anyone trying to eat clean or interested in doing a Daniel fast? I have thought about trying but wondered what the results are, if they're worth it, and if anyone wants to team up?? I am trying to cut the bad from my diet...if I can just get rid of the cravings I have for caffeine and sugar maybe the weight will drop..worth a try I guess. Opinions?

    I already eat clean, and I LOVE IT! I feel so much better and no cravings for bad stuff. I don't know what a Daniel Fast is, but you should check out the movie Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead, it is a story of two men who go on extended juice fast, like 6 months long! You should try it, it's a good way to reset and keep cravings at bay. They have a website http://jointhereboot.com/

    This is a face book page on the Daniel fast, I did this at the begining of the year, You will lose but you have to be careful afterwards not to gain it all back. Good Luck

    1. Only fruits and vegetables
    2. Only water for a beverage
    3. No sweeteners and no breads

    I think it's for 21 days

    A daniel fast is eating ONLY plant based foods and ONLY drinking water.. It can be done without the religious aspect of prayer. It essentially just eliminates all meats and "processed junk". Basically just a clean diet meatfree

    our congregation usually does a Daniel fast beginning the end of august or beginning of september. Her book is "21 days to Life" by Sonja Brown. She lost 50 pounds and kept it off!
