02/07 - 153.4 ~ Two walks in today and yesterday made a Skinnytaste dinner in my Instant Pot Jalapeno Popper Chicken Chili, my boys LOVED it!! Super easy chop, toss in, turn on and forget about it. 17,540 steps 1642 calories
02/08 - 153.6 ~ Got my walks in. Little rise in the weigh-in maybe it was the popcorn after dinner? Always interesting to look back and analyze. 17,660 steps and 1678 calories. Been climbing over the 1600 mark the last few days.
02/09 ~ 152.1~ Wow, new low. (Happy Happy Happy!!) No popcorn last night. 17,975 steps and 1511 calories.
02/10 ~ 150.9 ... Wait what? 18,490 steps 1612 calories. Today’s goal to hit the 400% achievement on my tracker.
02/11 ~ 151.1 ... 44,140 steps. 2395 calories. Achieved my 400% goal.

A little surprised, but I walked 3.5 miles yesterday and spent an hour packing and moving boxes around, so it's probably "muscle water" since I stayed within my calorie goal.

So I went a little crazy over the weekend and didn't do a lot of exercise and I paid the price. It was a good lesson. I am back on track now but going out of town on a mini-break for the long weekend. I will try to moderate my food and alcohol consumption otherwise I will never make any progress!

Maan - I was just thinking about how difficult things might be to get the weight off this time, and I came across this. This is a great idea - I'm in!!

Daily Goals:
Drink 90-120oz of water daily; consume 1300 cal and measure food; no added sugars/sweeteners; around 1500mg sodium intake max; get in as many steps as possible; do chi gung; sleep more than 6 hours nightly!

02/07: 235 – Almost hit a snag when a major meal ingredient ended up missing, but found a good substitution! Sodium went over pretty badly (2711 mg) – I’ll have to reduce prepared foods for tomorrow. Steps were on the lower end. Everything else good!
02/08: 234.4 - Number moving in the right direction! Missed chi gung, but measuring steps now that FB Blaze is operational. Sodium vastly improved, but still 300 mg over goal.
2/09: 233.6 – All day before dinner was great, hitting all goals! Except…dinner came with pizza, which probably ended up being not so great for both calorie goals and sodium intake. We’ll see how tomorrow looks!
02/10: 234 – Shabbat means rest, and often results in laxity . Off on water and sleep, chi gung was absent, steps were low (hanging around the house), and I ate a lot more, junk or not. Will have to figure out how to manage this better.
02/11: 236.2 – Number did not surprise me due to Shabbat habits, but I did not like seeing that. It often comes down after a day of disciplined wellness, but we’ll see. Food and exercise goals were on point, but this was my second night with interrupted or less sleep that aimed for. The workweek should put me back in routine for this. Let’s see if I’m impacted by this…
02/12: 234.8 - Number is going back in the right direction! I’ll be foregoing Shabbat laxity for the next few rounds. Have been below my calories just slightly and have been finding I am tired earlier than normal, so I want to make sure I hit those and the macro ratios involved. No chi gung, so I’ll want to do that and up my steps for tomorrow.
02/13: 233 – Under my last lowest weigh-in! Fingers are crossed for my R31 goal! The menu and morning went well. Day progressed decently but got derailed due to a work issue. Got home late and early tiredness returned and knocked me out, resulting in dinner, chi gung, and the last water intake being missed for the day. I'm going to aim to move chi gung to the morning so that no longer happens.

02/07 - 150.6 lbs: Been eating around my calorie limit of 1200. Measuring my food out. No complaints!
02/08 - 150.4 lbs: I was really under my calorie goal, but during the whole day yesterday, I didn't feel hungry.
The hunger hit me when I went to bed.
02/09 - 150.8 lbs. Agreeable. Yesterday's calorie-intake was a bit of an overload due to boredom.
02/10 - ????? lbs. Had a funeral to attend to yesterday, and ate all of my feelings away. Had a big feast last night. Ate so much I didn't care to log in everything in because I was with family and friends for support. No biggie, just cheated the whole day today.
02/11 - 156.8 lbs. GAINED 6 lbs within 2 DAYS. Understandable... My last meal yesterday was ramen, and so all of that salt retained my weight, right? Correct me if I'm wrong guys lol. I promise to do better today. Fruits with coffee isn't bad for breakfast.

02/08 - 68.5kg - no alcohol yesterday, not making the best food choices today and yesterday but stayed in deficit so not terrible!
02/09 - 68.1kg - small drop, no alcohol today but had to eat out for lunch and dinner so may jump up a bit tomorrow
02/10 - 68.3kg - busy day, no alcohol
02/11 - forgot to weigh, didn't get planned exercise done today as a bit achy from hockey game yestwrday

02/12 - 68.8kgs : I ate out all day yesterday so that would be why I’ve gained this weight. I cant believe I’ve worked so hard to lose few hundred grams over a few days, only to gain it all back plus more from one day! Anyways I won’t be having no added sugar over the next 5 days. Wish me luck!
02/13 - 68.2kgs : ok so my no added sugar yesterday didnt pan out as I wanted. During lunch time when I went home to workout, I ended up eating noodles that mum has made. I didn’t want to waste it! But at least Im back down to 68.2kgs. I really want to get to my 67’s! But TOTM is coming soon so I’m hoping I’m hovering around the 68’s because of that reason…
02/14 - 67.5kgs : Omg! I cant believe I got to 67.5kgs! I honestly thought I’ll have trouble with it, but not only have I met my goal, I’ve exceeded it! Hmm..now the hard part is maintaining that…Esp since my weight fluctuates daily..
On the other hand. My no added sugar goal..I did so well yesterday throughout the day until I forgot about it and had bread last night! *sigh*.
02/15 - 67.6kgs : This whole no added sugar thing? I’m failing everyday. Yesterday was Valentines day and I indulge in some fruits with chocolate dip. I also over indulge during lunch (with a massive steak with fried onion rings, creamy mushroom sauce, potato mash and buttery vegetables), as well as cheese at night time. I was so worried I might gain a 1 kg-in fact I expected it! But fortunately still below my 67.7kgs goal! One more day to go. Really enjoying this challenge because I’m only focusing 10 days at a time.

This was a planned "over" day for me. It always makes me a bit nervous when I exceed my usual calorie goal by several hundred calories, but I'm just trying to remind myself that it will be fine.

I try to only use the scale at work, so I won't be weighing in today or tomorrow as it is the weekend. I somehow managed to keep it under 1,800 calories for the day, which almost never happens on Saturday!

02/08- 228.5lbs. No surprise that I've gained weight in the last few weeks. I had frozen pizza the last two nights and more snack mix then I'd care to admit. But I just signed up for a 5k in two months and i really want to be in better shape for that. So I am going to get back into gear this week!!
02/09 - 227.2lbs. Yay! I didnt track yesterday and ate a bit more than I should. But I did take a nice long walk. I'm planning on being much more controlled in my diet the rest of the week, so hopefully I'll keep seeing a lower number.
02/10 - 224.6lbs. Wow. I ate Marcos cheese sticks for dinner last night... But I tracked and was still under my calorie goal. I also took a long walk. Ended the day with the flu, so I probably won't eat that much today.
02/11 - 225lbs. Well, I'm not surprised that I'm up. My husband came home last night with a frozen pizza and chips. I tried not to give in, but he only had half and offered me the rest. Plus, I was literally in bed all day with the flu so i got no exercise. Feeling a little better today, so hopefully I'll get a walk in.
02/12 - 224.4lbs. Alright, back down! I was pretty on top of my food intake yesterday. I stayed well under my calorie goal. I still didn't get much exercise. A short walk at the mall, but that's it. But today, I'm up to 2k steps already and it's only 9:45am. My husband challenged me to a contest of whoever gets the most steps by Friday gets to choose where we eat on date night this weekend. Haha. And neither of us really like the restaurant the other wants. So I'd really like to win it. Thankfully, I'm starting to feel well enough to actually go move around.
02/13 - 222.8lbs. Woooo! Im very happy with that. I was on top of food yesterday. At the end of the day, I was still hungry. And not out of boredom but actual hunger. So I listened to my body and had a bit more, but instead of something unhealthy, I did half a whole wheat English muffin with peanut butter and an orange. Plus, my step count was almost at 15k. Which is much better than my usual 4k.
02/14 - 222.2lbs. I'm happy with that. Tomorrow, I may see a gain because I gave in to stress eating this morning. That's something that is going to be a continual struggle in my goal to get healthy. But I will work on better ways of coping with the stress.

My muscles are sore today after a new workout class yesterday, have some inflammation. I ate well yesterday and today, but not enough water. Has anyone tried TRX suspension classes? I really enjoyed it and I plan to go once a week.

I did go to TRX on Sunday after work. I followed that by trying a beginner restorative aerial yoga class... But I experienced severe motion sickness about 2/3 of the way through. The upside-down stuff is not for me. Monday, I went on a nice two-mile hike with my SO and friends from work. Went over on my planned calories but my net calories were under my goal. (I don't deliberately eat back exercise cals but I'm not on severely restricted calories.)

The scale is really not budging for me, but I've made major changes in my exercising and I think it's not unusual to have a lot of water retention when starting a new exercise program. I need to get more fiber and water, too. Went to my third TRX class this am (Thurs-Sun-Tue) and I went to five yoga classes last week (one strenuous, the others slow), plus had some physical work to do at work (hauling brush & shoveling mulch) Sat and Sun, one run, and one hike. I feel like I'm getting such a great workout and I hope the scale starts to reflect my increase in activity.

02/09: 222 this morning! I went snowshoeing yesterday and the day before, and I'm surprisingly not sore. Wish I would've had time to go again today. I have a nice deficit today anyway.
02/10: 223.4?? Had a 900 calorie deficit, sodium and macros were on track. The only thing I can think of is water. I usually aim for 100oz, but I think I only made about 60oz yesterday. Tonight, we had a fundraiser meal at our school. Rich Italian soups and beautiful whole wheat rolls. I got too close to the dessert table and may or may not have splurged on brownies and cookies. Water intake was also low again. I expect tomorrow's weight to be up.
02/11: 223.1. That was a nice surprise. Much better than gaining. Ate within calories today. No exercise.
02/12: 221.7 Technically, I'm within calories today. My sodium and carbs are both over a bit, but not too badly. I'm surprised that my numbers aren't further out of whack because my honey took me out for an early Valentine's dinner at my favorite local Mexican restaurant. Their V-Day special had fried ice cream and two house margaritas with our fajita platter. Did I mention that my partner doesn't drink? To be fair, I've also drank over 100oz of water today and still going.
02/13: 221.3 this morning. Yeah, I'll take that! I was actually dreading the scale this morning because of last night! Didn't eat back any of my exercise calories today. Still working on today's water intake, but I have a few more hours.
02/14: 220.8 this morning. Food was on point. Walked for 90 minutes. Ended with 876 calorie deficit.
