My name is Nikki - I am 29. This isn’t the first time I’ve joined MFP or have started a diet. This time it’s different, instead of dieting I’m making a lifestyle change. It has taken me this long to figure out that it’s not all about a diet - it’s about changing my habits so I can be the best/healthiest version of myself! I am currently using AdvoCare products and trying to eat clean. Tips, pointers, accountability, encouragement, friends are welcomed

Hello happy trails1

The one thing that has enabled me to change from a diet to a lifestyle, is meal prep and planning. Once I started planning my meals, preparing them ahead of time, and not deviating from the plan, it became routine. It's still difficult at times because I am in the road a lot and entertaining customers or having meals brought in during large meetings, but it works better than anything else I've tried so far.1

Yesss! I’ve started meal prepping/planning as well .. and it definitely helps! Where I work they provide lunch for us and it’s never healthy and it was always a source of temptation.. but since I’ve started to bring my meals it’s sooo much easier! I’ve only been on this journey 3 weeks and it is getting easier

It will continue to get easier as you go. Good luck. I keep Quest protein bars on hand at work. They are low carb and low calorie. They work great as a meal replacement. I also keep protein powder and a shaker cup at work for the same purpose. In case I forget to bring something it was unable to for some reason. The bars are nice if I have to go on the road unexpectedly.1 -
