Enough. I'm off this afternoon to check out a gym - no more weather excuses for lack of exercise. And I've been lax about my eating, so seriously getting back on track and hitting the macros hard - 30P/30F/40C. We will be moving across the country in late February, and I want 10 pounds less of me by then. That's 10 weeks from now, so a pound a week, so 1.4 per 10-day round (assuming they'll be continuing in 2018, I hope?!?) I'm down a little from R15, but really, pretty stable over many weeks, so my metabolism is fine and this should be doable if I stick to the plan.
12/10 - 149
Back on track yesterday. Nothing showing on the scale, but I feel lighter, if that makes any sense.
12/11 - 149
Oh, for heaven's sake. It's like fat has superglue.
12/12 - 149.2
OK, now I'm really getting frustrated. The only thing different yesterday was that I was a bit heavier than usual on carbs (whole grain). I have been lower fat, higher protein & carbs than usual the past few days. I wonder whether that could make the difference? So disappointing!

Last time I said "I am ready to just walk away from the last two rounds!" I guess I kind of did. I last posted on Dec 1 in JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS ROUND 24. I barely kept up with my two "schools" on MFP and have not really posted anywhere else. I guess I have been in a bit of a funk.
Pros: Kept up weighing in every day; being mindful; mostly keeping up exercise minutes
Cons: Not keeping up with anything else; What I am mindful of is the chocolate going down
Since the solar eclipse**, life has just been topsy turvy. I am ready for it to slow down. I'm keeping this as my happy thought for this round:The road to success is always under construction.

Hello. This will be my first round. Starting at 158. I'd be happy to just start the scale going back down. I think this will help to keep me more accountable.
My short term goal is 145. Ultimate goal 130.
Day/Weight/Comment
12/09 / 158.4 / ok. I ate a little later last night than I normally would have. We had a Christmas party to go to. Today will be a lot of walking . I'm going out for dinner and am going to try to plan it out so I stay on track.
12/10 / 158 /
12/11 / 158.3 / a little frustrated but it is what it is I guess. Just keep pushing through. I know I didn't eat enough protein yesterday which means I had too much sugar.

Hello!!! Looking forward to another 10 days with all of you!!
SW- 182.4 in March 2017
GW - 145 - smashed this mid October
My daily weighing has taken on a new purpose as I enter my 3rd month of working on maintaining my weight under 145...so far so good!!
12/08 - 144.4 - coming in from round 24 with a rolling 7 day average of 143.5lbs
Day/Weight/Comment
12/09 - 142.6 - a little dip...
12/10 - 141.8 - I'm starting to figure out my high-low pattern...as long as the average stays the same it's all good. Today is family cookie baking day...I'm not so much worried about the cookies as I am about the Chinese take out we always have because no one wants to make dinner after all that baking...
12/11 - 143.0 - not bad considering how much beer and chinese food I had yesterday...
12/12 - 143.2 - normal little upswing...

Still hanging in there. Got some serious munchies this afternoon after work (perhaps in response to long run Sunday plus two days of PT scraping in a row). Managed to keep things healthy, but guessing I busted the calorie budget for the day. We'll see if there are repercussions later this week.

@cpanus Hey Chris, what’s up? Just wondering, are you a nurse?
Well, I need some kind of yummy goodness don't I? Lol I don't eat many sweets and have severe food allergies. The food I eat is limited. I'm not on a sugar free diet by any means. I just don't consume as much as I used to.5 -
Question for those of you who have done this a long time: Is there an easier way to find your previous post than just scrolling back through? Please message me if you respond so I can find your answer. Thanks!
Message sent! Just thought I would share with the class.
There is no "easy" way to find your last post, so many people keep their weigh-ins and comments in Memo, Notes, or Notepad on their phones or computers, then copy and paste into a new post.
If you really want to find your last post, either:
1. Remember the page or date & time you posted last.
2. MFP automatically returns you to the last post you read in a particular thread, so if you read everyone else's posts first, then post yours and close the thread, you should pop back to your last post next time you open the thread.
When you find your post, "Quote" it, then remove [ quote ] and [ /quote ] in your new message.
Personally I find the copy/paste from Memo/Notes method to be the simplest. No messing about with deleting the quote brackets or run the risk of the app going bonkers on you mid-edit.
Happy posting!4 -

Deserved, yesterday was bad. TOM is a full week late, definitely NOT pg, guess it's aging. Didn't do great on nutrition today but no added sugar and overall low on calories.

Day/Weight/Comment
12/09 - 100 - would it really be too much to ask for a little less this morning? I truly didn't want to see this number. I went over my steps yesterday but didn't have time to eat enough. I even ate right before bed to get some extra calories in... but once Fitbit had calculated my steps, I was still very much lacking calorie-wise. OK went back in edit mode - I lost 400 grams (almost a pound), so I'll shut it!
12/10 - 100.8 - ok 800g overnight (1.6lbs) - day entailed too many carbs, drank my water, hit my calories though! With Italian dinner, birthday cake, etc. The problem being today is just the same with another birthday to celebrate. Oh well that’s life I guess... I have a week to compensate. I’ll end with a very positive note though, as I’m am officially overweight
12/11 - 102.6 - I hyperventilated seeing this number (5.7lbs in 2 days), but as there is NO way I ate that much, I'll say it's the sodium, water retention etc. I have a week to redress the situation!
12/12 - 101.8 - I always wonder how long it takes to reset the water retention balance... obviously it's not overnight, but what 2? 3 days? It's definitely something to take into account when you don't weigh in daily!
12/13 - 101.2 - i didn't succumb to the gingerbread cookies, but woke up (very early) so hungry! that rarely happens to me

12/10 - 224.1 - NSV - I didn't eat the cookies and chips I was craving all day.
12/11 - 223 - NSV - not eating all the food! Guys I'm in this phase where I want to eat everything!!! I am not, despite being surrounded by Chistmas baking, bit the struggle is really real! This will end soon, these come round ever so often, but I am almost having dreams of pizza, it's hilariously sad. Staying strong to give in reasonably on Thursday date night which cannot come soon enough.
12/12 - 222.3 - NSV - I've decided to commit to walking to and from my subway stop this winter. I usually do walk but would take the bus once the snow came. It's 4,000 steps both ways so this year I'm going to tough it out and get my steps in. Last night we got our first real snowfall of the winter and today I did walk, despite the -10 Celcius temperatures and unplowed sidewalks. It's going to be a long winter but I can do it! Brrrrrrr

12/09 140.9 so down .70lbs Yay Still going strong, Cheer comp this weekend though so long days and very easy to eat wrong - but we'll see....
12/10 Didn't weigh this morning - day 2 of comp - woke up to snow so we just got ready and legged it out the house!
12/11 144.60 - according to the scales 3.7lbs on. I know I didn't drink enough over the weekend and I didn't properly track my calories - too difficult when at comp. Not felt great so been sucking on throat sweets and drinking Lemsip drinks too. But I know if I was over it was only a little - I did eat a lot more carbs than normal - but I know it wasn't 13,000 calories worth to justify 3.7lbs so I'm not disheartened! Back on it again this morning as normal and drinking plenty of water. Go away next Thursday so just over a week to go to meet my under 140lb target - I will do it!
12/12 141.30 - 3.30lb down - a whooooosh and then some!!! Shows how much weight can vary depending on what you eat in a day even when you don't exceed calories! No cycle last night either - way too icy out there for me. So overall 0.30 lb since the start of the round - all good - and still intend and on track to finish this round under 140 ...... good food day planned, water bottle is by my side and gym tonight.
12/13 141.60 - slightly up but am blaming TOM and the fact that I am full of cold and a sore throat so been having hot lemon paracetemol drinks and throat lozenges as food was spot on yesterday. Not disheartened - food planned for the day is all good and keeping on with the water drinking - bottle is next to me (alongside the box of tissues!!)

I HAVE the power and determination to do this.
Current Focus: In the normal range for my age height and build, on maintenance.
Had a bit of a blip last round as I was ill.
Primary Goal - 160lbs +/- 2lbs.
Of course, losing a pound a Round would be ace, as I would like a cushion for celebrations.
to all the Newbies, and Hi to those returning for another Round. This has given me an element of daily accountability which is motivational.
Observations, and Previous RoundsMany events along the way will scupper our best intentions, but they merely delay the achievement of our goals. Life is for living, and one must learn patience. It takes many years to put on excess weight, so It follows that it takes much time to remove, but it does come off, bit by stubborn bit! If you stick with it! The game continues!
A lot of people get upset by apparent weight gain when they have been working their butts off. Body weight fluctuates, both up, and down, from one day to the next depending on so many factors. From my experience:- Changes often take several days to show on the scale.
- A drop is often followed by a bounce up before it settles back down. A general downward trend is the aim.
- A high sodium day usually results in a gain due to water retention, unless you drink extra fluids to flush it out.
If you are making positive lifestyle changes it will lead to increased health and fitness.
Slow and steady leads to sustainable weight loss.
But remember to live a little along the way!

12/9 - 152.4
12/10 - 152.6 - even though I’ve hit 151 a few times this month, it was always jumping from 153 to 151. Now I feel I’ve actually lost a pound and 152 is a real loss. It’s going down slower but more consistently. Thanks for being here.
12/11 - 154.2 - happy holidays! Sigh

12/09: 181.8
12/10: 180.8 Ate out two meals yesterday and still managed to stay under calories. 14K steps helped!
12/11: 180.0 Had to make myself go from 7500 steps to 11K in the cold, after dark, but I did it!
12/12: 180.6 I was hungry all day yesterday, so I ate some of my exercise calories and drank lots of water which is something I may need to start doing. 10K steps
12/13: 180.4 Need to MAKE time for working out but it’s such a busy time! Wasn’t hungry at all today, so I don’t know why I felt like I was starving yesterday. Hoping for the gym tonight. Buying new clothes is fun though! :-)

Happy posting!
Thank you!!! I appreciate the responses y'all sent.3 -

R25 Goal <189.0
For this round I'm going to try to keep every day consistent. Could be a bit tricky with so much on the go this time of year, but its a lifestyle change I've got to make.
Day/Weight/Comment
12/09. 189.4. Good start
12/10. 189.6. After a Saturday night involving chili, garlic bread and a good zin, I’m really pleased. Maybe there is something to this moderation thing after all.
12/11. 190.4. Not bad for a Monday morning. Should be able to do better on week days.
12/12. 189.0. Now to really keep it in check for the rest of the weekdays
12/13. 188.8. I really like the look of the scale today, three snowmen! Going to do my best to keep it around here for the rest of the round.

Day/Weight/Comment
12/9 - 244.2 - Ugh wine.
12/10 - 246.4 - Spent yesterday hungover, eating, and not exercising. This scares me. It's been over a month since I've been this heavy. I. Have. To. Change.
12/11 - 246.2 - I did my C25K W2D1 run yesterday. If I had had my food under control, it would have been a bigger loss. I'm trying, but being out of my routine is killing me.
12/12 - 243.6 - Thank goodness. I was really starting to panic that I was rapidly approaching the 250s again. Tonight is my run, so hopefully I'll have more loss tomorrow!
12/13 - 243.4 - Talk about being out of my routine! Spent 2 hours yesterday with the adjuster and contractor. But, I still did my run and I felt pretty good when I woke up this morning.
