Mom passed away. We've been in Missouri laying her to rest. It has been incredibly hard, and it is going to take some time to get back into the swing of things. Cancer is an ugly beast. I don't want her in pain or suffering anymore, but how I miss her so very much. We spoke every single day. Sometimes it was about her grandchildren, about her health, about the weather, what we were making for dinner, or what we did that day. I'm going to miss those talks most of all. Everyone keeps saying I will get adjusted to the new normal, but I'm not liking it at all right now.
I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks @quiltingjaine for sending a message to check up on me. You knew what had happened without me saying a single word. You just noticed my absence. I appreciate that you reached out with your support and condolences. It means so much. You're the reason why I'm back this morning...doing these challenges again.
Round 23 SW: 166.8
GW: 166
UGW: 125
11/19 166.8 After a week on the road and living in a hotel to lay Mom to rest.
11/20 167.6 Housework all day
11/21 167.6 Back to work for the first time since Mom's been gone. It was a really hard day for me, and I just wanted to come back home.
11/22 166.8 Going ahead with Thanksgiving preparations for Mom's side. I don't really feel like celebrating, but I need to do this for her.
11/23 166.6 I am struggling today and feel sick to boot.
11/24 166.6 Miss Mom a lot this Thanksgiving. Spent 2 days cooking for my husband and his brother, so they could still have a family get together with a lot of Mom's recipes, AND my BIL never showed. He decided he wanted to invite strangers into our home without discussing it first with my husband. My husband wasn't appreciative when he found out, so he refused to come. So much food in my fridge now and such an upset hubby.
11/25 167.4 Baked 2 pies today for my side of the family's Thanksgiving. So many new faces this year and people flying in from out of state. I enjoyed visiting with everyone, but it seemed so surreal.
11/26 165.4 Have all but 6 thank you notes done for those that sent flowers or gave donations in Mom's memory. I ended up having a horrid migraine, and I still do have it. I've been in and out of sleep since about 3:30 yesterday afternoon. It's been awhile since I've had one of those.
11/27 165.4 Spent the day working on laundry, preparing for a data meeting tomorrow, and lesson planning. I also finished all the thank you notes.

Day/Weight/Comment
11/19 - 241.0 - Yesterday wasn't a great exercise day, but today will be better.
11/20 - 242.6 - I have been totally out of control this past week. Really trying to get my stuff together and get back on track this week. Thanksgiving will make it tricky, but I've decided I need something to work toward, so I'm researching 5k races. Tomorrow WILL be better.
11/21 - 239.4 - Back on track! And that marks 30 pounds since 9/12/17! TOM may mess things up, but I'm going to have another good day today!!
11/22 - 239.2 - Was hoping for more loss, but I'll take it!
11/23 - 239.4 - Hoping I can try to stay on track today!
11/24 - 242.0 - Ugh, Thanksgiving. The next few days are going to get worse before they get better
11/25 - 244.2 - Told myself I wasn't going to worry about food or exercise this weekend. I'm going to regret it come Monday...
11/26 - 244.4 - Today I am getting back to it. I really feel terrible eating like I have the past few days. Something I didn't realize was how I used to feel like this all the time. Now that I don't anymore, feeling like this again is a good reminderof why I'm making these changes.
11/27 - 243.0 - Not as much as I'd hoped to lose, but finally going back in the right direction.

11/19= 223.8 lbs- Well, too bad this wasn't yesterday. I could have had a loss for the last round. Pretty happy to see this drop though! Now...to keep this number through Thanksgiving...that's my goal. Losing would be great, but I'll be happy to stay right here for the next 10 days as long as I don't gain.
11/20= 225.3- I didn't stay where I wanted but I'm still less than R22 EW.
11/21= Forgot to weigh before I ate breakfast, so I just didn't weigh in.
11/22= 225.3- Still holding; really hope I don't go up too much because of Thanksgiving dinner and leftovers. I'm planning to have seriously moderate portions, skip the rolls, and only one small slice of pie for dessert. Leftovers will be only for meals, not random eating anytime, and will not be an entire plateful.
11/23=224.1- Glad to have this drop today. Haven't eaten breakfast. Hoping to hold out til the big lunch at 2:00, but we'll see. That might make me too hungry to resist eating too much. Will check in tomorrow to update.
11/24=223.7- This is a great number. Did well yesterday and didn't overeat. Leftovers still for a couple of days though, so I have to keep in control of those portions.
11/25=225.8- Well, I knew last night that this number was coming. I'm drinking tons of water today to flush out the sodium. I added up my numbers for Thursday and Friday- total calories I went over is 1585, which isn't terrible for two days. Total sodium, however, was more than 5000 over. Hopefully, that's what the weight is from and drinking water will help it drop back down.
11/26= 224.8- Glad to see a drop. New week starts today. All leftovers are gone, except ham and turkey, which are both pretty low calorie, even if ham is high sodium. Happy to get back on track.
11/27=224.8- Can't believe this number didn't go up after yesterday's behavior. I finished off the pecan and apple pie-1slice of each which was more than half my daily calories. Then I still ate like normal the rest of the day, so I went way over my calorie goal. Plus, I was in bed or on the couch absolutely all day- I'm talking 1400 steps for the whole day. That's ridiculous, but I just couldn't push myself up to do anything. Emotionally, I was a wreck. Back to work today, so emotions go on the back burner and I can get back to normal. Hopefully, I won't see a gain tomorrow as payment for yesterday's laziness, but it's well-deserved if I do.

11/19: 293 this oatmeal and banana breakfast sucks!
11/20: 291.8: ate reasonable and got in 30 minutes on the indoor bike. Peeps starting to show up for Thanksgiving so the next several days are gonna be tough.
11/21: 289.2: great day up till dinner. Too much company so fast food for supper. Two pieces of Popeyes chicken and green beans. Portion size was way down for me so it must have worked.
11/22: 288.4: starting the day with oatmeal with bananas - yuk!
11/23: 288.4: steak nite last nite so just glad I didn’t gain. Didn’t get around to posting till 7:15 pm so hope I can stay away from the Derby Pie, Italian Cream Cake, Otster Dressing - it’s a minefield here!
11/24: 289:
11/25: no weigh in!
11/26: 292.2: Thanksgiving leftovers and visitors catching up to me. I guess I’ll consider it a win if I lose anything at all over the 10 day stretch. At least the Italian Cream Cake is gone!
11/27: 289: busy day cleaning up after Thanksgiving company. Gonna get back into my routine (the good one) today.

11/19 - 185 - lunch with old friend and ribs for dinner. Feel like I made healthy choices so not worried about this gain.
11/20 - 184.2 - moving in the right direction. Introducing alcohol back into my diet slows the process to a crawl. Truly need to get a handle on drinking.
11/21 - 183.4 - Back to my end 22 weight, I feel good but the weight is dropping so slowly, all I want for Christmas is the 170's....
11/22 - 183.2 - Decided to meal prep and made a wonderful crustless quiche with broccoli, roasted red pepper, red onion, fresh dill, all the good stuff. It smelled delicious and looked beautiful and festive. I carefully recorded and weighed every ingredient for my log. I left it to cool on the stove and my stepson spied it and asked if he could have some. Long story short - he used a stool to get a small plate from an upper shelf and left the stool at the counter and when I walked into the kitchen next there was an opportunistic Chihuahua eating the quiche. I just wanted to cry.
11/23 - 182.8 - new low! Canadian's have already had our Thanksgiving day feast in October so it's smooth sailing for me until Christmas! Happy Turkey Day to my friends that celebrate it.
11/24 - 182.4 - Hubby to me, "Why are you weighing your new pajama's? - Me, "So I don't have to get on the scale naked tomorrow morning, duh!" - Hubby, "Sigh" (I like that he likes me naked, personally I think I look like a duvet, lol.
11/25 - 182.2
11/26 - 183.2 went out last night and had a couple glasses of wine and some potato chips. Expected.
11/27 - 182.4 Happy with this.. have a great day everyone
