11/30 174.0 hormones are still acting wacky.. can we get on with it or what. I went over my calories, but avoided added sugar. Just had some extra protein bc I was so hungry all day

11/30. 207.6. I had a BAD day yesterday and this morning. No matter how much I ate I was starving and craving sweets. Came to realize today when my sugar went low that I had not had a hot meal in days5 -
This will be another challenging round. I have surgery (cosmetic) scheduled for the 29th, and spending the next 4 days recovering on oxycodone. So I'll have to be extra clean with my diet to compensate. Consistency is key.

11/29 • 116 • Ran 3.5 miles & lifted weights this morning. Surgery this afternoon. 3 servings of alcohol. 1700 cal.
11/30 • 117 • Walked 2 miles this evening. Day 1 post surgery & feeling bloated from the procedure. I’m not allowed to do any strenuous exercise for a week, doctors orders. Looking forward to staying 100% compliant during my recovery. No alcohol. 1400 cal.

11/29 162.8 my new outlook of thinking ahead and planning to hit my goals was motivation today. I took a more challenging yoga class, and ate in a way I’m proud of. My lunches are definitely helping my work flow.
11/30 163. 4/6. why do leftovers run out and where is my home cook? I am proud of myself for getting off the couch and putting in the effort to walk the dog and move some items downstairs. It was so hard to dig out that energy tonight. I’m having to be proud of very small gains these days, it’s strange to be forced away from my identity as a powerhouse.

11/29 - 103.2kg - Whaaat? OK, I've been eating out since travelling, but there must be some hidden ingredients somewhere. My weight is definitely not going in the right direction
11/30 - 102.6 - again, a very familiar number but at least it's going back the right way...
12/01 - 102.2 - The eating was subpar today, too much caffeine, not enough water - will probably be reflected on the scales tomorrow. Traveling home today, need to be mindful of airport lounge food, too easy to indulge to ease the fatigue.

I did round 18. But injured myself couple of weeks ago, and only now slowly getting back to working out again.
Eating consistently better has been hard with all the celebrations etc. Back for R24.

11/30 - 63.5kg - Woop woop! Going to focus today on meeting my water goal and will do a nice yoga session when I get in from work On another note, I finally feel like my vitamin D and iron supplements are working! Yay!
12/01 - 63.3kg - Kept my sugary treats down to 2 pieces of dark chocolate, had a delicious veggie-ful dinner and did half an hour of yoga. Feeling very saintly. Super exciting milestone coming up as well, which is keeping me motivated. Hope to share it with you all soon!

I HAVE the power and determination to do this.
Change in focus. In the normal range for my age height and build, on maintenance.
Had a bit of a blip last round as I was ill.
New Primary Goal - 160lbs +/- 2lbs.
Of course, losing a pound a Round would be ace, as I would like a cushion for celebrations.
to all the Newbies, and Hi to those returning for another Round. This has given me an element of daily accountability which is motivational.
Observations, and Previous RoundsMany events along the way will scupper our best intentions, but they merely delay the achievement of our goals. Life is for living, and one must learn patience. It takes many years to put on excess weight, so It follows that it takes much time to remove, but it does come off, bit by stubborn bit! If you stick with it! The game continues!
A lot of people get upset by apparent weight gain when they have been working their butts off. Body weight fluctuates, both up, and down, from one day to the next depending on so many factors. From my experience:- Changes often take several days to show on the scale.
- A drop is often followed by a bounce up before it settles back down. A general downward trend is the aim.
- A high sodium day usually results in a gain due to water retention, unless you drink extra fluids to flush it out.
If you are making positive lifestyle changes it will lead to increased health and fitness.
Slow and steady leads to sustainable weight loss.
But remember to live a little along the way!

30/11/2017: 162.8 Goals ✅ STOP! With the bouncing, already! Enough is enough! Mind you, on reflection, as I have been doing intensive strength circuits this week, not unexpected. I could feel tightness in my muscles this morning.

I know that I’m a little late to the challenge but I’ve been tracking my weight, just not logging. My current diet plan is cutting out processed carbs and dairy. Thanks for running this again, it’s been super helpful in the past!

I was not kind to my body during Thanksgiving week. Family visited the whole week so I really didn't work the plan. I'm back to running and lifting this week and it feels good.
Round 24 (3rd for me) Goal 169 - Goal met 12/1

11/29 - 171.8
11/30 - 170.4 - YES! Back on track. Off to run a few miles and lift.
12/1 - 168.0 - Wow! I weighed myself twice just to be sure. I really think it's water weight. During Thanksgiving week I ate like crazy all week and my hands swelled so much that I couldn't get my rings off. And I really didn't drink water all week. I'm just glad to be back! I will be resetting my goal weight for this challenge round.

11/29 223.5. I know holiday time is hard, so I'm trying to be kind with myself. I'm verifying today as a new start. I need to get back on track. I'm going to start keeping track of my exercise here as well. I do it in my food log, but if I'm putting it out there, maybe I'll actually do it in a regular basis! I've promised myself a new hair do when I make my first weight goal, so let's do this!
11/30 223.5 Exercised for 10 mins. yesterday. It's a start. Today I'm shooting for 20 mins.
