@blwelch1 It's from lifting 5 days a week, doing about 2 to 2.5 hours total of HIIT cardio (mostly on the stairmaster) per week, and eating in a deficit. I'm told that the reason I was able to gain so much muscle while eating in a deficit was due to my being a complete newbie to weight lifting. Newbie gains.2 -

I love this thread! Such beautiful and STRONG women! I just started StrongLifts 5x5 a few weeks ago and I keep worrying I'm not going to lose fat, just gain muscle underneath it all! But this thread makes me so excited for results!2
