What book are you reading?

The probably 100th re-read of:
Terry Pratchett's - "Moving Pictures"1 -
Haven't been reading much in the way of books lately. Mostly finding research papers and articles for certain topics of interest. But for some reason I am dying to tear into Walden again. It's actually a very primal need to read it right now, so going to try doing an audio book of it, but will probably grab my copy off the shelf and go through it again.

Prisoner of Azkaban1

Guy is a tad preachy about his vegan stance, though.

Rereading To Kill A Mockingbird because I remember none of it from middle school (or high school? idk). And listening to Human Acts by Han Kang. It's an interesting one, to say the least. Pretty graphic tbh.1

My coworker has a masters in english and is a huge book nerd, and she says probably when most people say it's so good, they're actually talking about the movie. I mean, the book is pretty simple.0 -

Never seen the movie, but the simplicity is what's so good. It's the idea of evil and racism and rumors all through the eyes of this child and i feel like the simplicity and innocence of it is why I like it so much0 -

True true, I guess I'd agree with that point. We googled and the title is in reference losing innocence.1 -

I've never read this one, but there's another one called The Life Changing Magic of Not Giving a F*%K by Sarah Knight, and I'm just here to say I don't recommend it.1 -

I cannot speak to Sarah Knight's book but Mark Manson's book is awesome. I have listened to it at least 3 times. Very directly helpful.1

I thought You Are A Badass was super cheesy and lame. But that's just me. I've read some cheesy and lame stuff (eg. Madly in Love With Me) that I've actually gotten a lot out of, despite the lameness. Hopefully you'll find something helpful in there.0 -
Is The Maze Runner worth reading? I haven't been spoiled by the movies yet.0

Someone who lives in my building keeps leaving their finished books on a window ledge in the main lobby, so I've been getting a steady stream of crime thrillers which is handy as they're my favourite kind. I'm currently reading "Nest" by Terry Goodkind. It's pretty good.1
