I don't want to set a specific number goal because I have another round of birthdays to survive. I'd just love to be under 99kg to keep as much space as possible from 100kg and under 220in lbs ! I do not want to see 3-number kg weight!5 -

I'm in for another exciting round! Nice to see all the new faces! Welcome!!
HELPFUL POSTING TIPS FOR NEWCOMERS:
1) HOW TO FIND/EDIT YOUR PREVIOUS POST.
People do this different ways. There is no "easy" way to find your last post, so many people keep their weigh-ins and comments in Memo or Notes on their phones or computers, then copy and paste into a new post.
Alternatively, you could remember the page or date & time you posted last. Also, MFP will automatically return you to the last post you read in a particular thread, so if you read everyone else's posts first, then post yours and close the thread, you should pop back to your last post.
When you find your post, "Quote" it, then remove [ quote ] and [ /quote ] in your new message.
(Personally I find the copy/paste from Memo/Notes method to be the simplest!)
2) EMOJIS
Only use the MFP emojis (BBCode) otherwise your post may be cut off. Use thedrop down menu on the top right of the reply box or type : then the first letter of the emotion you are looking for (s for smile, l for lol, e for embarrassed, etc.)
Welcome aboard the JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS train! Woot-woot!!5 -
@cyranda63 Thank you for keeping this going. I need this accountability.
I HAVE the power and determination to do this.
Current Focus: In the normal range for my age height and build, on maintenance.
Had a bit of a blip last round as I was ill.
Primary Goal - 160lbs +/- 2lbs.
Of course, losing a pound a Round would be ace, as I would like a cushion for celebrations.to all the Newbies, and Hi to those returning for another Round. This has given me an element of daily accountability which is motivational.
Observations, and Previous RoundsMany events along the way will scupper our best intentions, but they merely delay the achievement of our goals. Life is for living, and one must learn patience. It takes many years to put on excess weight, so It follows that it takes much time to remove, but it does come off, bit by stubborn bit! If you stick with it! The game continues!
A lot of people get upset by apparent weight gain when they have been working their butts off. Body weight fluctuates, both up, and down, from one day to the next depending on so many factors. From my experience:- Changes often take several days to show on the scale.
- A drop is often followed by a bounce up before it settles back down. A general downward trend is the aim.
- A high sodium day usually results in a gain due to water retention, unless you drink extra fluids to flush it out.
If you are making positive lifestyle changes it will lead to increased health and fitness.
Slow and steady leads to sustainable weight loss.
But remember to live a little along the way!

12/09 - 100- would it really be too much to ask for a little less this morning? I truly didn't want to see this number. I went over my steps yesterday but didn't have time to eat enough. I even ate right before bed to get some extra calories in... but once Fitbit had calculated my steps, I was still very much lacking calorie-wise.
OK went back in edit mode - I lost 400 grams (almost a pound), so I'll shut it!

08/12 - 192 - R24 - The round that I ran out of anti inflammatory pills and my pain came back on like a train, also the round I found out my doctor wasn't really going to help me out, I have more pills now and I think slowly but surely they are starting to work again ... I have around 4 -6 weeks to wait to see a physio and around 35 weeks till I get to see a spinal specialist ... yay for long waits while in pain!
09/12 - 192.6 - had a little relief from my pain, so I done some xmas cleaning (something I am having real difficulty with at the moment, bending and stretching is the worst) after 1 hour I was laid up for the rest of the night in agony, had to sit in an upright position for any relief. looks like my house won't be clean for Santa!

WHAT THE HECK? 35 weeks to see a specialist? Which means you have to bear incredible pain or take meds until then?1 -
Back again! I started midway through Round 2 at 153.9 on 4/29. For this round I'd like to get below and stay below 140. Started at 162 something back in early March so I'm down over 20 pounds but haven't lost in a couple of months. I am aiming to reach goal of 139 before New Years. It's been verrry slow the last couple months.
