On 7/5/17 pulled 265 for 5. I started lifting on 5/5/17 but this is a good place to judge from.
On 12/6/17 I pulled 405 for 5 and finished with 475 for 1. That was an amazing day at gym but I can do 475 for 2 now but haven’t maxed in a while. Warmups are now 135x10, 225x5, 315x5, 405x3 and I move into reps in the mid 400’s. Got a below knees rack pulls today at 545 so I am definitely getting strong at weak point. I pull conventional.1 -
I only started lifting mid-Sept. 2017 but I just looked back to see what I've accomplished in the last few months.
Squats - up 30 lbs
Bench - up 30 lbs
Deads - up 80 lbs
Overhead Press - up 20 lbs
Barbell Row - up 35 lbs
I've been feeling a bit discouraged with my lifting lately but looking back I can see that I've at least made some progress.2 -

Deads: 300 to 385
Squat: Not much progress, working on form issues
Bench: 135 to 170 (if I can count slingshot, 187.4 )

A little charity one tomorrow. There's only 17 lifters. Since I was sick last week, I'm not expecting much.0 -
Deads: up by 120 lbs (although I was a complete scrub at the beginning of 2017)2

Oh, come on. Quit teasing. What's the total #?0 -
BB rows. Sets went from 70# to 135#2

Hip thrust! As silly as it is, my first time I was doing just the bar (I had no barbell pad) but kept falling/losing balance and wasn't sure how to set it up to actually get reps started. I teared up a little cause I was getting so frustrated that when I went to grab weights after giving up and moving to the next exercise, I dropped a 25 lb weight on my big toe. SO I went from that to doing some reps of 200 lbs last night
I've progressed with bench but I have always been okay there, so not a huge jump. Squat I worked on form a lot and have been doing well but nothing to boast about3 -

Great job! A bar pad is definitely a must for hip thrusts!!!1 -

That's it. I just wanna show the boys in the weight room I'm a boss at bench. All my other lifts are decent.1 -

I'll be stoked when I get to 115 (and even more stoked at 135). I don't really do one rep max on bench because I don't want to have to roll out from under it if I don't get it but I did 3 reps of 100 lbs today. Can't wait until I get 5x5 @ 100 lbs.1 -

That's awesome!!!
I usually have a spotter, but when I did my 115, I was alone and on a bench that wasn't the normal kind I use. I did one rep then couldn't rerack the bar. Ended up doing the roll of shame.2 -

Yeah, I've had to do the roll of shame before and I just don't want to have to do it if I don't have to. I can ask one of the other regulars to spot me if I really want to go for it and test my 1 rep max.2 -

I think everyone's who has benched for any amount of time has done the roll of shame. The fun part is the heavier you bench, the more the roll of shame actually hurts.2 -

LOL. 1RM 280 lbs right now. Medium term goal of 300.3 -
About a year ago I hit a 1RM for squat at 250lb, a couple of days ago I did 250lb for 7 sets of 4-5 reps, my goal is 300lb by my next comp in March.
This was after dealing with a very horrific year of losing my beloved grandmother, getting pneumonia and shingles.2 -
I finally got to 315 bench last year. Just last week I was able to get 345, so +30 lbs on bench is probably the biggest jump I've had.3
-
Hands down has to be squats. I added 100 lbs. to my squat. I went from 135 lbs. in June 2016 to 235 lbs. in October 2017. Not bad for a 58 year old lol6
