JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS | Round 31

5'1" 47 YO female.
Round 30 starting weight on 1/28 at 107. Ending weight 104.0

Goal. I used to be 101#. That would be super cool. However, for the 10 days, my goal is to find something in 103.x land and maintain that weight. I've been up and down since Dec. 1st . Highest at 107. Ending that trend. Mentally getting my head back on straight.

02/07 183.6 I expected this, as I got a RED sodium warning when logging my food yesterday. I made some bad food choices for lunch and skipped dinner. I have to really work on eating out less. I take lunch to work and end up eating out anyway! Smh

02/08 182.6 Did cardio and weight training. Ate IN and stayed within my calories. Macros were pretty good also.

02/09 182.6 Feeling good. Still motivated to make good choices.

02/10 181.8 Yesterday was a hot mess. I was in a car accident. I wasn't hurt but was shaken up. Had coffee for breakfast, a lunch full of bad carbs, no dinner, and forget to log, so my streak is gone. But I'm glad I'm okay, and I'm thankful the scale was nice to me this morning!

2/11 182.4 I had vodka and pound cake.They were worth it!

Back Again

02/07.. 143.4 At goal for last round.. Yeah! Did an hour pool exercise yesterday. Today -? I don't know but something. Goal for this round is to lose another pound so 142.4 Getting back to it. Been experimenting making my own protein bars. They taste great and are high protein, low carb and costs less than my favorite Quest bars.
02/08...143.4 50 min on ellip which is probably why I'm the same even after 2 small egg rolls. Today, protein bars, salad and eggs ...no wine.. I'd Like to see a drop.
02/09..144.2 Why the increase? Don't know. Made some cheesy cauliflower breadsticks; perhaps the salt in the parmesan? Ate clean except for 2 small cookies. No wine. I guess it's just fluctuation.
02/10.. 144.2 no exercise to speak of and indulged - martini and some pumpkin pie. Glad it's not worse. Today, exercise and clean eating. Cold Saturday here.

02/11 143.8 Exercised in pool yesterday... felt so good and good to know I don't need a class to do it. Sunday love to all.

Maan - I was just thinking about how difficult things might be to get the weight off this time, and I came across this. This is a great idea - I'm in!!
**Round 31**
Heaviest/Round 31 Starting Weight: 235lbs at 5’ 11” (Feb 6th 2018)
Lightest Weight: 175lbs (March 2009)
Round 31 Goal Weight: 232 lbs
Ultimate Goal Weight: 185 lbs

Daily Goals:
Drink 90-120oz of water daily; consume 1300 cal and measure food; no added sugars/sweeteners; around 1500mg sodium intake; get in as many steps as possible; do chi gung; sleep more than 6 hours nightly!

02/07: 235 – Almost hit a snag when a major meal ingredient ended up missing, but found a good substitution! Sodium went over pretty badly (2711 mg) – I’ll have to reduce prepared foods for tomorrow. Steps were on the lower end. Everything else good!

02/08: 234.4 - Number moving in the right direction! Missed chi gung, but measuring steps now that FB Blaze is operational. Sodium vastly improved, but still 300 mg over goal.

2/09: 233.6 – All day before dinner was great, hitting all goals! Except…dinner came with pizza, which probably ended up being not so great for both calorie goals and sodium intake. We’ll see how tomorrow looks!

02/10: 234 – Shabbat means rest, and often results in (too much) laxity

. Off on water and sleep, chi gung was absent, steps were low (hanging around the house), and I ate a lot more, junk or not. Will have to figure out how to manage this better, and/but I'm hoping gradual behavior changes will help calibrate this naturally.

02/11: 236.2 – Number did not surprise me due to Shabbat habits, but I did not like seeing that. It often comes down after a day of disciplined wellness, but we’ll see. Already starting good on water, measured breakfast, and extended chi gung. Back to business!

-1.8 lbs. Yay! I know weight fluctuates and this will probably go up and down throughout the 10 days but it's encouraging to see. I can see why you are all saying that weighing yourself daily is a good thing, to show patterns and what effects your body. 10,246 Steps, 20 Min. Lower Body Str. Training, Ate within my Calories.

02/09: 241.8 (Very close to hitting my 1st goal weight!)
-2.4 lbs. Wow! I've been on and off Fitness Pal for years but when I would log in it would be me guessing and not being completely honest. Not using it every day, and even when I did I usually was way over my calorie range. The last few days I've logged every bite. 10,438 Steps, 1 Hour Walk, Ate within all MFP goals.

02/10: 242.6
+0.8 lbs. First gain in the challenge. Yesterday I ate within my calories but ate all of my exercise calories and went 10 over in sugar. Drank about half the water I usually do and was in a lot of pain last night (back, legs, and feet). So, I might be retaining water. No where close to 10,000 Steps. 30 min. Arms and Abs w/ Cardio.

02/11: 240.8
-1.8 lbs. Back down again. I didn't think I would be losing this much, I've had such a hard time losing weight the last few years. Even though I've been eating really healthy, drinking lots of water and being more active. The staying within the calorie goal and logging everything seems to be the answer. Yesterday I ate within my goal and walked a little under 10,000 steps.

My muscles are sore today after a new workout class yesterday, have some inflammation. I ate well yesterday and today, but not enough water. Has anyone tried TRX suspension classes? I really enjoyed it and I plan to go once a week.

02/07 / 286.4 / Giving myself a cheat day for the Super bowl was a bad mistake. It took until today to correct the damage from salt intake, and I gained weight. Cheat days come at a huge cost.

02/09 / 284.2 / Keeping to the program, drinking a lot more water than 8 cups (never more than 12, no worries!)
02/10 / 282.8 / Yay! This is even with company over, and 5 oz of wine. Truth is, I really don’t want more wine. A glass is perfect.

Ending Round 30 Weight: 106.9 (pounds) which was the goal . . . but . . . I have lost my edge, eating over calories, blowing off exercise and just all around not feeling motivated. Weighing daily reveals my weight is beginning to climb again.

2/7 - 107.3 (goal this round is 106.5 or less of course)
2/8 - 107.0 - feeling ready to commit to the plan again: Calorie, Exercise and Wine goals

2/9 - 106.4 - I have a few days off work and can focus on my goals (looking forward to working in the yard and playing with the doggies).
2/10 - 107.1 Calorie intake is too high even for added exercise. Typical for me. Gotta stay mindful in the evenings.
2/11 - 106.8 - feels like my true weight. Hmmm . . . in theory if I have a deficit of 200 kcals/day for the next 5 days I could reach a "true weight" of 106.5 lbs which is my goal. This is doable!

2/7: 157.4 SAY WHAT NOW?! "The first step to getting anywhere is deciding to not stay where you are."
2/8: 157.4 I really do believe this number will come up. I just can't believe my eyes and think this number is real. I didn't mention it yesterday, but I was in a car accident on the way home from work Tuesday night. No one was hurt and my car wasn't damaged, but my back has been really sore. God waa watching over me for sure. "She believed she could, so she did."
2/9: 158.8 I ate healthy. I ate within my calories, but what I ate had a lot of sodium in it yesterday, and I did not take in as much fluids either. I need to rectify that today. "Don't quit."
2/10: 158.2 I ate well yesterday, but I did indulge in 2 pieces of cheese pizza. It was "National Pizza Day" as my son reminded me. I stayed within calories and my carb goal though. So, I call it a win. However, I was so BEYOND full off those 2 pizzas. I'm not used to that many carbs in one setting anymore. Whew! "Be the girl that decided to go for it."
2/11: 158 Date Night with the hubby last night!!!! I haven't had any 1:1 time with my husband in about a year. We went to dinner and the movies. Unfortunately, dinner was awful, but it left tons of calories for popcorn at the movies and a soda. YUM! "You have to get yourself up every morning, and tell yourself "I can do this."

02/11 131 - I was a little over my fat grams again yesterday, but I was under calories and my portions were small throughout the day and I felt less full/bloated going to bed yesterday. I felt good waking up this morning for the first time in a couple days, and I really thought I would see a drop. Oh well...maybe I can end the weekend without a gain? Make some diet changes this week to consciously drop the sugar big time and see if that helps...?
