Not until you have a black toe. Sorry, but face plant just means you're clumsy.
(totally kidding and hope you heal quick).
I know about the black toe. I have one on my the second toe of my left foot and a matching one on my right.4 -
I know that the scales that calculate BF % (the ones where you hold the bars and it scans you) are not super accurate, but as trends go, I've gone from 26% last March to 19% this month!25

I just had some ice cream. I stopped eating it when I was satisfied rather than finishing the two cups just because it tasted good.15

1 week cigarette free!
I allowed myself 5 days of anything BUT cigarettes and even though I gained a couple of pounds, I *feel* healthier, am breathing better, and working out is so much easier!
My last cigarette was after Zumba last Monday. I was so wiped out! This Monday, I went and hit a DL PR after Zumba!67 -
@aeloine A week without cigarettes - Awesome!4

I just have the one on my left toe. And I actually got it from X-Country skiing, but I still claim it makes me a runner.

I have a few: I keep having to pull my pants up. I was actually able to wear a pair of skinny jeans that have been at the bottom of my drawer because they were tight, uncomfortable and made me look fat. I was able to wear them last week and thought they looked pretty good! I discovered the art of logging a day ahead of time, and it's helping me stay within my goals and even plan out treats!17

When I voted today, the woman checking my ID gasped and said, "Wow! You've lost a lot of weight."19

I have one!
I am not a runner, but I want to be. Every time I try though I get really bad shin splints and/or arch pain in my feet. But I decided that this year I would try to go for a run/walk in the park once a week. My plan is to walk to the park (0.75 mi), go around it twice (once around is 1k so about 0.6 mi) and then walk home. And I did that! And I jogged more than I expected because I could. And my legs don't hurt!
Also, last night I did a little jump roping.
And today is an unexpected day off so I may also go and hike up the 'mountain' behind my apartment this afternoon.
I have someone I am trying to beat in steps each day (he doesn't know) and he has beat me the last two days so today I need to do better than him.
Also, great job to everyone, I love this thread!
*For anyone who doesn't know, NSV is non-scale victory*19 -
I bought two bikinis last week! My intention was to go shopping early enough so I could have time to pick a suit and work out until I was comfortable enough to wear it this summer, but i actually already feel comfortable in the two o bought. Any further progress will just be icing on the cake.23

We did it! And we did our first run together on Valentine's Day! (Seriously - this was NOT planned!).
First NSV - I did the whole thing at an average of 9km/min! Second NSV - I did all the 8 sprints WITHOUT stopping! YAAAAAAAAAAAY! Third NSV - Hubby really enjoyed it and asked when will we be doing the run again! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!28 -

If you are serious about running go and get fitted for running shoes from a proper running store. The right shoes really make all the difference in the world when it comes to avoiding injury.9 -
A friend reposted an old photo of me from 2013 on Facebook and at first I legit didn't recognize myself.
The photo shows well why these days it's possible for me to flap my arms in a way that my loose skin smacks itself #sexy. But f'real, I look way better these days, flappy skin and all.

We've had a number of anniversary celebrations where I work recently (read: excuses to eat cake) and I have managed to not to indulge in a single piece!22

I don't have a scale, but the measuring tape says I'm down -1cm from chest, waist, hips and -0,5cm from my thunder thighs Took bloody 6 weeks!22

Both my daughter and husband told me on different days-that I am looking thinner!18

Was able to walk 30K on Saturday over 44,000 steps. Hit my AW 400% goal and longest step day!!23

100% agree. I ended up getting plantar fasciitis because I was wearing running shoes that weren't properly fitted and inappropriate for my gait. They can be expensive but will prevent you from injury or no longer running because it is uncomfortable/painful.7 -
NSV: coming to this thread after treating myself poorly yesterday.... as opposed to just letting go completely of my planned food and such. You all are doing so great and are inspiring!!!18

My kids are very active in sports but I haven’t been active in anything for years. I realized that had to change so I’ve been working out and eating well lately. We usually get pizza once or twice a month and this time around the kids opted to have stir fry with us instead. My husband is eating clean and working out with me and even my 9 year old is doing a squat challenge with me. We all ski together on the weekends instead of me just watching them and driving them from one activity to another. my NSV is now realizing how improving my own health has improved the time I spend with family!30

This time of year, it's pitch dark when I have to leave for school. Last year this time, I slipped going down the stairs outside and fell. HARD. Shredded that pair of pants and had to clean dirt and stones out of my bloody knees. This morning, I slipped, but I've been taking yoga weekly and doing some balance practice just about every day, and instead of falling, I simply wrenched myself upright and made it down the staircase without further incident. WOO!38

I can run 20 mins now without stopping! First time I've been able to do that in over a year and a half!31

I had just finished at the gym and started my walk home), when I bump into a student I knew, whom graduated last year. So he hasn't seen me since I started losing weight, and it ended up being pretty funny. He did about 5 double takes, unsure if it was really me. Then he started complimenting me about my weight loss and how great I look.
Really makes me feel good about my decision to go to the gym today, even though I wasn't feeling the best. I almost just went home after work. But it was a nice boost to my ego.28 -
Had a service call on Saturday morning, the wind was blowing, and it was 27 degrees Fahrenheit.
Had to go on the roof to do some troubleshooting, so I put on my insulated overalls. Could feel my pants falling down under my overalls but the belt was on the first hole. Finished my service call, got home and warmed up. Took off the overalls then my belt. Had to drill a new hole in my belt. Small victories.37 -
My glasses keep sliding off my face!24

did 4km swim this morning. Started to be miffed that I didn't have time for 5km, but realised that cooling down was more important.
Learning what I can do and what I should do lol. Sat at desk now really glad I cooled down and stretched out!24
