Do you have a food or meal that you eat every day?
One that you have eaten over and over again...for years and years?

My breakfast.. toast with peanut butter and jam. Sometimes I have it on waffles or pancakes but if I don't have pb&j on a carb in the morning I get really uncomfortable haha3

I've eaten 4 almonds a day for almost 40 years.

Eggs. I'd also have avocado every day if they weren't so bloody expensive right now.5

Oats, strawberries and banana for breakfast. Rainbow salad (salad trying to get all the colors of the rainbow represented by veg) with bolthouse farms for dinner. 9 out of 10 times air popped popcorn with evoo spray and nacho cheese powder from kernel seasonings. It sounds like I'm in a rut, but I love these foods and they make me happy.5

Always an apple and some sort of a protein bar. No prep work and no dishes are the best.5

My breakfast is generally red seedless grapes topped with Greek yogurt, with a granola bar crumbled on top. Sometimes I'll do blueberries instead of grapes, but usually it's grapes.4

I'm very routinized for breakfasts, because I'm comatose in the AM.
If rowing, kefir, Ezekiel pita with crunchy peanut butter, hot skim with vanilla.
If spin class, same but substitute Coco Lite Pop Cake (whole wheat flavor) for pita. (Don't need as many carbs for spin, and pita is too heavy in my stomach).
If neither, cooked rolled oats with mixed berries, blackstrap molasses, walnuts, hemp seed, flax seed, and Greek yogurt; coffee with hot skim milk; cold matcha tea with citrus wedge. If I don't eat this for breakfast, I usually eat it for lunch.
Supper has little or no consistent themes or contents. By then, I'm awake. Usually, there are many, many servings of vegetables, but which ones and how they're used varies wildly.
P.S. I'm ovo-lacto vegetarian. You probably guessed.5 -
8 0z of pure grape juice first thing every morning. For many years.
Challenging for sugar macro, but works for me.3 -
since mfp, for the last 18months I have some form of Kirkland non fat greek plain yogurt. I love it. Either plain, or mix it with 2 Tbl of cool whip & add chocolate p butter powder, or fruit powder or put it in my smoothie. can't get enough of it3

I eat the same breakfast every weekday: Fage nonfat Greek yogurt, soy milk, fiber cereal, chocolate protein powder, and chocolate PB2.
If I’m running that day, I have a banana before my run and then my yogurt after.0 -
Toast for breakfast, now with eggs, used to be without. Always the same brand too, and a few years ago changed from margarine to butter.1

Egg whites, bananas, broccoli!0

Nope. My dad was bacon, eggs, toast every day for years and years, but I rotate among some that I like, occasionally experimenting with some others.0

I go through phases with food. Right now it's cottage cheese and waffles. Going to move the waffles to lunch and start having oatmeal for breakfast for a bit.0

my breakfast smoothie has been going on for years. That and a bowl of frozen blueberries with lunch or as a snack. My faves!!1
-
For me it's also breakfast: I need at least my soy yoghurt and banana. I also have a slice of bread with either peanut butter or hummus, but that's more inconsistent.0

Egg whites, Oatmeal and Cauliflower are big repeat items in my meals1
-
Steamed potatoes, steamed mixed veggies, topped with some baked beans. A little salt and pepper. So simple, cheap, easy to make and yet incredibly satisfying.0
-
Oatmeal for breakfast (half maple packet)...Everyone says you need oatmeal every day for a healthy heart0
-
There are some ingredients I eat every day, like onions and garlic, but otherwise no. I get bored eating the same thing.1
-
Interesting question. I really don't. I go through phases where I do, but even then it's not EVERY day and nothing I've sustained for years.1
-
Roasted vegetable and egg casserole topped with salsa, kimchi and shredded cheese. I've had that for breakfast for years.1
-
Honestly, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't eat some sort of cheese.2
-
I don't have a meal that I repeat every day, but I have a tomato or something with tomato sauce every day.
With meals, I pick a set of go-to meals and eat them every day for a month or two during the work days (meal prepped) until I've completely exhausted my tolerance for the same food. At that point I cycle something new in. EG: had a turkey sandwich for lunch for the last couple of weeks but batch made a veggie chili last night. If this goes well, will be eating it for the next few weeks.0 -
I am a creature of habit and ease of use. I premake my breakfast Monday- Friday. Plain non fat greek yogurt with a scoop of chocolate or vanilla protein powder, topped with either granola or trail mix and fresh berries. If I run out of yogurt then it's Gerber Rice baby cereal with a tsp of almond butter and ground cinnamon mixed in. My go to repeat items in meals are usually avocado, tomatoes, riced cauliflower, eggs, spinach... Creature of habit has managed to keep me on track for the past year. When I get bored I will change it up I suppose3
