I’ve been walking daily over 10,000 steps
Eating lots veggies fruit water smaller portions
And it’s been 3 weeks with no progress!!!! Not even a pound lost !
I’m thinking of quitting cabs and starches
I am weak! I have a food addiction I can eat non stop
And I need to know if there’s anyone out here that is on the same line I am
Waking

How many calories are you eating? Are you weighing your food?

More activity keep food the same. Do a weight tracker. Move every hour.

Quitting cabs should help you out with increasing your calories out, assuming you’ll be doing more walking now

I was so ready to "woo" this, then I read it again...I'm a little slow sometimes.

Isn't this pretty much saying "out exercise your bad diet"? That's not great advice.

True. We have no idea what OP's stats are, how much or little she is eating, what her goals are....hard to give good advice without any information. As far as "out exercising a bad diet," I tried that for over 40 years, it doesn't work.

How much weight do you have to lose? How many calories are you eating? How are you measuring your portions? Has your weight been going up and down, or is the scale giving you the exact same number every day?

This app says to have 1840 calories a day
    I am logging everything
I weigh my food (proteins meat)
I have smaller portions and have cut out rice pasta and bread
As of this morning I am down 5.5lbs!!!

Good for you! I know so many want losses the minute they step on the scale.....doesnt work that way! You work the program to fit your lifestyle but with optimum health benefits in mind. YOUR GONNA DO THIS FOR LIFE!
But also see weight loss progress! We do not lose in a slantboard trend but like stairs downward with a few bumps along the way.
Take note as to what you did different and keep it moving ahead!
It will come but YOU have to be patient!

Congrats on your weight loss so far!
I bolded the above because I wanted to ask are you only weighing meat? What does "smaller portions" mean? To know what you are truly consuming you should weigh everything.

I am weighing meats cheeses and going by portions of what the app states (ie: baby carrots 10)
By smaller portions I mean : no second helping, no over indulgence and I use my kids plate making sure more veggies on the plate and meats not any starches
My goal is to lose 100 lbs.... but for now I’m doing baby steps. I want to lose 20 lbs and when I do get there I will keep going
To say I need to lose 10 more lbs... if I set the bar tooo high and don’t see that progress then I know I will quit and I don’t want to
Slow small steps at a time to reach my goal
