It's not going to result in weight loss (unless you happen to also be in a deficit).
Just skip the vinegar and focus on the deficit.4 -

Apple cider with old fashioned donut diet. I did this for most of my teen years and I GAINED weight. Definite fraud.11

How do people repeatedly fall for this crap?..2

My very fit, healthy sister actually got very, very ill from doing this. I wouldn't recommend.1

I did find that mixing a little apple cider vinegar, a small amount of honey and a plenty of water helped quench my thirst and control my appetite quickly. So, I was less likely to want snacks between meals.10

Apple cider diet
I'm tempted to try it
Heh, that was my thought.1 -
I use it in my hair to strip buildup.
Works awesome for that!2 -
no this is terrible. I tried it once, the apple cider is so awful and hard to keep it down. I couldn't even smell it without gagging.1
-
I love apple cider! Yum! But it's pretty high calorie so...but then again, it will clean you out if you drink enough of it, much more pleasant than vinegar.

i drink it but it doesnt make you lose weight, only creating a calorie deficit will do that. I drink it in the am in my green tea it helps to keep my appetite at bay in the am until I get to eat my breakfast. So if you wish to try to help get your appetite at bay i say go for it but if you think drinking it will help lost weight that it wont do.
Either way its your choice do what you wish, everyone is different.1 -
Apple cider? Are we talking the hard kind? Because I'm on that diet-it's delicious.2
-
Where's that ribs recipe?2
-
Tried the gin diet ..... so far I’ve lost three days! Been on the Apple cider diet since my teens.
As for cider vinegar? It’s another fad diet that’s just a load of rubbish, dieting’s all about a calorie deficit.4 -

Mmmm it's my favorite fall drink! I love the Red's Green Apple Ale though! But ACV is wonderful but i wouldn't ingest it.0
-
Is this about ACV or actual apple cider?
I quite like apple cider - the brand I drink is somersby, a light easy drinking cider.
They make pear and blackberry cider too.

I don’t know anything about the diet but there was a doctor on my news yesterday that said there are enough tests and studies behind it that she gave it a thumbs up. Whatever that means. Lol3

I'm assuming this is about actual apple cider and not vinegar until and unless OP comes back to say otherwise. I take titles seriously and it's not like there's an ACV "diet" to my knowledge!2

@winogelato LOL, no it was a doctor on my local news but that’s funny1

I absolutely use Apple Cider Vinegar to clean the detergent dispenser in my washing machine. Works better than soap for some reason. I also use it mixed along with baking soda to clean the inside of my copper pots. Fantastic cleaning agent...bad diet though.0

Is this the apple cider diet you were asking about? Because I can get on board with this one.

If the diet has an official name or copyright, it's probably a gimmick or too restrictive to manage in the long-run.1
