I'm 10 days in and I think I'm doing pretty good. I love the extra support these posts bring to the plate.2

I’m 7 Days in. Think I hit Keto Flu today. Only have small ketones in my urine. Struggling with the lack of snacks. And “on the go” foods. Any suggestions?0

A friend of mine who has been on the keto diet for awhile now has told me to make sure I drink plenty of water and when I start to feel out of sorts to up my sodium, magnesium and potassium levels! I hope this helps and you start to feel better soon!

just started Keto and learning alot as i go , today i am going to try to start my first fast. i thought i was doing right before, but i just learned caffeine is a no,no when fasting.0

Beef jerky, meat sticks, cheese, peanut butter, hard boiled eggs (boil a dozen or so on the weekends and just grab-and go when you want one), stuff like this all works. Leafy greens also work - broccoli, cauliflower, celery, etc.
If you are having 'keto flu' that is a sign that you are not eating enough salt to replenish what you are losing - keto causes the body to dump all of the water you stored with your glycogen in the muscles (it take 4 grams of water to store 1 gram of glucose in the muscles) and you body naturally dumps salt and other electrolytes with the water - eat more salt!4 -
