When food woo goes too far

Ever since my brother started listening to this quack chiropractor he's been spouting woo left and right. I've tried, and failed, to convince him to check other sources before blindly believing this idiot. But apparently the word of someone he's known for 4 months is more important than a sister he's known for 24 years. Today was the last straw! He *kitten* threw out my seasonings, salmon, chicken and a bunch of my veggies because and I quote "Its full of toxins because they aren't organic and I don't want us to get sick, I thought you'd want to be healthy." I'm literally doing everything in my power to not explode and throw him off a roof.

Make him replace all of them. That was beyond rude.41

Just remind him that even organic food uses pesticides. And also beware of dihydrogen monoxide. In high levels it's toxic too lol!17

He's definitely gone too far. Does he live with you or just visiting? We should all respect each other's beliefs, and unless you're cooking for him and forcing him to eat something he isn't happy with, that was entirely out of place. Are there any parents involved in this scenario?
As for chiropractors, I'm happy to be the chauffeur. I drove my mother in law there, and waited to take her back home. I drive my wife there, and wait to take her back home. I drive my own mother there, and wait to take her back home. BUT I am NOT going there myself.7 -
I can't believe he threw out your food! You paid for it! How would he feel if you went to his house and threw out his music because it's too loud and may harm his hearing, threw out his clothes because they're unbecoming, threw out his bed because it's old and may be bad for his back, etc., etc. How does he dare!6

thats a lot of money he threw away. Make him pay for it!!11

@malibu927 I told him I expect him to pay it back, he didn't say much after that and went to his room. The worst part is I buy all our food because he doesn't make much, if he wanted me to buy something different he could've asked and I would try to accommodate.
Unfortunately we're roommates until February when I'll be moving out and getting my own place. I love my brother but he's gone nuts.4 -
Make him replace every bit of it. Then tell him if he touches your stuff again you'll break his fingers, and doesn't he wasn't to stay healthy?20

I know it's petty but I was so close to throwing out his speakers, I didn't cuz I knew it was wrong but I damn did I think hard about it.6 -
How much does it cost to change your last name and merge quietly into another family? lol13

thank you this made me laugh which I desperately need right now.
I just wish he'd realize how stupid the stuff this doc is telling him is. For heaven sakes he threw out my table salt because it has dextrose in it. Who gives a *kitten*?!2 -

Will you adopt me? Lol
Sad part is most of my family is starting to listen to him. It's like children of the corn and I'm the only adult left alive.12 -
My uncle, may he Rest In Peace, was a retired trucker. He was rough around the edges and not academic at all. But he was observant enough to realize even organic produce was “gassed” for transport.8

Better yet, take his speakers and sell them if he doesn't pay you back for the food he threw out.6 -

Suggest to him that he move in with one of those other family members.5 -
And you can tell your brother that table salt NEEDS dextrose in it in order to stabilize the iodine:

Goiter isn't healthy either.2 -
What are YOUR diet beliefs, and why are they more valid than his/his chiropractor's?16

https://merriam-webster.com/dictionary/belief
Belief: 1. a state or habit of mind in which trust or confidence is placed in some person or thing. 2. something that is accepted, considered to be true, or held as an opinion : something believed. 3. conviction of the truth of some statement or the reality of some being or phenomenon
I offered no opinion on the situation. I asked two questions, that is all.6
