12/19…162….if I can stay in this 2 pound bounce around that I have been doing since joining the challenges will be good through the end of the year. The last 2 holiday parties the 29th & 30th (at my house and all the cooking etc.) The other 2 on the 24th & 25th shouldn’t be quite as bad. (hopefully).
    12/20…161
    12/21…161
    12/22….161
    12/23….161
12/24….161 cooking today for part of the family….one Christmas celebration and then travel tomorrow and more eating…..on the plus side I haven’t had any Christmas candy yet.
    12/25….161
12/26….161 way too many sweets….that will be major for me to cut them back out again. Hope that everyone had a nice holiday!

Off to another round! I might not have made my goal last round, but I plan on reaching it this round for sure!

    12/20: 216.1

    12/21: 215.7

    12/22: 213.1
I need to battle the rest of this round! One more dinner party before Christmas! I'm not cooking that much for Christmas; I may make a mock potato salad with cauliflower since no one eats it but me! I may cook some candied sweet potatoes because my son loves them, but other than that, no sweets for me!

    12/23: 212.6
Gotta go! Gotta go! Gotta go right now! Off to the last (hopefully) Christmas dinner!

    12/24: 212.6
Didn't do so bad. Resisted the rice, mac & cheese, bread, fried chicken, and dessert! Ate baked chicken, collard greens, fresh sliced tomatoes, and onions! Drank water!

12/25: 213.7 Thank God for allowing us to celebrate another Christmas! I cooked and I ate what I cooked; it was so delicious! I even ate two, yes two, pieces of caramel cake. Tomorrow is a new day, so I will enjoy today, while it is today!

    12/26: 216.7
I post with a smile! I enjoyed yesterday; now back on track! Hope everyone enjoyed your family and loved ones during Christmas like I did! Thank God, His mercies are new E V E R Y day!!!

Good morning everyone! Christmas is right around the corner, and I have this amazing tray of cookies, caramel, and fudge that all of us staff and our parents made. I haven't even ate a single one of them either in the 3 days it's been home. Sure, I've given them to my children and my husband to nibble on, but I've stayed away. I'm so proud! Honestly, it was so hard when I first started dieting to stay away from all of that sweet stuff, especially chocolate, but not anymore. I don't even crave it except on very rare occasions. I never thought that would be possible.

12/19: 165.4 Haven't been drinking well and was pretty sedentary most of the day. I was in a lot of meetings all day.
12/20 164.2 Stomach is upset this morning. I hope it passes.
12/21 164.4 I am incredibly stressed out right now, and I wonder if it will ever stop.
12/22 164.4 Another stressful day. I just want things to calm down.
12/23 163.4 Who knew that even more could happen to cause stress. I have two really hard decisions to make in the next couple of days and weeks. I pray that God will point me in the right direction.
12/24 163.6 Merry Christmas Eve! Spent the day at the prompt care. My 9 year old son has the flu. My 14 year old daughter has a URI, and my 14 year old son has a viral bug. Whew!
12/25 163.8 I have spent all day washing dishes and picking up Christmas trash. I haven't been eating well, sleeping well, or drinking well. Honestly everyone, I'm in a funk. I cry a lot anymore, and I can't stand it. Anyhow, Merry Christmas! I hope you all enjoy your time with family and friends. Thank you for being so amazing!
12/26 165.2 What in the world?! I don't get it. I'm avoiding all treats and eating healthy when I do eat. I did reach my calorie goal yesterday, which was a surprise and pushed 32 oz of water.

    ROUND 22 starting weight 185.6
    ROUND 23 starting weight 184.7
    ROUND 24 starting weight 184.2
    ROUND 25 starting weight 184.4
    ROUND 26 starting weight 185.8

    12 / 19 - 185.8...Maintaining my weight at 185. I'm becoming more aware, so maybe I'll start losing?
    12 / 20 - 184.5...Heading into Christmas with a lower weight would be good.
    12 / 21 - 186.4....Had a Choir Practice/Christmas Party last night....too many nibblies' = weight gain!
12 / 22 - 185.8... OK, that's a bit better, but I need to pull up my socks if I want a loss over Christmas
    12 / 23 - 185.4.....Christmas dinner tonight with Step-daughters & Son's in law
12 / 24 - 189.0.....Guess I enjoyed myself a little too much? Luckily I have no other dinners to attend
Christmas Day - 190.0.....Guess I thought all would be good after Saturday's dinner.....WRONG!
    12 / 26 - 187.5....back on track and raring to go!
    12 / 27 -
    12 / 28 -

My ultimate goal is 170lbs, so any loss is a good loss.

I'm staring this round very late. I've been sick for so long and so sore and yucky that I've not been weighing.

Goal for this round: Get back on track, lose the bloating and see 189 on Jan 1. (I don't want to spend 1 day of 2018 at 190+)

My goal is to reach 10% body fat by year end... actually by 12/30 because that is when my Dexa is scheduled. I'm going to list weight and BF% based on my scale, which is going to fluctuate at times as diet changes. On some days - and I know when those are based on diet - it will be inaccurate.

This will be my last round because I plan to switch to maintenance on 12/31 regardless of body fat % (it would still be nice to reach 10%, but I realize Dexa is unforgiving and that is a really tough goal).

    Round 22:
    Day - Weight - BF% - Comment
    11/9 - 149.6 lbs. - 16.8% - scale is reading higher than actual BF%

11/10 - 148.4 lbs. - 15.9% - scale is still higher than actual BF%, but getting closer to actual

    11/11 - 147.2 lbs. - 16.9% - scale is higher than actual BF%, this time not expected

11/12 - 148.6 - 16.8% - scale is still showing higher than actual BF%, still not entirely expected. I have a theory as to what is driving the incorrectly high BF%.

11/13 - 148.6 lbs. - 18.5% - Yesterday was a re-feed / glycogen replenishment day. I'm surprised weight did not also increase, but expected BF% to be unreliable. I expect it to remain that way for the next 2-3 days.

11/14 - 147.2 lbs. - 16.4% - Depending on whether I eat a lot of fibrous green vegetables today, BF% will either stay pretty stable by tomorrow morning or will decrease. I may find it hard to feel full without lettuce or green beans... but since scale BF% is just artificially high if I eat them and real BF% is not truly much different, I'm probably going to eat greens if I'm hungry anyway.

    11/15 - 146.4 - 15.6% - No veg yesterday, scale is closer to a correct BF%.

11/16 - 146.2 lbs. - 14.9% - No veg yesterday again, and BF% is almost right where I would expect Dexa to come up. The idea that eating low carb green / fibrous veggies would affect the scale BF% so much is a relatively new revelation. Thinking back, the last Dexa was 0.3% lower than the scale on that same day (that is extremely close); and my scale is ALWAYS higher than any other measurement method or device - including other bio-electric impedance devices, which are always super low. When that last Dexa was taken and it was almost the same as the scale, I had not eaten plants for 45 days prior (except coffee, tea, and small quantities of seasonings and sauces). I still plan to eat some low carb (net carb) fibrous veggies while I continue to strive for 10% BF by 12/30, but will do take breaks occasionally to get a better idea of where Dexa will come in.

11/17 - 147.8 lbs. - 13.9% - Slight weight increase, not sure why... probably water weight. Another day without veg and BF% is spot on as close as I'm going to get to being real. Tomorrow is going to be high again based on today's planned diet.

11/18- 146.0 lbs. - 15.4% - Did not expect weight to decrease, but expected reported BF% to rise.

    Round 23:
    Day - Weight - BF% - Comment
    11/19 - 145.8 lbs. - 13.5% - Did not expect BF% to drop this much this fast.

11/20 - 147.6 lbs. - 16.2% - Both increases were expected based on yesterday's food plan. Should see decrease over the next few days until Fri. morning, which will go back up again.

    11/21 - 147.0 lbs. - 15.7% - Expected a small decrease. Expect another small decrease tomorrow.

    11/22 - 146.6 lbs. - 15.3%

    11/23 - 145.6 lbs. - 14.8% - Will be higher tomorrow.

11/24 - 147.2 lbs. - 14.4% - Did not expect BF to decrease, but maybe that is delayed...

    11/25 - 145.8 lbs. - 15.2% - There is the delayed fat storage.

11/26 - 145.2 lbs. - 15.7% - Did not expect another rise in BF%, but I can only assume it is continued delayed fat build. Tomorrow will be higher probably of both weight and BF.

    11/27 - 146.4 lbs. - 17.0% - Increases expected.

11/28 - 150.4 lbs. - 14.6% - Had a spontaneous free meal yesterday and paying for it with weight gain - meal itself was probably around 4-5 lbs., including water in food... so this is about right.

    Round 24:
11/29 - 149.4 lbs. - 14.9% - For this round, I'm going to make a few changes. I'm not sure exactly what to expect at the beginning, but should have lower BF% by the end of the 10 days.

    11/30 - 146.2 lbs. - 14.9%

    12/1 - 144.4 lbs. - 14.7%

12/2 - 144.8 lbs. - 13.3% - I'm thinking this is about right again for BF%, but let's see if that holds for the next few days without changes that affect the scale calculation.

12/3 - 142.2 lbs. - 16.1% - BF definitely reading too high, but not sure why this time.

12/4 - 143.2 lbs. - 16.2% - Definitely unexpected BF... consistent with yesterday, but still incorrectly high. Unsure why.

12/5 - 140.4 lbs. - 14.9% - Some time in the bathroom this morning revealed what I think is causing the suddenly abnormally high BF% (no, not pregnant, lol). Solved part of the issue this morning, but still some to go.

12/6 - 140.2 lbs. - 12.9% - Before measuring today, spent a bit more time in the bathroom getting rid of more of what is causing the false high BF% readings.

    12/7 - 141.4 lbs. - 13.1%

12/8 - 139.8 lbs. - 13.5% - I was expecting to start this round with some wonky numbers; but end up close to accurate and drastically improved weight and body fat %. Ended up losing 10.6 lbs.; about 3-4 lbs. of which was fat. I struggled in the first couple years of dieting where tracking calories didn't work and nobody could figure out why; but much learning and experimentation and I consider myself to know my body very well now and can call myself a very advanced dieter. That said, the 10% body fat goal by 12/30 is still going to be very difficult and a tight goal... but I believe it is possible.

*Next round will once again start with some high and wonky numbers at first and end up drastically better by the end.

    Round 25:
This round should start with some high and wonky numbers, but should be drastically better by the end.

    12/9 - 139.4 lbs. - 13.9% - Surprised it isn't higher, but might catch up.

12/10 - 150.0 lbs. - 13.3% - Weight has caught up, body fat should increase soon, I would expect.

12/11 - 149.6 lbs. - 10.9% - Not sure I believe the BF%; so let's see what happens. I expected it to increase along with weight.

12/12 - 147.4 lbs. - 11.0% - Surprised BF is remaining... eventually, perhaps I'll start figuring it is correct.

    12/13 - 145.8 lbs. - 11.2%

    12/14 - 143.4 lbs - 11.2% - Looks like consistency on BF%.

12/15 - 141.6 lbs. - 12.6% - This is what I get for eating salad yesterday... an inflated BF% result. I know it isn't real, but still gets to me. :(

    12/16 - 141.6 lbs. - 11.9% BF.

    12/17 - 143.2 lbs. - 11.0%

    12/18 - 140.8 lbs. - 11.3%

12/19 - 142.8 lbs. - 9.9% - I am not convinced this is right... still plan to lose a bit more and watch BF% fluctuations.

    12/20 - 141.0 lbs. - 10.4%

12/21 - 144.2 lbs. - 13.0% - Inaccurately high today due to yesterday's diet. Tomorrow should be even higher.

    12/22 - 146.0 lbs. - 12.4% - May see a bit higher tomorrow with some lag.

    12/23 - 146.2 lbs. - 11.3% - I did not expect BF% to drop again so quickly.

    12/24 - 144.8 lbs. - 12.3% - Perhaps delayed a bit more than expected.

12/25 - 146.0 lbs. - 12.3% - Weight is up and BF% is consistent, but I need to lose 3.7 lbs. of fat in both cases to reach 10% BF. Hopefully this will return to a more accurate number soon. If this is, in fact, correct instead of an inflated measurement as I believe, then I will not likely reach 10% by Sat.

    12/26 - 142.0 lbs. - 12.6% - Well, this is frustrating.

12/19 - 188.6 - It's going to be a cold week and hard to move for me. But I'm gonna do my best.
12/20 - 188.2 - Had some elliptical time and a nice walk yesterday.
12/21 - 188.6 - Lots of salt yesterday. More elliptical time. My scale is acting a little weird gave me a reading way too high - higher than I weighed myself yesterday at the gym with all my clothes and shoes on - then way too low. Then back to this.
12/22 - 190.4 - Weight workout yesterday, too much salt, too much cold, feeling bloated
    12/23 - 189 - Better. Nice to be under 190 for Christmas.
    12/24 - 188.4 - Even nicer!
12/25 - 188.4 - Holding after a lot of salt yesterday. Merry Christmas everybody.
12/26 - 187.6 - Seems to be a legit reading. I sometimes feel very suspicious of my scale.

Round 26 - last chance for 2017
Started this year @ 112 lbs. Have been working on losing back to my normal weight of 104-107 lbs for the past 10 years!
    Goal Weight: 105 lbs.

    12/19 106.2
12/20 105.6 - 1500 Calories! Having annual labs drawn today. The weight loss should improve by Cholesterol and A1C
12/21 105.9 - Going to get my Dexa-scan today (osteopenia) but the report will also show my body fat percent.

12/22 106.6 - ate >1900 Calories yesterday, dark chocolate, dried fruit with cashews and red wine were worth it.

Weighed prior to the Dexa-scan middle of the day: 107.7 lbs. The great news was that my height taken at the appointment was unchanged. Body Fat on the home scale was 22% (usually 24% due to dehydration in the morning). Will be fun to compare my scale (22%) to my Dexa results.

    12/23 105.3 - unexpected . . .
    12/24 106.2 - expected . . .
Exercise first, then to the store to pick up missing items for dinner tonight. Pre-prepared lots of dishes yesterday but the coordination of the feast can still be tricky. Cheers Everyone!!!

12/25 - forgot due to travel schedule.

12/26 107.9 lbs very expected but not alarming

@brightresolve Congratulations on your Christmas goal!! You might have a bounce up but YOU’VE GOT THIS!

@nikki062181 I’m sorry you are suffering from your recent loss. My MIL passed 9 years ago today. She had had dementia for some time and so, truly we had lost her long before. Eventually you will remember the good times and be happy you had those and you will smile when you think of your Mom.

@ggilson13 my experience has always been that the gains take 2 or 3 days to show on the scale. Stick to your plan and the gains should be reversed a few days later.

12/19 147 Finally feeling somewhat better. Too many things to do to get ready to leave on Christmas trip tomorrow.
12/20 146.5 Now my husband is sick. I knew he wasn’t feeling well when I came home and packing hadn’t begun!
12/21 147 but it was the middle of the night. Couldn’t find a comfortable place to sleep. We were supposed to be on the road to OK but are still both sick. UGH!!!
12/22 146.5 Both sick and I know I’m not eating enough. Don’t care.
12/23 144.5 I had been way below calories and macros earlier this week but made myself eat anyway. I also started using a different app which gave me MORE calories! Hope this isn’t a fluke.
**The last time I was this weight was between 11/15/11 and 11/22/11!
12/24 145.5 I’m okay with this. After being sick for a week I ate twice yesterday and SALT tasted so good! Hopefully we’re on the road to recovery and will be able to make our Christmas trip in a couple of days. And just that quickly I feel like crap again.
12/25 143.5 MERRY CHRISTMAS! Still not feeling up to par but surviving.
12/26 144.0 We had steak for Christmas dinner!

"Don't be upset by the results you didn't get from the work you didn't do." - Orebela Gbenga

    Start 10/18/2017 = 147.9 * Goal = 130.0 and 20 miles/week
    R22 * Start = 143.4 * Ave = 141.9 * Min = 140.2 * End = 141.2
    R23 * Start = 142.0 * Ave = 140.1 * Min = 139.4 * End = 139.6
    R24 * Start = 140.0 * Ave = 138.6 * Min = 137.0 * End = 137.0
    R25 * Start = 136.6 * Ave = 137.0 * Min = 135.8 * End = 135.8

    R26 * Start = 136.6 Goal: 135.0 by 12/25 CHECK (but bounce is expected)

12/19 - 136.6 - Under calories yesterday, no workout, got diagnosed with a stye so 1) on antibiotics and 2) stay away from the gym for others' sakes and 3) when I go back to the gym, wipe those machines before as well as after I use them!
12/20 - 136.4 - under calories yesterday, no workout, but got all the Christmas boxes off (well almost). Feeling better, tonight a workout and early to bed.
    12/21 - 134.8 - Whooosh! I bounce a lot but I will take this.
12/22 - 135.4 - expected rebound. Good workout yesterday, (barely) within calories. THANKS FOR KEEPING ME MOTIVATED, posting on this thread helps me!
12/23 - 134.8 - Under calories and solid workout yesterday. Maybe I am gonna get my "135 for 12/25" goal after all.
12/24 - 136.2 - Under calories and no workout yesterday, too busy running around on errands! No worries. Today, logging and getting a quick run.
12/25 - 135.0 - Really happy about making my 135.0 goal for Christmas. And it's kinda funny how exact it was. Ran 2.4 yesterday and knee was a little touchy, well under maintenance for the day and that included some Christmas cookies.

12/26 - 135.2 - REALLY dehydrated, already drank a quart of water. Yesterday no workout and did not log the main meal, I know I was super over because Christmas treat! Back to it today.

    Day/Weight/Comment
12/19 218.5 Starting at a good place, going to work hard at staying here (or lower) for the next 10 days!
    12/20 218.5
12/21 218.5. Even after the cookies and sushi I ate yesterday! Drinking lots of water today and moving!
12/22 216.8 Ummmm. Hmmmm. Yes I drank lots of water, yes I was moving most of the day, but I will expect this to bounce back up. It was a fun number to wake up to this morning, though!
12/23 218.0 There's the bounce back! Still, lower than Thurs. First round of our family Christmases today! Wish me luck, my in-laws always have great food!
12/24 218.0 Well, I'm still here, but I'm expecting to see a gain by Tuesday. Frankly, I'm not even going to be upset! I love my family and I love spending time with them. If that puts me in a position where my willpower is tested, I'll do it every time.
12/25 219.6 Yep, was expecting this. Also, my TOM decided now was the perfect time to show up, so I have that going for me. It's totally ok though, tomorrow is a new day!
12/26 219.6 Okay, holidays are almost over, my birthday is around the corner, and I'm ready to get back on track! I promised myself a new hair do when I've lost 10% of the weight and so I need to push forward to 212. :star:

Back for another round. :) Need to get enough water each day, do some exercise, and get some decent sleep!

    Round 25: 159.1

    12/19: 158.2 :)
12/20: 158.7 1 out of 3 yesterday... I did get some good sleep last night. But not nearly enough water, no exercise, and a high calorie dinner. I feel even worse this morning. Just gotta hold on for a few days and then I have 11 days off from work! Don't know how I will manage 18 people at my house for Christmas eve, though... lots of water and vitamin C.
12/21: 159.6 Was so busy did not get a chance to check in!
12/22: 160.9 Oh boy. This is not a surprise! Had our dept. Christmas party last night. I don't think I need to go into detail. :s But... CHEESE! That is certainly my weakness. Today will be hard because I need to u-turn and get back on track. Hoping all the stuff I need to do today will keep me from eating mindlessly.
12/23: 160.3 Drank a lot of water yesterday, did a lot of running around. Still managed to eat cookies while baking with my son last night. Woke up feeling old this morning. Not in a vain way... just more like... crap, I'm tired! I think my body is not liking food as a coping mechanism anymore because yesterday (post-cheese and wine party) I just felt horrible! I think I did have a true hangover! :s
    12/24: 160.3
    12/25: 163.3 :o
12/26: 161.3 My SIL made beef wellington for Christmas dinner. Decadent! I hope everyone had a nice holiday. It sounds like many of us are dedicated to getting back at it and starting out the new year strong. I am determined to get back into the 150s before the end of the year. o:)

    Female, 5'4"
    Starting Weight: 135 lbs
Goal Weight: 115 lbs - Met

I met my goal weight a few weeks ago. My new goal now is to maintain to stay close to 115 on average. I've also decided that I'm going to allow alcohol in moderation & see how it goes.

Goal This Round: Maintain 115 lbs Average

    12/19 • 117 • Ran 3.5 miles & lifted weights. 1300 cal.
    12/20 • 115 • Ran 3.5 miles & lifted weights. 1500 cal.
    12/21 • 115 • Ran 3.5 miles & lifted weights. 1300 cal.
12/22 • 115 • Ran 3.5 miles & lifted weights. 1300 cal. My body seems to like this weight, which is a good thing :)
12/23 • 115 • Ran 3.5 miles & lifted weights. 1600 cal. Day 1 of traveling. Ate way too many sweets.
    12/24 • 114 • Day 2 of traveling. Walked 3 miles. 1150 cal. 2 servings of alcohol. Ate clean.
12/25 • 114 • Day 3 of traveling. I tend to lose weight during vacations. Ran 2.5 miles & lifted weights. Rode bike for 1.5 hours. 1650 cal. 3 servings of alcohol. Huge piece of pecan pie.
12/26 • 113 • A new low! Wow, I have no idea where that came from. Day 4 of traveling. Ran 3.5 miles & lifted weights. 1650 cal. 1 serving of alcohol. 3 servings of dessert. Got a little carried away with the sweets.

    12/19 - 136.4 - a new low
    12/20 - 137.2
12/21 - 138.8 - Hen do last night, eat loads of lovely food. I'll eat clean today.
12/22 - 138.0 - didn't eat clean....I think that's going to be a recurring theme over the next few days.
12/23 - 138.4 - Wedding done, now just need to get through Christmas without too much gain.
    12/24 - 138.4

Goal this round = maintain -- my birthday is Friday and then Christmas. I don't plan to overdo the goodies, but I do intend to enjoy.

    Goal 140 by 2/17; UGW 130 by 6/30
    5'3", 64 yrs.
    Weight 2/2015 - 218
Lost 68#, regained 12 (to 156) on metabolism reset 11/16-6/17.

    R21 end weight 149
    R22 end weight 148
    R23 end weight 148.4
    R24 end weight 149
    R25 end weight 148.4
    R26 goal 148.4 (maintain)

    12/19 - 149
Not a surprise - we went out for lunch yesterday and I know my sodium was high and I feel bloated.

    12/20 - 149
Definitely retaining water - I feel bloated.

    12/21 - 148.6
    That's better.

    12/22 - 148.6
Going out for birthday lunch today, but I have my order planned - broiled seafood, veggies, and probably a dessert, no bread or potatoes. If the rain holds off I'll go for a walk later - had a good one yesterday. Thanks @quiltingjaine for remembering. :-)

    12/23 - 148.6
Very happy with this since I had a major pig out yesterday - lunch out, with dessert - reasonably healthy but lots of calories - and then had a piece of cake and some other goodies later (hey, birthday stuff!) and had about 900 extra calories. I expect to bounce up tomorrow, but I'm ok with that. I'd just like to finish the round where I started. I'm not a sweet freak, but I do plan to have some fun!

    12/24 - 149
    As expected. It's all good!
MERRY CHRISTMAS - Ho Ho Ho! And happy holidays, too -- all of them. <3

    12/25 - 149
Merry Christmas, all! I plan to enjoy the food - not many sweets here, but I did bake a mince pie and some shortbread. I'm actually staying close to my maintenance calories, just more carbs than usual. Beautiful weather, so I'm off for a walk. Enjoy your day!

    12/26 - 149.2
I absolutely enjoyed two generous servings (lunch and evening) of the mincemeat pie I baked and a couple of pieces of shortbread, plus a healthy dinner of turkey, a bit of dressing, gravy, sweet potatoes (steamed, not candied), brussel sprouts (steamed), cranberry sauce (homemade - cranberries + fruit-only blueberry spread - delish!) I went for a lovely hour's walk along the river, and otherwise just chilled with my hubby & doggy, knitting and reading. Today I'm back on track with the eating (yes, leftovers, but all healthy) and hopefully a walk (although it looks like rain, of course - Oregon!). Don't know that I'll make my goal to maintain, but I don't think I'll be too much over, either. I hope you all had a delicious Christmas if you celebrate, and lovely day if not. <3

Hello! This will be my first round ever, and I’m so excited to join in!

    OSW (4/25/17): 320
    R26SW: 265.4

I’m leaving in the morning for a 2- or 3-day road trip to my home town for the holidays. The next 10 days will be a triple challenge for me, as my weaknesses are travel, holidays, and family. I’m going to rock this!

    12/19 - 264.5
Yay! Starting strong! I haven’t left for my road trip yet though. Best laid plans, right?? Haha! Oh well, more time to prepare healthy food for the road!

    12/20 - 264.5
No problem here! I drove for 5 hours yesterday and while I didn’t completely follow my food plans for the day, I did take frequent breaks to stretch and walk around. I was also really diligent about hydrating and not mindlessly snacking. Now to keep it up for the longer haul today!

    12/21 - 263.0
Happy surprise loss! Yesterday’s drive was about 12 hours. I had a hard time staying within my calories, but I allowed myself to go over a bit because I felt legitimately hungry and decided to listen to my body. I also prioritized water and tons of breaks for walking around. I have 5-6 more hours of driving today, depending on mountain road conditions. Can’t wait to get there tonight and see my family!

    12/22 - 263.0
Made it home! I’m about to go meet my brother for breakfast, and I’m going to do everything I can to stay on track!

    12/23 - 263.0
Went a bit off course yesterday, but I’m happy it didn’t seem to affect my weigh-in today. And I’ve made up for it today by sticking to the plan while relaxing!

    12/24 - 262.2
Yay! Spent the day hiking with family, so I’m feeling like I’ve earned a slice of Christmas Eve pie!

    12/25 - 262.2
    Merry Christmas, everyone!

    12/26 - 262.2
I’m kind of surprised I didn’t gain, since I ate more than planned yesterday. I’ll take it!

Here we go - going down forever now!

Goal for this round is 217 – I need to start figuring weekend out from here on!

12/19 – 217.8 – Say it with me – finally I am on the move and going to lose this 10-day period, even with the 5 days off. I am motivated to do so and I WILL!!!

    12/20 – 217.8 – holding my own

12/21 – 218.4 – honestly how do people keep this up I feel so defeated! I don’t know if I can do this ☹ I guess we will see how bad the 26th is. Maybe I am meant to be the fat girl in a small town.

12/22 – no weigh in – staying at my daughters babysitting the granddaughter’s – Please keep me strong!

12/23 - no weigh in – staying at my daughters babysitting the granddaughter’s – Please keep me strong!

12/24 – 219.2 – well I did not do to bad this past week – honestly I thought it was going to be worse – so I am going to hang on for a few more days and then hit it hard on Tuesday

12/25 – 220.4 – OUCH is all I can say – thank goodness tomorrow I am ready to get my *kitten* together!!!!

12/26 – 219.8 – Okay here we go – two days to take off another pound is doable especially if I can get my butt in gear and start exercising!

10 Day Goal: 144.XX ? I would love to lose weight over the holidays, but I think maintaining is probably more achievable. I'm still going to give it a go though.

    Day/Weight/Comment
12/19- 145.42 I'm doing ok with sticking to my calorie goal, but I need to find time to get back to exercising.
12/20- 144.76 DH and I agreed to fill the stockings this year with a few pieces of really nice chocolate rather than filling them to the brim with tons of sweets and treats. Less temptation in the house is a good thing.
    12/21-144.76
12/22-144.76 My joints have been aching and swollen for the past 2 days. My sodium hasn't been high so I'm guessing I just need more water.
12/23-146.3 Far too much Christmas cheer followed by late night snacking.
12/24 My parent's came in from out of the country. It has been nonstop at my house. Attempting to measure and record what I'm eating, but it is tough.
12/25 Went over my calorie goal by more than 1,000. Really disappointed in myself. I didn't expect to stick to my calorie goal, but the number is just out of control. I need to learn to celebrate without stuffing my face.
12/26 Haven't weighed in days. Noticed today my pants were already tight. I need to do better tomorrow.

My lowest weight so far, I saw it so briefly back in Round 24. This time I want to keep moving in the right direction! Did well today, resisted all the goodies left in my inbox.
    12/22: 159.0
I know it's early to claim this, there are still fluctuations to come, but this weight puts me in the "normal" BMI category, and I've been happy about it all day. This is a major goal a long time coming.
    12/23: 159.5
Totally normal fluctuation, I hope I stay in this neighborhood. Had a good day, no sugar, ate well, good on protein, a little exercise, 2L water.
    12/24: 159.0
    Another good day.
    12/25: 158.5
I didn't eat to the point of being uncomfortable and I did some walking, but mostly I didn't even try to stick to any rules today. I'm sure I'll go up tomorrow but hopefully it won't take long to regain lost ground. Had a nice holiday, I hope you all did, too.

    12/26: 160.0
    Yup. Back on track today.

Love this challenge! You guys help me keep up the motivation to make the right choices each day (and goodness knows this is the 10 days I'm gonna need it the most).

    Historical Start weight: 252 lb.
    End weight Rnd 24: 225.6
    End weight End 25: 221.6

Short term weight goal: limit the holiday gain to 0-5 lb gain BUT be realistic and forgiving if it end up being more.

Short term life goal: have am excellent holiday season

    Day/Weight/Comment

12/19 - 220.2 - NSV - after what feels like weeks of eating sandwiches and previously made meal preps from earlier this month, I finally had time to make dinner after work. Usually it's draining but it's nice to not have to microwave dinner.
12/20 - 219.6 - NSV - steps in, only gave into the cookie cravings a few time.
12/21 - 218.8 - let the wooing begin!! Whatever, I haven't seen the 218 on the scale for over 10 years so I'm pretty damn proud at the moment, and you can't bring me down today. Don't worry, it'll go up at Christmas cause I'm going to eat all the turkey and I'll also be petty happy with myself then too.
12/22 - 219.6 - looks like I'm regulating and this also probably marks the start of the alcohol consumption bump (I do hope the concerned wooing folks are feeling better now ;) ), seems even one drink spikes the scales which is normal for me. Since I'll be having a few for the next few days I'm expecting the rest of this round might be gains, which is fine, it's the holidays and I'll be back to a regular routine again in January.
12/23 - 220.2 - the alcohol bump continues, to be expected, but I got my steps in so I'm satisfied.
12/24 - 218.6 - I think something weird happened to my scale cause this doesn't seem accurate, but it's the number that appeared so that's what's here. Didn't get my steps in and ate all the yummy Christmas goodies, but I did drink lots of water and only had one glass of wine. I don't think I went overboard so I'm happy.
12/25 - ? - home for the holidays without the scale but good money says it's up. Didn't hit any goals and ate all the food but it's Christmas and I'm willing to work a little harder next year in order to enjoy this time with my family. Won't have numbers for the rest of this round, but will still check in for goals.
12/26 ? - still home without my scale, still eating treats so likely that number is rising. I did however get my liquids in and did two walks today and went over my step goals, plus no alcohol consumption today! Maybe I'll completely miss the alcohol bump by the time I get home.
