I’m actually rereading for the 1000th time (first time being 8 years old), The Hobbit. It is still one of my absolute favorites.0

Behold the Dreamers by Imbolo Mbue. I'm only about a fourth of the way through, but so far it's the best book I've read in a long time.1

Currently reading Wuthering Heights in spurts because sometimes the characters are just too much to handle. Like, can you just relax for a second?1

In my old age I have devolved almost entirely to non fiction. Always loved history and now have time t o explore science and space.
One of the great advantages of old age, neh?1 -

I have lots of books started and am in the process of finishing them all up before I start a new one. (Somehow I get distracted and a book catches my eye and I just start it before finishing what I am reading.)
Now:
The Name of the Wind - Patrick Rothfuss (it was mentioned earlier)
The Story of Edgar Sawtelle - David Wroblewski
Weight Training for Dummies - But this one I may not finish right away, just read off and on0 -

IT by Stephen King.
I grew up obsessed with the tv miniseries but my parents wisely didn't let me read the book at the tender age of 8. When the new movie was announced I decided to pick the book up, now at a much less psychologically fragile age lol. I am about 2/3 of the way through it so far and really enjoying it.2 -

I loved that novel; Heathcliff was a refreshing change from the usual dull leads. I wish Emily Brontë had a chance to write more, such a shame.
Currently reading To Kill a Mockingbird. Glad it's a quick read, it's not quite lived up to expectation, unfortunately.1 -
The Saga of the Comstock Lode. My library has an excellent local history section. I'm also reading Night Watch by Terry Pratchett. My husband finally talked me into reading the Discworld series and I'm so glad.0

Borrowed Red Notice by Bill Browder from a friend. A bit different that my usual area of interest. It's about an investor's work in the development of emerging financial markets following political change in Russia.0
