ETA: I think another 5 pounds will do the trick.
Well I'm down the 5 pounds and technically in the dress, but there's just a bit too much VPL for a woman of my age to be showing, so let's call it 5 more pounds. New mini-goal. Incidentally, those same 5 pounds will take me to the top of the normal BMI category, so double mini-goal.
I know how to fix that!
Hell, I don't even know what VPL is, let alone how to fix it
@TackleWasher Visible Panty Line. Aren't you glad you know that now?!?
Thanks.
Now I can explain to all the women how to get rid of them.
Very simple solution.

Ahh. You don't know what you're talking about. Listen to me and go back to lifting your 10 lb kettlebells (or was it 10lb reams of paper?) You don't want to get bulky, do you?1 -

I'm not much of a commando girl, but that is also an acceptable solution.1 -

i will be at my target goal in 4 pounds for a total of 100 lbs lost. Also I want to be able to run 30 minutes without stopping.9

I will like to no longer have back pains due to disc damages and for this, first step is to lose around 88 pounds.
I managed to stay on track for 2 weeks now, doing my own meals for the time I am at work , at least 35 minutes of treadmill per day and around 2.8 pounds lost. Seeing I do no longer crave for sweet is giving me straight to keep going.3 -

This sounds like a really great start! Just track, get some modest exercise in, and trust the process so long as the amount of effort you're putting in is sustainable in the long run for you. It'll happen. And use this community!!! I don't have disc damage (that I know of) but my lower back was already feeling miles better after even losing 20 pounds. Best of luck to you.2 -

Hmm. I never really do this but today I decided to do a particular set of exercises (along with my usual training program) everyday to observe incremental progression in real time. I'm doing it with a fellow friend on here so I'm very curious as to see how this turns out in the end.0

I have two mini-goals
1. To work my up to doing 5 miles a day exercise on bike or elliptical -currently at 3-3.25 miles
2. to get under 200 pounds, I've got 25 pounds to go!3 -
1. To make the top 20 list at the gym (big chalk board in the lobby with the top 20 members for the month based on # of gym visits).
2. To reach my goals for the month on my two dietbets. Money is a big motivator for me apparently.3 -
1: to make my new size 22s go from a little snug to just right. I figure ten pounds or so should do that.
2: this one starts after payday on the fifth when I can buy the veggies, I am going to challenge myself to eat eight 1/2 cup servings of veggies each day for a week - and no corn, except in mixed veggies. Right now I eat no veggies regularly, except corn occasionally.
I am only limiting corn because I want to encourage variety in my vegetables, if I say corn is allowed, I will eat mostly corn. Every day. I don't intend to never eat corn again, I will probably eat it in addition to the eight servings a day, I just don't want to cheat by eating four cups of corn and calling it good. I want to learn to like other veggies too.12 -
gracegettingittogether wrote: »Today, I hit the last of my three mini goals! I've lost 15+ lbs, passed 190 and am now 189.2, so in the 180s! I'm so happy! Now my next mini goals are reaching 20 lbs lost at 186, then reaching 182, which is what I weighed at a doctor's visit years ago, and always want to be at or lower when I go in for a check-up. Then 25 lbs lost at 181. So every few lbs will be motivating!
I got to 182.6. Now my next goal is 174, when I will finally be overweight and not obese. Only 8.4 more pounds to go!4 -
My first goal of this year was to be healed and strong enough to out of “the boot” and off crutches after Achilles surgery (12/19/17) by end of February! And No crutches the last 10 days! And Doc says boot comes off the 14th! ... second goal is to be down to 185 by end of February (12/19/17 weigh in on surgery day 203.7) next Goal is to complete a 30 day raw vegan challenge!1
